My husband has been taking care of our pool cleaning for almost 2 years has been able to keep it clean and clear since he's been doing it but since he had gotten super swamped at work. It had gotten hard for him to keep up with the pool. After it being windy and rainy our pool gathered a lot of dirt at the bottom of the pool and for some reason our vacuum wasn't picking up. So with memorial weekend coming up we decided to hire someone to clean our pool very last min. Which Carlos was able to come out the next day and at the time seemed very knowledgeable. So we hired him. The pool came out clean and he has came every week until he missed a week without notifying us he wouldn't be available to clean the pool. That week that he missed our pool started to gather algy. I contacted Carlos to see if he was still going to be cleaning our pool since it's started to turn green from the week he missed. However if he had been coming weekly to clean our pool. There is no reason why our pool should be turning green with one week missed. He mentioned that he would be coming the following week and that his wife was supposed to be emailing us or have contacted us to let us know he wasn't working that week but we never got a word from either party. At this point I was just really frustrated cause 4th of July was the following week and our pool started turning green and if he had planned to take the week off he should of prepared with the upcoming holiday. He ended up cleaning our pool 7/2/18 and added chlorine and acid to help with the green. However our pool should of been shocked but it wasn't. Also our pool was still green and super foggy so I contacted him that night to find out if our pool was gonna clear up before the holiday and he mentioned he would return the next day to follow up. Which he did return. He did some more cleaning, checked if the filter and everything was running correctly. My husband cleaned the filters that night to make sure it wasn't the problem for our pool not getting clean. Next day comes 4th of July our pool is still foggy greenish and we aren't able to use the pool since I wouldn't let the kids in with it looking the way it was. Comes a few days later our pool is officially green as it would be. 1 week missed and a day of pouring chlorine and acids just made our pool worse and green! I contacted him to let him know that we weren't gonna be using him anymore and my husband would be going back to cleaning the pool. There is no reason our pool should of turned green. The filters are clean. It's shooting water correctly even tho he mentioned it was shooting everything back when he cleaned but we never had a problem with our pool before hiring him on. Our water level was never up and he would never turn it on to fill the pool either. I have cameras in our backyard and noticed that he would only do a 20-30 min cleaning when our old pool guy would take an hour along with husbands cleaning. It doesn't take 20-30min to clean a pool. My husband took a sample of the water to Leslie's to find out what he needs to do to get our pool back to normal and when they checked our levels they said our pool had no chlorine and our levels were completely off. My husband is now in the process of getting our pool back to normal. Which just sucks cause we are going through a heat wave and all our kids want to do is go into our pool. read more

I found Carlos using Yelp! and I'm glad I did. He came out same day, which I know is not always possible. He could have easily sold me a pump motor which was frozen. Instead he worked the frozen motor loose and he got it to work. He suggested that I run all three pumps for a short while once a week to keep this from happening again. I first called Froggy to ask some general questions, right away I could tell that Froggy has great customer service, he helped me over the phone, and soon afterwards i had to get him as my pool guy. Once he came to my house, he noticed that my system wasn't running as it should. The people I had servicing my pool before him never said anything, and a couple of guys said it would cost over $300 only to diagnose the problem with my system. Well Froggy was there 1 day and found the problem. What 3 professionals couldn't do before him in weeks he did in 1 day .... all I can say is wow! Froggy impressed me and I would recommend him to anybody, he is extremely knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service! My pool system is running better than ever and it is crystal clear ... Carlos is such a great person! He is unable to respond to my house because I live too far from his area. However, he has spent over an hour on the phone with me explaining the possible problem with my pool. He has given me several pointers and explainations as to how to problem solve my issues with my pump and skimmer. Even though he knew he would not be getting money from me for his services and time, he was patient and kind. He even went out of his way to call me back the next day to check up on me and the pool. I called this guy Carlos and initially he was very nice prompt. After the first visit he was explaining all the things that he will do to the pool. He told us he will pour chemicals on the pool but observed he instead used our own chemicals. Next thing he promised he will come back on certain day but never showed up. Tried to call him multiple times but didnt respond. He called back told me "im sorry I have to take care of my kid". Next thing you know he definetly is gone. He didnt bother to call us back just totally ignored us. Very bad customer service. I will definitely not recommend this guy. Great service! Moy was very helpful and very fast, in and out in less than 2 hours! He was able to change the grids in our filter, and the pool went from dark green and swampy looking to a lighter and cleaner green! Rust (Re-bar corrosion) Stains, Acid Wash, Chem Balance. Great work, honest and helpful!! Had some corrosion and rust staining also had some chem issues. I drained pool and was about to paint but wanted to get the re-bar corrosion taken care of. I called Carlos to get a quote on the work. He gave me some good info and was able to repair the staining and acid wash for a very good price and saved me some cash. no painting needed and pool looks amazing. My husband and I recently purchased a townhome with a jacuzzi. Unfortunately, our spa was left unfilled and not running for a couple months, which we new was not good. After filling the jacuzzi, the water was so murky that we couldn't even see the bottom. We went to the local pool store for advice, and of course were upsold on multiple products. Still unsure about what the pool store had told us, we decided to call a professional. We found Carlos on Yelp, and it was such a blessing for us that we did. Carlos came out the next day to inspect our situation. He walked us through step by step about the spa equipment and taught us what we would need to do to upkeep the spa. Carlos also told us exactly what products to buy to treat the dirty water, and of course it made much more sense than what the pool store people had told us. I could not recommend Carlos enough. Was on the hunt for a good, honest, reliable pool man when I came across Froggy's on Yelp and found just what i was looking for. Carlos saved our pool and our money. Our former pool man was not doing his work as he claimed and even though he was showing up once a week and getting paid, he let our pool go green. He claimed we had a clog yet two weeks gone by and he did nothing to fix it and stopped returning our calls but Carlos to the rescue! He came and realized there was no clog but a cap had fallen off the filter (probably when the former pool man did his "work" since my husband and i don't touch it) and there was no need to blow it out so he didn't charge us. Beyond honest, hard working and skilled in what he does! We hired him right then and there for weekly service and he started working on the pool that same day despite it being a late Friday evening.
