DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE. I ordered a cheese and tomato jaffle (toasted sandwich) to-go today from the Studio City location. As an Aussie, I expected a toasted sandwich from an Aussie cafe, but I was deeply dissatisfied with my order. Honestly, it felt like a joke. Especially since it took like 15 minutes for them to "make" my jaffle. While other people who had ordered after me were receiving their drinks and food, I was still waiting. Not sure what happened there. Okay, so I leave and open my to-go box: The bread was not toasted. The cheese was not melted. The tomato was only on one side. It also had a ton of mayo and was inedible. Had to throw it out. I've attached photos. I contacted Bluestone, and they responded with "sorry that our food didn't meet your expectations." Bluestone Lane is such a sweet and welcoming place. I just walked in yesterday to enjoy a late lunch and watch the rain. Drake was behind the counter, and he's just fantastic. He made me an absolutely delicious egg, cheese, and avocado sandwich on multigrain bread. Their espresso in their lattes is deep and rich. Atmosphere is friendly and gentle. Bluestone Lane is not only a fantastic spot to get some work done and study at a cafe, but it is also a wonderful place to enjoy some delicious food and snacks outdoors or indoors! We got some relatively basic lattes--the milo and iced chai with almond milk--nothing that really is memorable but gets the job done with a nice, cooling refresher. What stands out to me about Bluestone Lane the most are how exuberantly colored it is with many shades of blue and green, their very cushy, cozy couch near the entrance and the incredibly friendly service and comforting atmosphere. We were there for a few hours working on our laptops and the barista offered our dog some water, gushed a bit over how cute she is, and made sure that our experience was the best. We also moved to the cushion at some point in our visit--honestly, it elevates EVERYTHING because it's perfect for sitting down for longer periods of time. I appreciate that it doesn't get too packed inside because it's not a huge space. It would be amazing if they offered more options here as I would LOVE to try their collab and seasonal lattes! read more

I was soo excited to find out that they had a bluestone lane outside of OC...i come in attempting to order what i use to order, but they didnt serve it. Only reason why I gave it 4 star review. I didnt realize its different in each location. Turns out the one in OC location in orange is the cafe and this one isnt. Luckily they still have the beet latte. Friendly staff. Good for a quickie coffee run. Plenty of metered parking before 10 am. Not a lot of indoor or outdoor seating. I haven't been here in a while and was disappointed in some of the changes. The toasts are a lot smaller and not nearly as good. The customer service was good but not excellent how it used to. Cute spot, but the food was honestly terrible I really wanted to like Bluestone Lane, especially because the space is super cute and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. My fiancé and I came here for brunch on a Saturday morning after finding it on Yelp, and unfortunately, the experience went downhill fast once the food arrived. We ordered a wrap that was honestly one of the worst things I've ever eaten. It was mushy, unappetizing, and had such an odd taste that I couldn't even describe it--it actually made me feel nauseous. We also tried a salad, and everything in it was completely soggy. I didn't even use their dressing because it didn't look appealing, so I used my own olive oil and balsamic--and it still wasn't good. On top of that, I ordered a smoothie that tasted extremely watered down and totally flavorless. It was really disappointing. To be completely honest, I ended up having a pretty bad stomach issue afterward, which made the experience even worse. It honestly feels like more effort (and money) was put into the aesthetic and decor than into the actual quality of the food, which is such a disappointment. The only positive thing I can say is that their chai tea was actually really good. So maybe this is a decent place to grab a coffee, tea, or latte--but I would definitely not recommend eating here. Very to the point type of coffee. I got the Aussie latte which is basically coffee with ice cream. They need actual straws though because that paper straw didn't last a chance in that cup of coffee. The coffee was good I enjoyed the high quality beans. Seemed like their food was popular too but very simple menu. Very easily made at home type of food. The service was wonderful. I've been a customer since when they first opened and everything was really delicious at first, The last two times I've ordered the food hasn't been good, it's arrived cold & today I ordered a coffee for about 10 dollars - and they forgot to add the vanilla to it. Lovely coffee shop! Clean, chill and the barista who helped me was honest and nice about introducing me to their coffees since it was my first time. I eventually got their current popular Djerf Iced Vanilla Latte. I enjoyed it but next time I'm getting the iced Australian latte which comes with icecream as opposed to milk or sugar so that's what makes it sweet I think. Don't remember exactly but sounded different and good. Parking can be an hassle since it's in Studio City on Ventura. I will begin by saying the food and the service were incredible. The girls inside were attentive and so incredibly kind. However, there is absolutely NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THERE. It's a small store and these poor girls only have one or two little fans that are just pushing hot air around in there. To have no air conditioning in Southern California, where it's in the 90s in February/March, is unacceptable. The girls are good sports about it, but you can see they are visibly red and sweating in there. I was only in there for maybe 20 minutes while I enjoyed my toast and smoothie, and I couldn't bear to sit there for longer. The management at this establishment need to do something about that before those poor girls get heat exhaustion or something. read more

I live a five minute walk away and have ordered here many mornings hoping for a quick morning coffee. I order an iced long black and have never not waited at least 40 minutes for my order. I wondered why, so one day while waiting past the 25 minute mark for my single drink I decided to go in and pick it up myself and see what the busiest cafe on earth looked like. Only to find a nearly empty space with three employees and my drink just sitting there on the counter, not marked as ready and showing in the app as "being prepared" as it had been for 15 minutes. These kids are making coffee, setting it on the counter and not marking in app that the items are ready.....so they sit there...forever...and then you get melted iced coffee or cold hot coffee. Not good. Not worth it. I stopped ordering here and you shouldn't bother starting. read more

YES YES YES, a thousand times YES. I love Bluestone Lane, no matter how far I am, I will make the drive here to get their delicious coffee. My go-to coffee order is an Iced Vanilla Latte with whole milk and extra vanilla. They've mastered this. Today I was helped by Bella and John who did a spot on fantastic job. Not only was my coffee perfect, they taught and advised me on which beans to buy to make my coffee at home as well. They made my coffee run today extra memorable, I hope they're work on days I always stop by. Thank you guys so much for your help today and for keeping good conversation until my friend arrived. Aside from the quality and taste of food/drinks, I give them a solid 5 out of 5 for hospitality and customer service. The ambiance is pretty chill, there is seating indoors and outdoors. They are located on Ventura Blvd so parking is located on the street/ is metered literally all around. I genuinely had an amazing coffee break today and will definitely will be back. Located in the heart of Studio City, Bluestone Lane has the perfect spot nestled amongst popular shops and restaurants. We were able to find parking nearby (lots of street parking and there's a couple lots within walking distance as well). I ordered the an iced matcha latte with oat milk and the Sunshine Burrito (which was on the smaller side, but didn't mind). My friends ordered the Berry Brekkie Smoothie and the Bacon Egg & Cheese on a croissant. Everything tasted good and the food was made to order, not pulled out of a plastic bag and reheated like some coffee chains. The staff were nice. AMAZING PLACE & PEOPLE. HORRIBLE COMPANY/WORK CONDITIONS FOR STAFF PLEASE READ - I cannot say enough how truly amazing the coffee is at BSL!! It's some of the absolute best in the valley and every single person you meet who works there is just beyond lovely. My daughter and I visit almost daily but only in the last few months. But it took maybe two to three times of going for all of them to know us by name and our drink order and it's honestly the highlight of our day to visit and get our latte's. This review is in the hopes of getting someone's - anyone's attention at this company. These poor girls who work so hard at this location do so with the absolute worst working conditions. They have been without AC for as long as we've been going and other customers tell us it's been since last year. It's been 100 degrees here in the valley and these lovely people are sweating and panting and have red flushed faces and are still trying their best to make all food and drinks with care and professionalism when their work conditions are unsafe, unsanitary and unfair. After experiencing this for a few days I took it upon myself to try to call corporate and let them know. GOOD LUCK. no phone numbers anywhere to be found for the individual stores (it's just recordings) and the one email they list on their website has been unsuccessful as I've tried to email twice and gotten no response. I am just so frustrated for their staff who work tirelessly to make everyone's experience there fantastic all while suffering horribly. So many of us regular customers continue to ask if anyone from their team or corporate or the building management has made any effort to fix the problem and they are too even kind and professional to answer or bash the people they work for when they all would be well within their right to. They all just smile and say they hope for the best but it's infuriating spending money like I do at this place and giving it to a company who cares so little for their employees. I hate to write a bad review of this place because it absolutely is worth going to for the best coffee and pastry's and staff. I really hoped that maybe by writing this it would get the attention of someone who could step in and make the work conditions (and customer conditions to be honest) safe and comfortable. I work down the street & I walk here, passing two other coffee shops, to get my coffee everyday. The staff are elite! From John, Drake, Kalup, etc...everyone is super kind, friendly & genuine!! I feel legit hosted whenever I come in, which you can't often say about a lot of places. Their coffee is fire! They have really good espresso, so I often get a straight quad-shot to enjoy the beans. I frequent their cold brew, as well. Also, at least a couple of their staff went to culinary school, so their food items are immaculate! Service is very subpar now and for the price point of this place it's not cool (prob gonna stop coming here or come a lot less *sad face* this was def one of my top coffee places). |[ t h e h i c c u p ]| Ordered for pickup today and I was utterly shocked.. not only were the toasts significant smaller than usual but they didn't add the poached egg for the avo toast I ordered although they charged for it (and it's not cheap it's $2+ to add an egg). The sticker even said poached egg on it and it did not have the poached egg. Our salmon toast was so sloppy half the salmon was off the toast lol. |[ u n r e a c h a b l e ]| I wouldn't have been as flustered if I was able to remedy this remotely (by getting credit for the missing thing) but-- they do not accept phone calls so the only way is to come back in person (I should've double checked the order upon picking up but they have never messed it up before). So I drove all the way back. Their excuse was that they ran out of the add on earlier but forgot to tell me (seriously?) and that certain parts of the bread loaf are smaller so no guarantees on the size (this one is more understandable I guess but prob not gonna get toast here anymore)... if I'm paying 10$+ for a toast I expect a consistent and acceptable size (both my toasts were like 40% smaller than usual, they were tiny!). :( |[ o u t c o m e ]| I remedied this through the app I ordered from but I am disappointed w the experience because this place isn't cheap and it was very inconvenient to fix THEIR mistake. It was my first time here and it was super disappointing. Regular size was "smaller" than a Starbucks grande, I tried 'iced Magic' and it tasted like coffee and WATER and a bunch of ice. I get it that prices have risen but a cup size that small and mostly ice and bad coffee and charged $7- no thank you. I tried the Avocado toast (most basic on the menu) again disappointing. Literally the size of a regular bread for sandwiches, again I get it. But if I'm doing to a restaurant/cafe, I'm expecting something different from homemade food style. I could have just made the toast myself at home and saved $10. Overall choices on menu were disappointing, but service was good. The baristas were patient and informative when my sisters and I asked questions regarding items on the menu.
