I didn't feel like there were hidden costs, but note there may be extra costs for you after they demo the pool, if you are also re-plastering. Caesar and Eddie were very responsive to email and text with any questions and concerns and made sure to come themselves to double check any issues. The team overall cleaned up after themselves and left the job site in good shape. The company is full service and brings the pool "full circle" and provides service to fill the pool, check filters, services the pump, etc after the pool is re-plastered. Work style: I imagine like many companies of this type there are teams of craftsmen that come through at different stages. I was able to get a clear schedule for the demo and the plaster phase, but the pool "startup" was a bit more variable (this mattered to me because we have dogs that have access to the yard, so if this applies to you I think you have to be very clear about hours of availability in advance). It seemed that a foreman would come and check in the team periodically. My only complaint through the whole process was that during the plaster day the crew installed a leaking hose that sprayed all over at the spigot at my stucco house and foundation for several hours, when I finally saw it, I had to draw attention to the crew to fix the situation. Due to how long the process with water takes, if it was not caught by myself it likely would have done some damage to the stucco wall. This was my only real issue over the entire job. Overall, communication was great, the finished product is beautiful, and pricing was fair and transparent. The pool came out looking fantastic.

He was upfront on what would be expected of me and what he would do weekly/yearly. I had no idea what a pool needed. He explained that the pump needs to be run at least 6 hours a day to circulate the water. He would come weekly to test the water, clean the pool and check the small filter (and probably other things I forgot about). Yearly, he puts conditioner in (he explained what it does but I can't remember). A couple months ago, my pool started to turn slightly green. He put some other chemicals in to help it. But it didn't work. So he checked my big filter and told me it needed a cleaning . He and another guy came that weekend and cleaned it. After he was done, he texted and explained everything he did to the filter and pool and what I needed to do to make sure the water clears up. By the next day, the pool started to clear up. Within a couple days, it was back to normal. He's very responsive and helpful. He comes when I'm at work so I usually text him if I need anything or have questions. He speaks English but is also fluent in Korean. Totally hire this guy/company if you need a pool guy!

We reached out online, answered a few project questions, included a photo of current pool/spa, and immediately received a response and our first meeting was scheduled with Raymond. Of course our simple wants ultimately turned into what we truly desired in this remodel. Raymond was amazing. He was an excellent communicator which earned him bonus points from the start. Not always knowing the questions to ask, Raymond was very confident in his knowledge, informative with our options, and very patient with us. He always remained professional and respectful when he had to suggest that what we wanted might not work out, or if we had to decline options that were too costly. Most importantly, his quote was extremely detailed and everything was always transparent. We liked that Angels Pools is a local family owned company with all of their own employees, no subs!! We knew they were the pool company for us. Contract was signed, project starts, and thats when we really got to see this powerhouse team work their magic. She was awesome and probably had the toughest job of handling just about everything with exception of coming out and remodeling the pool herself. As demo days are not fun for anyone, we were amazed at how quickly the process took, and how many team members were onsite to make that happened. One team would go and others would come in depending on the scope of work needed. Junior being the Project Mgr was both kind in his demeanor, professional and kept the ball rolling smoothly throughout the entire project.
