They skimp on the lobster. Someone dropped a silverware set by the hostess stand and it was there around 10 minutes before someone picked it up. Several almost stepped on it. The best Bluewater grill! This restaurant deserves a 10 star review for service, views and food. I have been to a few other Bluewater grill restaurants and this one is in a class all their own. They know how to treat a customer! Their location provides you with a breathtaking view of the ocean and easy to find. You will find staff cleaning the tables and vacuuming the floor. The tables are spotless. Our hostess was friendly and seated us in less than 5 minutes. Our server brought out water for us and took our drink order. She made some great recommendations and was happy to answer questions about their menu. She brought out some soft, hot bread with some butter. So good. We started off with the steamed mussels. It's light and one of my faves. It's steamed in a garlic butter sauce that you can also use for your bread. I ordered the salmon. Wow! It was the best! It wasn't dry or undercooked. It was just right. The sides were also quite delicious. Order the salmon! You won't be sorry. Our beverages were refilled regularly which is nice. Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant located right on beach. Making a reservation was easy and our table was ready for us when we arrived. We sat upstairs which are probably the best seats in the restaurant- you're in full view of the harbor. The clam chowder was maybe one of the best I've tried! Just the right creaminess, full of clams, and had a ton of flavor. We thought the calamari was so-so. The paella was really yummy and had tons of seafood- worth the price. Huge tip - Make a reservation for the patio on the top floor on Open Table. Incredible ocean view! Lots of cool bar seating up there too. Also a BIG horseshoe shaped bar on the bottom level that would be fun to sit at. There are three levels and there is an elevator for people who prefer a ride. The ceviche appetizer is sooo good! The grilled octopus was good, but they don't give you much of it. There were two short pieces. The rest of that dish is filled out with finger potatoes and disguised with sauce. I can't believe this place has any stars. Everything we ordered came out luke warm at best with 0 flavor and hardly edible. The calamari was rubbery and discolored. The clam chowder was not good. The chicken had no flavor. The drinks were basic. The artichoke dip was thick as paste I wouldn't touch it with a 6 ft pole. But what really crossed the line was the ant infestation where we were sitting. and by where we were sitting I mean right by our butts and my hair! We sat there for about 30 minutes and had just got our gross food before we even realized we were sitting in the middle of an ant infestation! Pics provided. We immediately notified the server. She was apologetic and said she notified the manager but still charged the full amount of the check. So I asked for the manager. The manager came over and apologized again and said she would take care of the check. Turns out by "take care of it" she meant give me a few bucks off. She came back and had removed $30 from our $120 bill. So we ended up paying $90 for ants and a few sips of our drinks. We immediately gathered our things and left. On the way out I saw a bowl of mints. I figured the least I could get from this place was some mints. WRONG AGAIN. Even the hard mints were chewy! Which means they're old af. Because of the number of stars this restaurant has, I'm trying not to take my service and food personally but I can't imagine how anyone could give this place more than two stars. I'd give it zero stars if I could because of the ants. If we didn't have ants, I would give it two stars for the food. Don't ever ever ever eat here. From there, we were seated upstairs. The outside was dirty, trash on the ground and bird poop on the railings next to my seat. Opened the menu and it was sticky to the touch. The food was not much better. The tacos were decent, but the sushi and tuna were bland, with avocado that was clearly unripe and difficult to chew. At least I could wash it down with my Diet Coke that was flat. Now, I don't say all this to be a Karen, just so whoever is reading this can choose to go somewhere else, and not a tourist trap with a fancy name. read more

You also cannot miss them because they are built like a lighthouse. Parking: There is a parking lot behind them or street parking which wasn't too bad. My family came here on a weekend with no reservation. Our said wait time was 40-45 mins but ended up only wait for 20-25 mins. Food: Delicious! We ordered: - Misoyaki Butterfish, Black Cod (Fish was cooked thoroughly, the miso sauce was a great addition and def added a sweet flavor to the fish. The coconut rice had a hint of coconut, the rice itself was thick, but I liked it!) - Sauteed Sanddabs (This one was just a-okay. It was too soft for my liking. The scalloped potatoes were good though.) - Black & Blue Ahi Tuna (A MUST GET - TRUST!!!) - Fisherman's Platter (Salty fries but just right every thing else!) - Angus Cheeseburger (Salty fries but juicy burger! "It hit the spot" - my dad) Unfortunately, my family and I were NOT served the complimentary bread. Service: Our waitress did not fit the beach vibes. She looked so unhappy and not wanting to help us. She gave off this pretty snobby personality and looked annoyed at any questions/ concerns my parents had. Did I mention she didn't even offer or bring US bread? Other tables were receiving it but we didn't even notice until we were done. I can't even remember if she even check in on us if our food was okay. Towards the end of our early dinner, my parents finally got ahold of a server and was nice enough to give us bread and less salty fries. When he delivered it to our table, the female waitress looked confused and upset. She had that "Why are you doing that" look.
