Missed a photo of cinnamon roll that's how good it was. Get here early because it's a smaller place and will be packed fast. You do not want to miss out on the brown sugar butter baked French toast. Everything on the menu is fresh and amazing not a single complaint. Price is very reasonable and portions are great. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting superb quality comfort breakfast food. Staff were super friendly and service was amazing!!

Good food, friendly service, and chill environment! I really enjoyed the eggs benedict & the blueberry muffin here and my husband enjoyed the grits bowl. Service was friendly and the interior was charming & cozy.

Now I know why they close at 2pm... because there is always a line and people absolutely love the food and are willing to wait for deliciousness! They make everything fresh and in house and everything is served hot and with a smile. The servers are attentive and excellent in their suggestions. The biscuit sandwich was packed with thick and perfectly cooked bacon. The pancakes are the most fluffy and soft pancakes I've ever had. If you are in the downtown Chattanooga area... this is totally worth the trip!

After a long drive from Florida, we were starving and looking for a quick spot to fuel up before heading over to visit Ruby Falls. Bluegrass Grill offered a decent breakfast selection, and the service was friendly and quick, which was just what we needed. As a breakfast lover, though, I have to say the meal was good but not anything to rave about. It hit the hunger spot, for sure, but it didn't quite elevate itself above the standard diner fare. Everything was cooked well, but the flavors didn't stand out as much as I'd hoped. It was solid and satisfying--just nothing exceptional. All in all, Bluegrass Grill is a reliable stop for a basic breakfast if you're in the area, but it doesn't quite have that "wow" factor I was hoping for. Still, a good spot to recharge before exploring the sights!

The service was incredible. Our server, Nina, was so helpful and so kind. It was loud but not so loud you couldn't talk. The food was so yummy - truly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The toasted coconut coffee was recommended by our server in training and man he was right on. It was so good, and giant (pictured with butter and creamer for size comparison). I subbed the sides of the black bean burrito for chorizo and a slice of the Japanese milk bread French toast. I cannot overstate how good it was. My husband got the JM omelette and he said it was also delicious. Our bill with my substitutions was only $45. 10/10 recommend!!

From food to service, this was one of the best breakfasts I've had in quite some time. We had th blitz all the way, a black bean burrito with chorizo, and a Greek omlette. Every. Single. Thing. Was amazing!!!!! The Blitz was so light and a great first bite to start our day. The burrito and omelette were so punchy and flavorful. Everything was so well rounded. Get your behinds down to Bluegrass and enjoy!!!!!

I had Saturday brunch at Bluegrass Grill last weekend and really enjoyed it. We waited maybe 20 minutes as it was quite busy even before 10am. It's a smaller place but they have outdoor seating and it has a friendly vibe. They have a huge menu of delicious-sounding breakfast options so something for everyone; our server was great and gave us several recommendations. I went with a biscuit with bacon, egg and cheese and it was very good; the biscuits are an unusual mix of white and wheat so they are more dense than the traditional southern biscuit. The cheese grits were good though not overly creamy. The coffee was standard diner fare which is how I roll, so very much enjoyed it. There are several breakfast/brunch options in the area but you won't regret giving Bluegrass a try.

i loved the atmosphere of this cozy and welcoming restaurant! the wait was kind of terrible, i'd estimate it was about 30+ minutes on a friday at 11 am. i didn't mind because i was hungry, but the line was going out the door! we finally got a place at a table with a couple who didn't mind us joining the table, and from there the food came out quickly and the service was great. i came to this place specifically because i heard they had a vegan option, that being the tofu hash. i liked that they had an option that i could eat and the hash was well-seasoned and packed with many vegetables. while i was only in town for the tourist-y things in the chattanooga area, i had a great time at the restaurant and would stop by again if i was around. definitely recommend!

Eggs Benedict on a homemade biscuit with home fries

I went on a Friday morning and it was almost full. Solo so you can sit at the counter if seats available, or they share tables with other parties. I would guess on the weekends there is a wait. For a small place they have a large menu. They make certain entrees their own - for example Eggs Benedict is served on a homemade biscuit rather than an English muffin. I chose that with home fries and it was delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

We came for Sunday brunch and were very impressed! I have been wanting to make it out and I am so happy we did! The food was so delicious! The service was also a 10/10! The restaurant was very clean, we will definitely be back!

You come in from outside and get right to the wait stand. They came up from the bar top to greet me and said I could sit anywhere. I ended up sitting at the bar top because all of the other seats were full. There are not more than maybe 15 or so areas to sit so it isn't super big. Brisket burnt end sausage was solid. They brought one sausage and it was butterfly down the middle, the taste was super flavorful and had just to write them on a saltiness to get you going as you dig into it. Buttermilk Pancakes from here we're really good and pretty big. It was only two of them but it felt like it was five! Denver omelette what's good. I have no complaints about it. It was cooked very well, and did not fall apart when I tried to get into it lol. Fancy bacon flight: Mixed berry was good, the tart and sweet combo to a science. 1st Thai plum was okay, it has more savory than it needed and was a little overpowered with salty and savory... More than usual bacon. 4th Orange was more salty but the aftertaste was 101% orange. It was pretty sticky so you will have to wipe your hands lol was decent though. Third Ranch was ranch lol it's what you would expect. You have had bacon on a salad so this was akin to that. 2nd I would definitely 100% suggest this place as someplace you stop off if you're needing breakfast or lunch. If you sit at the bar you will get a lot of conversation and they will talk to you and you have a good time as you wait for your food. The menu is pretty vast so you might have to go a couple of times to get a good grass of it but it was a really good experience.

    1. First timers, go in first and find the book to put your name on the list. 2. Come hungry. This area of Chatty has some amazing restaurants. We were advised to try this place from a waitress at Main Street Meats the night before - MSMs is not open for breakfast but EPIC and right down the street. Anyway - there was a wait on a Saturday at peak brunch time, but it moved quickly. Great advice from the waitress here that resulted in a "bacon flight" starter plate of Cajun candied bacon, blueberry and lemon bacon, nacho bacon, garlic parm bacon. All great. The garlic parm belongs on some pizza because it was so wonderful but our fav was the Cajun. Spices but not hot - was like candy! The Hubby order his brunch fav - French toast and their version is now in his top 5 of all time. I love Benedict, so I got that after the server confirmed it was good and it did NOT disappoint. Perfectly poached eggs and the sauce was yummy. They claim "the best biscuits" but they are different than your Granny makes. Good with the Benedict but def more of a wheat than white flour texture and taste. I enjoyed their take on a southern standard. The sweet tea was perfect and we had a wonderful time!

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Dogs aren't allowed inside unless they're service animals, but honestly, the outdoor space is where you want to be anyway. The patio is huge, with covered sections and outdoor heaters that kept us comfortable even when the weather turned rainy. We visited on a wet day and never felt like we were settling for "the dog section." The food was consistently excellent, and the happy hour menu made it an easy choice for a casual meal or drinks. My humans were happy with their food, and I was thrilled when they ordered me a side of chicken. It disappeared almost immediately, which I consider the highest possible review. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and relaxed. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor space feels welcoming rather than crowded. We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

When I asked about it, Liz, the sommelier, offered to open the bar for our group and proceeded to spend her evening making us drinks. Merry Christmas, indeed. Thanks for being so welcoming to my family. The hospitality here is truly second to none. On top of that, the quality and thoughtfulness of everything--the decor, the events, the menus, the amenities--everything here is so warm and wonderful. And how convenient that the House can be your office, your gym, your restaurant, your vacation resort and pool, and even your cozy reading nook. I thought it was a little silly when proximity to this cool-looking social club was a factor in choosing where to live when we moved to Chattanooga in 2024. In hindsight, that's turned out to be one of my best decisions.

My wife has a gluten and dairy allergy, and I've got a tree nut allergy, Alpha-Gal, plus a diabetes kicker. We're usually a solid test for any kitchen. Both visits, the staff passed. Knowledgeable, showed genuine concern, and were able to make accommodations without a lot of back-and-forth. Good selection on the menu meant we weren't working from a short list of options either. Food was good across both visits--consistent, which matters as much as a single great meal. My son particularly liked the Brunch Sausage Burger. Looked good, and seemed entirely appropriate after a late night. Large space, tables well spread out, and located not far from downtown. Easy place to settle in whether you're with a crowd or just the two of you. Good for: small kids, business meals, casual meals, groups Would come back. Already did once.

I have been to the Nashville Frothy Monkey years ago but I really enjoyed this one in Chattanooga. I had the maple chicken salad with a side of bacon and it was delicious. Chicken salad was not overpowering in mayonnaise. It was sweet and had enough flavor. I liked that they paired it with mutigrain bread and chips and salsa. I enjoyed my golden milk latte also. Our server was great and I forgot to ask her for her name. Definitely recommend this place.

Bowls, salads, drinks, desserts...such a gift to feel like you can indulge within your dietary limits. Plenty of great seating, including a nice outdoor area, and we've always had amazing service and care while dining there. Appreciate their wall of health items for purchase as well.

There are tons of vegan options, and you don't have to look too hard for gf options if that's your jam. The store itself is packed with amazing health food items like mushroom coffee, shilajit, matcha, electrolytes, and so much more. They also have a refrigerated grab-and-go section with fresh juices, rice paper rolls, chia seed pudding, and a lentil casserole. The glass dessert case is full of vegan treats like peanut butter and chocolate cups, bliss balls, and donuts. The menu is extensive with tons of great organic vegan options. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough (they also offer gluten-free and multigrain) with cashew cheese and a side of chili. I also got a beet juice, a lemon lavender muffin, chia seed pudding, and a decaf oat milk latte. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread seemed really fresh and I enjoyed the cashew cheese. The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients. Honestly, it's just so nice knowing your food has no weird ingredients and everything is organic! The only downside was the coffee. Honestly, it was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Maybe it was just an off day or a mistake, I'm not sure. Everything else was good though! I would definitely recommend this spot. The decor is really cute and inviting. I love that they offer plenty of seating options too -- indoor, an enclosed outdoor patio, and an exterior exposed patio. Logistical Notes: Parking was super easy with a lot right out front. There are two accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities, and I love that they have a gender-inclusive restroom as well. You order at the register, they bring you your food, and then you bus your own "tray."
