Took my mom here for breakfast while on vacation. This place was fantastic. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I got the cream chipped beef and hashbrowns with cheese. Both knocked it out of the park. My mom got the crab benedict, which she ate all off, and that's pretty rare for her to do. She loved it was well. Will return here next time we're in the area. Ps. My mom wanted me to mention how great the coffee was as well. Agree, a really good cup of coffee, and they leave the carafe on the table for you to refill yourself when you order it. That's a pro move. read more

Excellent fare, super friendly service and atmosphere! We tried this for the first time today and can't wait to return. There were four of us in our party and each of us received outstanding entrees. I had the grilled chicken breast with mashed potato's and green beans, my wife had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, my father had the pork chops with okra and my mom had the salmon. We all commented on the fresh flavor and the generous portions. The salads we had preceding the meal was also excellent. Fresh salad with onions, cucumbers and tomatoes topped with a House Dressing that is also very delightful. read more

Food was delicious and atmosphere was out favorite in Myrtle. However, I left a pair of Meta Ray Ban glasses on the table, walked out, pulled out and right back in to only be told they weren't there but I was welcome to check the table. The table that had already been cleaned. I went back to my car and called Meta to find the last location connected to my phone which was in fact the Blue sky. I already knew because this was our only stop. I went back in to let them know and gave my number...nothing still. Did they even ask the waitress? | sent the owner a private message with no response still. So after looking at their page and locating the waitress... seems to have a record but I can't confirm since no one will return a message. So if you want great food and to leave missing stuff this might be your place. Update- it's been over a week and still no response from the owner. Not even an acknowledgement so I'm not sure they care about guests either. read more

Stopped in for breakfast before golf with a party of 4 on a Friday. The restaurant was busy but we got sat right away. I had the breakfast skillet which was great. Others had an omelette, the chopped steak and a typical egg meal. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the service was very fast and pleasant. Definitely worth a try. read more

Ordered liver and onions from the lunch specials. The liver was overcooked and smothered and in gravy. Liver and onions SHOULD NEVER be served with gravy, if the liver is cooked properly. The fries were tasteless and cold. our server was excellent. we had a large group and she had a number of tables. Probably won't go back. Recommend you stick with breakfast or sandwiches. read more

Breakfast and lunch only, but you can order from the entire menu all hours. The decor was amazing with a mix of southern charm and modern. LOT'S of tables (250 people capacity) so don't be out off by the parking lot spilling over into side streets. The staff was amazingly nice and very helpful. Our coffee/tea and juice come out a 15 min after we ordered ... keep in mind this is 3 black coffees (they brew one pot and leave at the table)1 orange juice, 1 apple juice, 1 unsweetened iced tea, one green tea and one soda water so it is not like we ordered As she drops the drinks off she the. Takes our order ... again nothing complicated.. omelettes/over easy eggs/ pancakes (your basic breakfast )fast forward15-20min .. now at this point we are watching 40-50% of the tables around us get there food and drinks in a timely fashion, (including tables that were sat after us and left before we even got our food) as well as the turnover of the table go extremely quick,.... 20 minutes goes by... 30 minutes , 45 minutes and now we are over an hour waiting for our food, the food comes out, we are missing multiple items, orders are wrong and the worst part is it is cold , the omelette I had (ham and cheddar with peppers and onions) was cooked right but when I ate in the middle the cheddar cheese looked like it had melted and then cooled off and became a disgusting version of old cheese, the potatoes that both my uncle and I had tasted like they came out of a metal tin and sat under a heat lamp for 5 minutes and served to us, I am by no means a small guy and I love a good breakfast, I took 3 bites of my omelette and was too disgusted to eat anymore... the only one that actually enjoyed their meal was the 7-year old sitting with us because her food had chocolate on it...we explained our frustration to the waitress and she directed us to speak with the woman at the front... my Father in Law goes up to the front desk to pay and the woman that looks like she had been there since the dawn of time tells him, "it's Mother's Day, we're busy"... not I'm sorry not is there anything else we can get you to replace the bad meals(we do not mind paying for the food, we went out to eat completely expecting to pay). absolutely zero remorse from the front cashier and absolutely no management was around to rectify the situation... Like others on here I was very surprised they have so many 5 star reviews. We went for breakfast, the parking lot was packed, usually a good sign. Not the case. Let's start with the positive. Waitress was lovely, coffee and bacon was good. I had the gyro omelette, taziki sauce was good... omelette itself was dry, almost rubbery, barely any feta and the lamb tasted off. Also got cheese grits (definitely not made with any kind of grease, flavorless, cheese, salt and pepper couldn't salvage them) biscuit (had like a burnt fake butter taste, idk like the pan was sprayed with a butter flavored non stick and it left a horrible taste) and a side of corned beef hash (100% out of a can) Hubby got the Spring House Special. Asked for over medium eggs, they were over hard, already said bacon was good and the pancakes were terrible. Flavorless, tough, chewy, limp, lifeless. Devoid of hope. You get the picture. Better pancakes at iHop and that's saying something. Didn't finish a single pancake. Also, why is there a live bird in a cage on their "second floor" whilst we eat?! read more

I passed by this restaurant for years and finally stopped in. Very nice decor and friendly staff. The business is opened for breakfast and lunch a d closes at 2:00 PM. As usual, I ordered and omelet which allows me to compare this offering to other restaurants. My standard omelet consists of Bacon, Cheese, Mushrooms and Onions. I preferred red onions but that was not available. It does not appear as if they sautéed the onions and mushrooms as the onions were very crunchy. I normally will have cheddar cheese but chose feta this time around. Surprisingly the order came back very quickly and was tasty. Also had hash brown and wheat toast. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was good. If I had to rank it, I would put this experience just below First Watch and above Cracker Barrel. read more

My hubby and I really like this restaurant. We love camping 'up' here and come frequently. This is the second time we came to the Spring House to enjoy the food, the friendly service and the ambience. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict and my husband had the sausage omelette. The fresh coffee had a mild Smokey flavor and was delicious! Within 10 mins of arriving, we ordered and were served. The restaurant interior is like a doll house and very clean. This is an awesome breakfast place joint. The joint is clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome, at ninja level. The bathrooms were clean and I felt comfortable and secure. We were looking for an early morning breakfast place before a fishing charter out of Murills Inlet. This was the only place that appeared to be open at 6:00 AM. We arrived and were the only people in the place. However by the time we cleaned our plates, the place was busy. Food and service were fantastic. Wow, we loved our breakfast here... during my stay in Murrells inlet, I knew I wanted to check this place. I love a good diner! I had such a delicious egg white omelette with broccoli, feta, and turkey accompanied by the most amazing potatoes. I usually never eat the potatoes that come with the omelette but I ate this entire platter ! I even housed a small side of the sausage gravy, really amazing... I'm mad I didn't get a biscuit, I should've ! Poor planning on my part lol. Also had the apple pancakes and French toast .. the apple pancakes tasted like dessert and the French toast was Gone in two minutes... we loved everything. Service was fast, waitress was nice, food was hot and we were in and out ! Loved it. Cute looking local diner that is def worth giving a shot. read more

In fact, cross that vibe with the saccharine-pink of Dolores Umbridge's office, and that's what this place felt like. My breakfast lacked something in the way of character--and temperature. (My eggs were lackluster. The sausage was dry. My OJ tasted like it came out of one of those pre-mix institutional dispensers. But the pancakes were good, even if they were served with that same corn-syrup madness that too many places use instead of maple.) My grousing aside, the people were friendly, and service was fast. I might complain a bit about my breakfast, but it did fill me up. I just prefer it to feel a little less like cafeteria fare and more like someone in the kitchen put some soul into their cooking. read more

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time for Easter brunch. The Virginia baked ham special came with sweet potato casserole and choice of 2 sides (4 choices) plus dessert. The ham was a good size portion but it was a grilled slab with pinapple ring on top. We chose green beans, carrots and mac and cheese for sides. Vegetables were so soggy and overcooked we could not eat them. Sweet potatoes were average. Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a can. Iced tea and cup cake were good.
