This was our second time trying this place and it was disappointing both times. Staff is very friendly, but that's about the only positive. It took a very long time to get our food. I was in Blue Sky last week and picked up lunch to go. They had a pulled pork taco special for the day. It had some cabbage and light bbq sauce, I usually wouldnt have ordered it because I'm not a big bbq fan but it was by far THE BEST PORK TACO I'VE EVER HAD! I went back in last night to see if they had it again and they didn't, so sad! I wish they'd put it on their menu because I'd be in there every week. I've been craving it ever since. This place doesn't even deserve a star! The service is HORRIBLE. No one is friendly or willing to even look at you. We went here Sunday evening at 6pm, there were six of us. We sat in the bar area, pushing two 4 tops together, one of which was still dirty with dishes and glasses. We sat there waiting while a waitress went to a 4 top table, then walked right by us. A man came in and sat at the table next to us, a male server came right over to him and in less than 3 minutes he had a bucket of beer. We were still sitting there with a dirty table. Finally at about 6:20 the waitress who waited on the 4 top passed by and made eye contact with us and said "oh, has anyone come to your table yet", my friend said "NO". The waitress continued toward the bar. About 3 minutes later a girl came over, in jeans and a t-shirt and sweat jacket and said she was sorry, but she's been here since 4 and has been sooooo busy. REALLY there were maybe 3 tables in the dining area and 3 in the bar area. Anyway, she asked us if the dirty dishes were ours, and then apologized that they weren't cleaned up. She took our drink orders and put the menus on the dirty table. 5 min later still nothing, we decided to leave, we told the first waitress we were leaving and asked to see a manager, she said there wasn't one there. That was flipping OBVIOUS!! The bartender had on a nasty looking hoodie, the male server looked disheveled, shirt un-tucked and all. I will never go here again. The service is non-existent, the food is forgettable and the whole place has gone down hill over the past 2 or 3 years. Awful, would not recommend this to ANYONE!! read more

Visit here on occasion and tonight sat in the bar. As we ordered saw the bar tender say she was hot. They turned the air on, on a night when it was chilly out. The cold air was blowing down on our table and made our Luke warm food even colder. It didnt help that we had to ask for silverware to eat our food. Looking around and people are putting jackets on. Long story short, the service was slow. The food was sub par. The employees seemed to care more about having a good time with friends than they did the customers. When we arrived, we stood at the front for about two minutes before the waitress walked back in through the front door with another employee (we assume), she asked us where we would like to sit and we replied that we had never been there before so where ever she recommended. She sat us in the bar area and took our drink orders. In this section, the air conditioner was blowing on our table on a luke warm night, which seemed to cool off our food a little faster. It was going well until my significant other asked for recommendations which the waitress kind of half assed. She didn't really recommend an item, she just said that everything was good or alright. We decided on our appetizer, the chips and spicy cheese, which were good but we ran out of cheese about 1/3 of the way through the chips. When our food came out we were sorely disappointed. I ordered a combination of burgers and my S/O ordered a flatbread pizza. Both were very greasy and heavy. Neither were very satisfying. They claimed their tater tots were the best around, but they just tasted like regular tater tots and were also incredibly greasy. They looked like tater tots from a bag, not homemade. We were planning on trying the desert there but decided against this as the food did not merit any trust that the deserts were "the best around." To further frustrate us, we were unable to get refills on our drinks. But the most irritating part was that we watched the waitress take drinks with what we could only assume to be friends. Now this may not be the 100% truth, but this was our perception because she was sharing with a friend out of a martini glass. We also witnessed the bartender hand a shot glass full of some kind of mixed shot over to the cook right before we left. At that point we paid our tab. Our stomachs were pretty uneasy for the rest of the night. We both left unsatisfied. This was out first and only experience. And we went at 8:15 at night. Maybe it was just the staff that night. I can't imagine they run a business like that on a nightly basis. But It's unlikely that we will give them a second chance. read more

Been to this place 3-4 times and it has always been consistent: Average food and Average/below average service. The service might be improved if they would have more than one person serving tables at any given time. Refills are slow and infrequent. Food is fairly typical bar food really. Not bad, not great. A lot of variety though. Good for an afternoon lunch when you are not in a rush. read more

I found this little gem of a place on Yelp and finally gave it a try. This is my kind of place for many reasons. First it is not far of a drive from my house. Next is a simple kind of decor that is relaxing plus a large bar area and a dining area for the times you don't want to sit at a high bar table. The menu has many items on it that sound great, I had the pretzels and wings. Both were great, but if you are wing traditionalist, you may want to get something else. The sauce had a bit of an sweet oriental taste to it which was unlike any other sauce I have had before. I really enjoyed it, but I can also see how others may not. The pretzels were served hot and came with a cheese sauce that went nicely with a soft fresh pretzel. Our waitress was very good and checked on us often (my beer glass never got a chance to go empty before she asked if I wanted another). Ignore any negative reviews on this place and give it a try. They are sure to have something you will like. read more

Well, I hate to type this because I've been here many times before and have always enjoyed myself, but a friend and I just went in a little before 2 on a Friday to enjoy a drink. I wish I could say we were able to have one, but sadly had to leave after over 15 minutes of sitting there and not being acknowledged at all...even after other people who arrived after us were able to place drink orders. I wish I could just rate the food so I could give them 5 stars. But the service here is beyond terrible. I have been at least 6 times because the food is great and priced right but each time we have recieved BAD service. When you enter they have a sign to wait to be seated, no one has ever been there to seat you. Once had to go find someone to seat us. Once after being seated told someone would be with us in a minute. 8 minutes later she finally showed up and wants to take the drink order. Told her we were ready to order, so she took our order. Asked for ice tea with lemon to drink. Brings my tea no lemon I tell her I want lemon she returns holding in her bare hand 2 slices of lemon. My wife looks stunned waiting for me to blow up but I held my tongue. Now the good, the food has always been spot on. The Big Damn fish sandwich is named right. The Asian wrap is awesome. love the sauce. The patty melt was perfect. If you order tater tots you get enough for 2. The flat bread pizza is very good also. I REALLY wish they would correct the service issue because its getting hard to return for the food even if it is great to be served so poorly. read more

I was excited to try this restaurant that was the first time and the last. It took forever to get anybody to wait on us to take our order. The first item I ordered was not available they had run out. The second item was very bland ,a piece of meat between two pieces of bread with wilted lettuce.no flavor whatsoever and the waitress was very rude and brought the wrong item that we ordered in the first place. Nice local restaurant, also has outside dining. Menu is above average, items generally have a twist. The homemade chips are outstanding - thinly sliced, beautifully crisp. Sandwiches and salads are large and fresh. Staff pretty amusing. Definitely recommend read more

Bartender was very nice. Was waiting for another person so I moved to a bar table. I made eye contact with the waitress 4 times and said hi. She did respond with a smile but never asked if I needed anything. Then she finally asked if I was still using the bartender for my drinks..... Anyway I ordered Fish Taco's. As soon as she sat them down I knew I could not eat them. Very fishy and it was Talapia so sent it back. My friend got the French Dip and Tater Tots. Terrible! Staff is rude. Ordered an overpriced martini and caught the bartender putting cheap rail vodka in instead of the top shelf listed in the description on the menu. My friend ordered a Grey Goose on the rocks. He was served watered down rail vodka. Go a mile down the road to Town Square Pub and Grub. Tried this for first time tonight. Seated promptly, more than 10 minutes before wait staff broke away from their activities back by bar, then ordered items from menu. Appetizer ordered hot wings, brought barbq wings w blue cheese; sent that back, then our sandwiches arrived. None were flavorful as expected. I ordered Reuben, but it was worst Reuben ever: no dressing, bare w kraut, & meat was not corned beef, but rather thick sliced tasteless ham. Then wings arrived, not hot wings but we decided these were the bbq wings brought earlier, washed, refried, & sauced. DONT EVER EAT HERE!!!! read more
