My monthly breakfast group and I checked out BLUEBIRD Cafe this morning. Very good food, beautifully presented, and very tasty. Service was a little slow with our food order taking a little longer than usual. Two minor complaints: one, we had a group of five, but we could not be seated until we were all there (Even though we knew the fifth person was coming). Second, they don't do separate checks at the table. They will separate them out at the register when you pay. All totaled, we ended up paying around $20 per person for breakfast and coffee. read more

Bluebird cafe recently became one of my favorite spots for breakfast! The atmosphere was very fun! Our server was also amazing , he was recommending us to try his favorite dishes and drinks. I have ordered what feels like the entire menu over time at the Bluebird. Everything is just great. It all starts with great ingredients. You will notice that their bacon is thicker, meatier and top quality. Guacamole on their dishes, clearly fresh and home made. I love their mexican breakfast dishes. Most recently I had their oatmeal pancake and a side of eggs with some green chili. As usual, loved it. I also have a medical condition that requires dietary restrictions - the Bluebird happily customizes my orders. This was one of the best breakfasts that I have had in a long time. The Cinnamon Chip waffle was delicious and the cinnamon butter topped it off nicely. The environment was friendly and homey. I came here on a Saturday morning with some friends, and despite it being 9 AM, there were still plenty of tables to chose from and our party of six was seated immediately. I ordered the crab cakes eggs Benedict with a side of dressed greens, and it was very good. The eggs were only a smidge overdone, but the yolks were still runny and the Hollandaise sauce was good, so I was satisfied. My friends ordered other items such as the Mexican omelette, biscuits and gravy, and the spinach, bacon, and mushroom omelette, and they were all very happy. My fiance and I went this morning to have a nice relaxing delicious breakfast at the Bluebird Cafe on Thornton PKWY October 31st, 2021. We planned on going to the Bluebird Cafe on Friday October 29th, 2021 due to all the great reviews we had heard about this place and we both were very excited to eat there. We live in Southwest Denver which is not very close to the Bluebird at all but that didn't matter to us, HOWEVER that WAS NOT the case at all once we were checked in We checked in around 1030 AM on 10/31/2021 which not by  surprise there was about a 30 minute wait give or take. We were asked for our name and cell # and that we would receive a text when a table was ready for us. The wait did not discourage us at all due the reviews and couldn't wait to eat here and figured most things are ** WORTH THE WAIT ** which is true in most situations BUT NOT at the Bluebird Cafe!!!! We waited patiently but by now we had almost been waiting almost a FULL HOUR !!!! I called the Cafe at 1132AM to double check that we for some reason didn't miss their text and verify the cell phone number they had. The host confirmed our cell number as well that we had not missed a text from them because there was still 5 people ahead of us and would be about another 30 minute or so wait for us ?!?!? Not very happy with this information we contemplated waiting or not. Now my fiance and I are both very irritated to the fullest and HANGRY !!!! For some reason decided to wait and went next door to Safeway to get some groceries and some snacks for the football game today. We took our time and was finished grocery shopping around 1230 and still hadn't received a text or call from the infamous Bluebird Cafe... now he's PISSED and I'm FURIOUS !! After we put the groceries in our vehicle I called them several times before a live person actually picked up their phone !!!!!! At 1st I was told we wasn't even in their list and if I was sure we checked in   after I told her yes she still questioned me and actually had the nerve to say to me "" you actually came inside and checked in ".... One thing I can't deal with is someone speaking to me like I'm an idiot !!! After this I asked to speak with the manager and the managers name... by by COINCIDENCE ** the manager just happenedtobe standing nexttothe host ** This so called manager Bridget was not only RUDE but completely unprofessional and she also questioned and tried to argue with me !!! I let her know I was going to post a review as well as get in contact with her manager and or corporate, That was when this so called **  MANAGER BRIDGET ** told me to enjoy my day and hung up on me !!! Now it's 115pm, I'm beyond FURIOUS and hungry because we still haven't ate and the game was going to start in less than a hour !!!! Not only am I posting this review but will skip Bridget's direct boss and go straight to corporate.  I will not and would never recommend the Bluebird Cafe !!! As for a rating if there was negative stars available that still would not satisfy my Horrible experience with them !!! read more

If you want a great dinning experience... this is the place to come. Affordable prices innovative menu a very friendly staff. The restaurant is clean and although they are always busy seating is is within the limits of what I would say is practical. The owner although busy always takes the time to greet you.
