I called Blue Star at 10:49 a.m. and they gave me an ETA of 12 noon. George arrived well before noon (11:36 a.m.) He replaced my cracked windshield within 45 minutes. Even offered to place my front license plate on my car with his screw gun. I had it in the dash near the windshield. As far as I am concerned, he saved me from two possible fix-it tickets today. Last minute, I remembered about my city parking sticker and oil change reminder that I had just received in Florida (so I believe an oil change is due soon) but when I ran outside to tell him, he had already placed it on the new window! I called them today regarding replacing the seal around my front windshield. Within two hours the technician was here and after looking at it for 5 minutes he determined the issue I was having was not related to the seal of the windshield. He told me it wasn't necessary to remove the windshield and replace the seal. He didn't charge me anything which saved me $250.00. I asked the man that answered the phone if he can explain how he fixes the chip so I can compare what he does differently than the other shop that charges $30. George is amazing at what he does. We brought in one of our Minis to his shop for a windshield replacement. When I spoke to him on the phone, he said he had the one we needed. Upon arriving he noticed that the glass we needed was not the one he had. I was expecting him to ask if we could come back tomorrow, that he would have it then. But instead, to my surprise, he said he could go get the one we needed and would be back in 15-20min. He came back quick. And got to work right away. 18 years of experience he has the glass off the car and installing the new glass right away. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. And his price is the best one we've come across. The shop is clean and well ventilated, and his wife is very sweet. Discovering a crack in one's windshield is an instant buzzkill, but if you have this unfortunate experience George is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!! Called this morning at 10, he said he could come to me by 11, I chose 12 and 15 minutes later my chipped and cracked (tiny but so annoying because I have a touch of OCD ) windshield was fixed! Called George needing a windshield replacement for a new 2013 Prius! He was fast, efficient, extremely well priced, friendly, and most importantly he was honest! I called several people who all quoted me about double what George quoted. George later explained that the Prius C and V windshields are much more expensive and so most people try to get the more expensive price out of you even though the regular Prius is much cheaper! I called him and he told me he could be at my house in 25 minutes...he was there in less than 15. Replaced the entire windshield in 35 minutes and explained the entire process because I decided to stay and watch. He used high quality and well maintained tools and products. Extremely impressed with his service. I eventually messed up the glue on the windshield about 10 minutes after he left and got the black glue all over the interior gray plastic, them stupidly tried to remove it with a wet cloth and smeared it all over. I gave him a call to find out what I should do. He offered to come back and help even though I told him not to if it was too much trouble. He back over immediately and was able to remove the glue completely, no charge, and did it less than 5 minutes. Definitely recommending George to anyone who needs auto glass repair.
