Stopped here for brunch as soon as we got to Myrtle Beach. Had the pancakes, which were nice and buttery and fluffy. Very filling. I was full, but had to finish them because they were so good. Eggs, sausage patties, and grits accompanied the pancakes well. I prefer restaurant grits that are more creamy, but they were good, nonetheless. Ordered a mimosa flight, and all the flavors were refreshing amd perfect way to start my birthday. The restaurant has lots of seating outside on enclosed patio and a nice bright inside.l, with a roomie bar to sit as well. Our server was nice, attentive and happy to answer our questions. read more

Very interesting place, great vibe. We were on the wait list after we left church but it was very efficient and the tine frame they gave us was spot on. This place is super busy but it's impressive how everyone works together so well- servers, busers,, people who deliver the orders. Our waitress was Lay/Lay and she was so sweet, friendly, and efficient. Before we go back to California as our vacation ends I was craving hush puppies. Their blueberry hush puppies served with whipped butter and blueberry compote were perfect! My husband enjoyed his eggs, sausage, and blueberry muffin with apple slices. Definitely recommend. Go online and add your name to waitlist to save time. read more

First time in South Carolina and had to try this spot! The unique menu includes blueberries in quite a few dishes. Not to worry, there are dishes without blueberries too! My Blueberry Waffle was DELICIOUS!! NOT TOO SWEET AND the syrup was delicious.. perfect balance of sweet and tart. I will say, the coffee was okay (I ordered the columbian roast). Staff was great. We sat at the bar. Food to me wasn't that great. I had a Bloody Mary and granted it wasn't the worst one I've had but it really wasn't good. I didn't finish it. Love the food here! Everything we had was delicious. We started with the blueberry hushpuppies which were delicious. I had the Melted Scrambler which was so tasty - a good amount of ham, sausage, onions and cheese. Someone I was with ordered the Blueberry Crème Brûlée French Toast which was ok - it had good flavor but we didn't love how everything just kind of sat on top. Another person I was with ordered the Chobani and granola was a good portion with a selection of fruits - she loved it! Coffee was good. Customer service was good. Good size portions. Breakfast in a touristy area is expensive and we all know this and Blueberry's Grill is no exception. I'd actually say this was a little higher most and I'm from NYC. The service and speed was great and it felt like this was the only place I ate in Myrtle Beach during Spring Break that was appropriately staffed. All the food was delicious, cooked perfectly and the seating outdoors was very pleasant. If you want to avoid the craziness of breakfast that some of the other breakfast places and don't mind the high prices, highly recommend. They also seem to have a good brunch cocktail menu so after a few of those, you won't even care about the costs ;). read more

I came here last month with my mother on a trip to Myrtle Beach and it did not disappoint. We came for brunch and were promptly seated outside. I definitely suggest the outdoor space if weather permits. Our server was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly, especially considering how packed the restaurant was. Really varied menu from savory to sweet options. Omelets, pancakes, skillets, biscuits and loads of varieties within that. We tried the blueberry hush puppies served with salted butter and blueberry compote...delicious. Hubs had a skillet with home fries and it was served piping hot. I had the crab cakes benedict with fresh fruit. It was very rich with a traditional hollandaise. Service was friendly and quick. It was crowded with a short wait on a rainy Monday morning in October so I imagine it is packed during peak season. read more

This was a great place and breakfast but it is getting a four star because of the host stand. I did a call ahead and when I walked in and said who I was the three people working the stand were very cold. I get it they were busy...so not real upset about that...they seated us outside. We were waiting over 15, stopped on our way to the airport, and no one even looked our way. I go to the host stand and said we were seated around 15 minutes ago and no one has talked to us. The answer was I don't know where I sat you. I get that too but say it a little nicer. First, there was an outside dining area that was pet friendly! The server, Lauren H. noticed we had a dog and offered him a cup of water, which meant a lot for us! This was very important to us so I put it first. Second, we went for brunch. I got a blueberry crème brûlée French toast, a side of 2 Over Easy eggs, and a side of Applewood bacon, which by the way, each was very well cooked! KC my Maltipoo & I enjoyed it so much! My wife enjoyed blueberry ricotta, waffle, and a side of two eggs over easy, which were also cooked to her taste. We asked for coffee and Lauren got the coffee and offered us water as well. Overall, Lauren was very thoughtful and kind. Check-in hostesses were polite, helpful courteous, and found us an outside table outside and text us when it was ready! Absolutely recommend this place! Highly recommend getting yourself on the yelp waitlist because it took us about an hour and a half before we got seated. The food here is amazing and ambiance is great! I got the crab cake Benedict's which were so good. Not everyone does crab cakes right, but they do. With one partner being a proud military veteran and the other a culinary visionary, they bonded over a shared discipline for quality and a love for bringing people together. They recognized that Myrtle Beach was missing something crucial: a breakfast spot that prioritized fresh ingredients over the standard "freezer-to-fryer" model. They set out to change the local dining scene by creating a true Scratch Kitchen—a place where food is made fresh daily and creativity leads the menu. The host then proceeded to cut her eyes at us. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily judgmental and condescending. I'm a bar manager myself, so I understand the service industry very well. If there was no availability, a simple, "Unfortunately, we're fully booked tonight," would have been completely understandable. What I don't understand is making potential customers feel unwelcome or beneath your establishment based on how they happen to be dressed. And that's the thing about working in hospitality: you never know who is walking through your door. We were fully prepared to spend good money on dinner, drinks, and leave a generous tip. Instead, after seeing how we were being treated, I grabbed my boyfriend's hand and said, "No, we aren't spending our money here," and we left. You can have great food, but hospitality starts before the first drink or plate ever reaches the table. Making guests feel judged the second they walk through the door is a great way to make sure they spend their money somewhere else. On that note, we to Fiesta Mexicana next door and they had exceptional customer service, great food, and a very welcoming vibe! I highly recommend.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It is very rare for me to be as furious as I am to make a yelp review. We came into Blueberrys around 11 am on May 29th. They told us it would be a 25-30 min wait, no problem. We waited on the side and were told that we have to wait outside because there was no room, in the 90 degree weather. Not a big deal. We went outside and waited, 40 minutes go by and no one has called us. I went inside to notice they skipped over our name on the wait list, and were most likely not going to be served until I stepped inside to see what the deal was. Our server was okay, didnt pay us much attention. We got the glasses of water and the smell was HORRENDOUS, the glasses smelled like fish. We asked for 2 new glasses and the waitress responded with "I'm so sorry about that, let me get you guys a few bottles." She comes back with sparkling water. I tasted it and didnt like it, so i left it aside. an hour goes by and the food hasn't come, we ask another server about it and she says she would get our waitress. Finally it comes, the pancakes are drenched in butter and the omelet is cold. I was upset and just wanted to leave so i asked for my check. I noticed the waitress charged me for the 2 sparkling waters even though we didnt touch them. I asked to speak to a manager and no one ever came. The waitress was kind enough to take them off. The management here is terrible. I would not recommend this place if it was the only place opened in Myrtle. read more

This was our second visit. Last time we were there, just a couple of months ago, all was great! Hence, our return. The food is still very good, and the service was excellent too --once we got seated. We were told there would be a 90-minute wait. There were patrons seated at exactly five tables, inside AND out, when we arrived. 90 minutes..? We then watched table after table get seated and served. I approached the hostess again, and they said they were short-staffed (?). When I told all three of those young ladies that they have obviously seated people ahead of us, they shrugged and offered to "move us up" on the seating list. List? WE were the only people waiting. After this, things moved along fine, but it truly was ridiculous. If there is such a significant problem with employees, please save the public from the hardship and close after 3 or 4 hours instead of 7. We clearly would have visited their other location, if a real problem with being served were made clear. We really liked this place, and hope to be back, try not to do this again, as this was pretty bad. The food was amazing and their brunch mimosas are to die for! We live in the New York area so our expectations were very high! This place measured up to what we were expecting! I really wanted to love Blueberry Grill, but the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I checked in at 10:48 am and wasn't seated until 12:36 pm. Almost two hours--totally unacceptable. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The chicken and waffles were great--the chicken was flavorful and cooked well. However, the new steak sandwich was disappointing. For the price, there was barely any steak, the bread wasn't toasted, and it felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. The blueberry hush puppies? Overcooked. The one saving grace was the service--our server was attentive and friendly despite how busy they were. But overall, the long wait and some underwhelming dishes really took away from the experience. Food is always on point. The flies were disgusting. Looking at previous reviews seems like nothing has been done about it. I get when restaurants are busy delays are expected. But there should never be delays on courtesy. Being sat at a table for 20 mins before anyone has acknowledged you is sub par. The disconnect between front of house is clear when they're all talking about their lives instead of being customer centric. The English muffin on the crabcake Benedict was so hard so I just ate the crab cake which has a nice flavor to it. Home fries were good. Online shows that there's vegan options but that's not true per se. They had oatmeal made with water which had zero flavor and was so watery my baby and husband didn't bother to eat it. My wife and I ate here today and the food was delicious. We walked in and it was very busy, but the hostesses in the front were warm and inviting and asked us how we were which set the tone for a nice accommodating breakfast. The food came out quick and they even cleared off a special booth for us. My wife enjoyed the coffee and even took one to go. Went based on reviews and didn't disappoint. Did outdoor seating with three adults, 3 year-old and baby. It was nice ambiance and wait staff was very good. Constantly came to the table to top up coffee and made sure everything was okay. Pancakes were a little under done for the little one but they happily gave us a new batch. The Chorizo was amazing as was there build your own omelette. My wife actually ate the whole omelette which she never does and I ate the entire chorizo skillet - Which I never do. We would love to go here once per week - but unfortunately, because of their prices - it is now only for special occasions. For breakfast, you don't expect to have a check for 2 people to be over $30 - and the portions are VERY small. We already know that when we leave from here and went to Starbucks for pastries to actually fill us up. I had the bananas foster French toast and it was delicious AND filling. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and she gave me a bite to try along with the potato wedges and it was also delicious. I have been going to Blueberry`s since they opened and have always been happy with it. However the last 2 times I waited forever to get a waitress to even come to the table even though they were not even busy. I heard they were expanding to another location. My advice is to get service at your first place running better before you open another one. Since my first visit right after Blueberry's opened I have become a regular. The waffle blast is divine and my once weekly treat. Also a favorite is the Scrambler. Lunch favorites are the Kale salad with grilled chicken and the Charleston Shrimp and Grits. It goes without saying that the blueberry muffin is the best ever:) The staff is always friendly, helpful, attentive. They even stayed open late today to let a friend join me for a late lunch. This is my go to! Bananas Foster French toast made with Halle bread. Grits with goat cheese and pesto! There are three kinds of shrimp and grits on the breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the bbq sandwich which came with Cole slaw and fries. There was a good size amount of meat, tender, with a sauce on the side. The sauce was in a more liquid form than thick. It was a little spicy for me but with the slaw, which was sweet it was a good thing. The fries like most places had a coating on them and were nice and crispy. None of my food was hot, but a good temp for me. Kids got grilled cheese which was a normal sandwich with applesauce. One had a cheeseburger but spoiled by fast food didn't like it. The adult with me said it was really good. Friend had the flounder sandwich with waffle sweet potato fries and hush puppies. Fries were very crispy. Sandwich ok. Service was good, they had kid menus and activity sheet. Prices are good. They give discount for cash pay, upcharge for credit card built into prices.

The Russian dressing was just right with the turkey and for a side I chose coleslaw. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce fresh. The others in my group loved their lunch too. One had a Philly cheesesteak and the other a chicken panini. I tried a bite of the Philly steak and it was delish. Service was great and we sat in a booth. We all enjoyed our lunch today.
