I'm not a big coffee person but once I saw the Philz fall flavors, I knew I needed to try the Pecan Pie Cold Brew! Walking in, the environment was that of a classic coffee shop. It was clean, quiet, and not packed at all. I came in pretty early before work, so it was a very relaxed environment. The staff took my order nicely, promptly, and answered my questions. I was a bit worried about it being a bit too sweet, so the barista explained their different options to me (creaminess levels, sugar levels). I ended up getting light sweet and light creamy. Let me tell you, it was so good! I've been looking for a coffee option that has a nice nutty element to it and isn't too sweet. The pecan pie cold brew was perfect and satisfied that urge. I mean.... I really can't complain at all. Philz is a must-visit for me whenever I am visiting from out of state, and this location did not disappoint. The shop itself is stunning, and we were able to find street parking on a Sunday morning. I could definitely see that might be an issue, but I think we were lucky! My go-to is the mission cold brew, light cream and light sweet. The perfect, light, caffeine fix. I also got the coffee cake/cinnamon crumb cake for a little brunch bite and it was deliciously moist (which tends to be my issue with other coffee cakes - i.e. dryness). The service was pretty quick for a Philz, which I have found myself waiting a little bit for at other locations, but have come to expect. Coffee is bold, sweet, and creamy just the way I like my coffee. They always make it fresh as soon as customers order their drinks. I think that is why I like my coffee here. It is freshly made! I occasionally come here when I'm in Studio City to get my coffee fix, meet up with colleagues, and just enjoy a nice cup of Mint Mojito and I normally dislike mint flavored foods. I get it served ice and the mint garnish is a wonderful touch, and freshly made! Service is average to slow no matter the times I come. There's usually other customers, like at least 4-6 people waiting ahead of me for their drinks. Always. I like the seating at the long tables. It's spacious. Free WiFi is always nice though the wifi can be spotty from my experience:( Parking can be frustrating. I wish Philz changes their cup sizes to be larger. The regular cup size is small for my liking. I had a good experience here. I've only briefly been to another Philz location. Came here late afternoon for a pick-me-up and to get some work done, and their coffee definitely got the job done. Staff was kind and super helpful, I wasn't sure what I wanted off the menu so I just told her what type of flavors I usually like and she just made one just like that, it was delicious! Good environment to get laptop work done too and they are open until 7:30 which is great. TLDR: Ordered: Iced Mint Mojito 5/5 I don't know what they put in this drink but oh my god it is delicious. Warning: if you don't like mint in any capacity then don't go for it. Its not that its aggressively mint forward but its obviously there so keep that in mind. Otherwise, its almost hard to describe what it is. Its like if a mocha was a cold brew?? There are nodes of chocolate?? I'm not a coffee connoisseur to figure out how they made this be so good but asking for sweet and creamy (also used oat milk instead) made it just the perfect amount of sweetness. I fear I want no other coffee drink now if not this. The place is very cute and spacious. the staff were wonderful. More seating options inside than outside. Philz is pretty good for being in the area. Theres a ton of competition but they do stand out. I really like that their drinks are not only caffeinated but they are also SO refreshing. The food is also pretty tasty. I would come here to study or for a few hours to work remotely. It's pretty crowded most of the time so if you have a demanding job, I wouldn't set up shop for the afternoon. It's casual and pleasant. The workers are all so chill and honestly I am not sure why I haven't learned any of their names yet. a great Philz location! I've been here a few times and every time the customer service has been really great! The drinks are consistent and made with care by the baristas. My go to is an Iced Honey Haze and it hits every time! There is indoor and outdoor seating if you want to hang out at the cafe. This past time the barista taking our order gave my sister great recommendations on what drink to get based on her preferences and we really appreciated their attention to making her experience great vs. just moving through customers. It's those extra few seconds that just really make a difference in your experience sometimes! Attention to detail here is top notch! The only thing I dislike about this location is the stress of parking since the area is always so busy. First timer here and I'd like to say the customer service was good plus the space was very clean. Very spacious to have coffee dates or get some work done. I tried the iced coffee rose, I'd give it 8/10. I prefer sweeter drinks personally so maybe I'll try their banana one next time. I was so excited to pick up my TooGoodToGo order today, I was looking forward to enjoying those delicious pastries I got the last time but sadly when I arrived, there was nothing left. While that's actually good for the store, that means there was nothing left to throw away and nothing was wasted. However for me on the other hand, it meant that my order was cancelled and there was nothing left for me to purchase. They saw I was so bummed about it but I didn't want to make a fuss because after all she did refund my order. Then something amazing happened, as I was leaving the store and telling them I would try again another day - Helisa told Matt, the nice gentleman that was helping me, to offer me a coffee but I am not a coffee drinker. She then came from behind the counter (because the store was closing and she was cleaning up) and asked if there was anything else I might want and at that moment I remembered that I really enjoyed the everything bagel and guess what?? She just so happened to have some that were set to be sold the next day! but she gave me a small bag and then asked if I liked tea and tea is my favorite so she made me one with fresh mint sprigs! Boy was I happy camper! Every time I come here, I have a great experience because they have great customer service. Even after a long day, these people are still kind and thoughtful and courteous to all their customers. Even as I walked out, another employee held the door open for me and wished me a good night. A light cream light sweet Philtered Soul for a weekday afternoon pick me up? Yes! The drink was the perfect amount of sweet and bold and hot enough to double-cup to keep your hands warm on cold day. Parking here is plentiful, with meters closeby. If you don't mind the walk across the street or from the residential streets, though, then it's free! The interior was well decorated for the holidays and also fairly lit with a relaxing vibe. Like most Philz Coffee locations, the background music is on the slightly louder side, so make sure to bring a good pair of headphones if your intent is to work. The staff? The best part Not sure if I avoided the craziness, but here were no lines, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming - even checked that my drink was perfect from when I picked it up. read more

Amazing coffee spot overall. Amazing and friendly service, clean facility, delicious drinks. I tried the tiramisu latte for the first time and it was perfect- not too sweet or harsh tasting at all. The baristas were very friendly, including Aaron and Matt who were talkative and helpful. The only issue is difficulty finding ample parking, especially during rush hours. We came here on a weekday and there was a small line. I ordered the Philz Iced tea. Coming from Texas, we take our iced tea pretty seriously and this tea did not disappoint. It was pretty good and not watered down. My family all got coffee and they said it was pretty good. Next time I come here I want to order coffee instead of tea. The coffee shop itself was super busy and loud-I definitely wouldn't come here if I was WFH. Since it was busy, it was a little hard to find an empty table. Some of the best drip coffee ive had. Each cup is crafted individually and they use heavy whipping cream. (YUM) Lots of great roasts to choose from! I see a few complaints about speed. If you want a mediocre (at best) fast cup of coffee that's mass produced and poured from a jug, this is not your place. Staff is lovely and have always been friendly to me. BACK PARKING LOT GUY. Not my fave. I normally just get coffee to go but yesterday I met a friend. Pulled in the lot with nobody to be seen. Came out 30 minutes later a Car was parked inches from my bumper blocking me in. Again, I couldn't find anyone. Finally he comes walking over. I ask did you block me in, to which he replies "No. IM just double parked". (Literally an empty parking lot lol) He then says I have to pay him $5 instead of $3 because I didn't let him park my car! HE was simply abrasive during the whole encounter. this is my closest Philz spot and its one of the first places I drop by in when I'm back home. It's located on the very busy street of Ventura Blvd and honestly its biggest drawback is its location as parking can be incredibly challenging. They do not have a parking lot so you will have to attempt to find street parking which can be a nigh impossible depending on the time of day you go. Metered same street parking is available but frequently full. The side street directly to the right after the shop as well as the street behind the shop are by apartments and therefore that parking is also impacted. All that said, I've never had a bad experience at this location, the employees are polite and the service has always been quick. Iced coffee rosé 5/5, I get this extra sweet and extra creamy as I do not personally enjoy the taste of coffee (sorry!) but this is a very sweet rose flavored coffee (that when made extra sweet and creamy does not taste of coffee). My favorite to order from here. Iced coffee mint 3/5, okay so this didn't work for me because though the strong mint though makes up the majority of the flavor profile, I could still taste coffee underneath and the combination of mint and coffee reminded me too much of an Irish Coffee for me to enjoy it twice Almond croissant 4.5/5, a solid ratio of almond paste to bread, soft and flaky. definitely warm it up! read more

It was my first time being there, therefore, I asked a bunch of questions till I figured out what I wanted. Ended up getting the ginger snap and let me just say - it tasted like Christmas. I love love love this location!!! The baristas here are so nice and so pleasant. Every time I come here one of the Baristas will remember me and always greet me and treat me so well. They really make me feel welcome and they all make sure that I'm happy with my drink. Once made they will always say try it and let me know. I love this and I just love this location. Their drinks are always consistent and I usually come solo or with my friend and they always treat us good. The only con is parking the parking is limited and the back is paid parking they have this parking attendant in the back which is not Philz issue but the parking attendant in the back is annoying as heck and will hound you for $2 to park there if more than 10mins. My favorite spot for a Mint Mojito or a Rosé all day. I definitely need to try their other drinks sometime. I highly recommend Philz. Great coffee read more

I absolutely LOVE Philz!! It's always a bit of a drive but whenever we're in Glendale, we have to make a stop. Problem is, the line is always crazy long and wait time can be pretty bad. We finally checked out this location and was a little annoyed by the "valet only" parking. It's along Ventura so you're lucky to even find meter/street parking. We turned into the side of the building to follow the sign that said Philz parking in the back, only to come across a valet guy.. kind of annoying that they don't tell you before you turn in because then you're forced to drive through. We drove through and exited, found parking about 2 blocks down. Walk wasn't bad at all, just frustrating and luckily wasn't as busy. We walked in and not surprised, it was busy! Line was basically out the door. So many people with cute doggos as well! Nice to know this is a pet friendly cafe. We got in line and it went by pretty quickly! Took about less than 10 minutes till we finally got to the front of the line. MUCH quicker than the Glendale location and they had less workers! I ordered my usual, Iced Philtered Soul which is hazelnut flavored and got it sweet n creamy (must)!! I love the flavor of this latte. It was my first choice when I first tried Philz and haven't tried anything else because this is pure perfection. We waited a few minutes and the drink came out soon after. This was the fastest Philz Coffee service I've ever had LOL. This location is also much bigger than the other one and way nicer. Workers are just as friendly! Love that they don't close the lid for you and make sure to ask you to try it before you go so that they can make adjustments if needed. My husband and I prefer to make coffee and home but I decided to order something for us for an early morning treat. I decided to go with the mint mojito iced coffee, which I've tried in the past and liked, and the iced ginger snap coffee. Mint doesn't seem like it belongs in coffee but somehow it works in the mint mojito. It's not overly minty but just adds a slight refreshing minty flavor to your iced coffee. As other reviews have mentioned, if you don't like mint, this drink isn't for you. This was my first time trying the ginger snap iced coffee and I think I prefer it over the mint. I personally love horchata and pumpkin spice iced lattes, so this seemed like it would have a similar flavor profile - warm and cinnamon-y. It wasn't overly spicy and had a really delicate but pleasant flavor. With both drinks, I did creamy cream and light sugar, as I like my coffee creamy but not overly sweet - and the sweetness was perfect, in my opinion. I also appreciate that they added a generous amount of ice, which is needed in an iced coffee, and it didn't melt right away. Overall, unique flavors and delicious coffee drinks. read more
