We live around the corner and this is our go to sushi spot. We ordered takeout once and we liked it so we decided to go sit down and we discovered they have all you can eat sushi! Also the server was super nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back again!

What a find! Tucked away in a very unassuming plaza, this place is a gem! Definitely worth the AYCE price! Fresh and delicious sushi items and rolls, amazing soft shell crab tempura and plenty of other options for salads and cooked foods! Will definitely be back when in the area!

The restaurant was located in a plaza. There wasn't a lot of parking for the number of businesses in the plaza, but we didn't have a hard time finding parking. Came during a weekend night. The place wasn't packed, but did get full as the night progressed. They have a self served water and miso station. The miso soup was very bland and did not taste good at all. You order with the tablet on the table. They were very strict with the 90 minutes dining limit. You can't order once the 90 minutes were up. We like that there wasn't a limit on ordering carpaccio. Unfortunately, none of the items we ordered tasted fresh. The rice was dry. The no rice rolls had too much fillers. The sashimi salad included only one piece of tuna and one piece of salmon. We didn't leave full. We did not like the food and wanted to leave. It's a cheap AYCE sushi restaurant at $33.99 a person, but don't expect fresh. Will not be returning.

Awesome service and great food! Menu has a lot of options for AYCE. My girlfriends and I found this place after we visited the botanical gardens. Sushi and soft shell crab varieties were delicious! Will definitely come back with the rest of the family.

Finally got to try it this place. It's located in a small plaza so the parking situation can be tricky on a busy day. I thought the place would be bigger but it's a decent size and had a secluded section with a round table for a bigger group of people. I love that you get the option of AYCE or aa la carte orders. The price range for the AYCE is good depending on the amount of food that you know you can eat. We tried the chicken karaage, takoyaki, and fried gyoza along with several of the sushi variety and the carpaccio variety which all tasted great and were of good quality. The yakisoba was alright. You can skip the miso soup. The server was courteous and quick to respond and the folks prepping the orders were really quick. Will definitely be back. What to expect: If you're doing the AYCE, there is a 10 minute interval between each order, so it's best to have everyone in your party select their order before placing it. There is also an added fee if you don't finish your order. Gratuity (Service Charge of receipt) is included for parties of five or more.

For the price and quality of AYCE, I would give this place 5 stars! We always order nigiri, carpaccio, rolls, and soft shell crab. The crab is usually the only app that we order so I can't review the other apps. I love the raw shrimp nigiri! If you're not a super big eater, I recommend you come in a party of 4 because the rolls usually come with 4 pieces. So if there are 4 people, you can try more varieties of roll and only need to eat one piece of each. I like doing this to be able to try more things! You order off an iPad and you have to wait 10 minutes between orders. The time passes very fast so it's not a problem. Also the food comes very fast, even when the restaurant is full! Just like most other AYCE sushi places, they will charge for excessive leftover food/rice.

Prior to having a child, I remember a friend of mine telling me that kids sometimes appreciate small acts over grandiose ones. At the time, I can recall thinking, "maybe YOUR child does, but mine will definitely appreciate grand experiences." Therefore, I was shocked when my son showed little interest in going on a family trip to Japan, but instead mentioned wanting to try a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. Ironically, we had a family trip planned to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving weekend. After doing a quick Yelp search, I found a sushi restaurant called Blufish Sushi & Grill that had almost perfect reviews. As you can imagine, there are lots of sushi restaurants available in the Los Angeles area; however, Blufish stood out to me for their selection and proximity to our Airbnb. Also, I have to add that the establishment offers an all-you-can-eat option which is very helpful considering the costs of individual sushi rolls. With empty bellies, we made the small journey to the establishment. Upon entering we were greeted by an employee who seated us in the near-empty (at the time) restaurant. We informed her that the three of us would be taking advantage of the $33.99 (Friday-Sunday) all-you-can-eat special. She advised us that the special included everything on the menu except drinks and showed us how to use the on-table tablet to place orders. Also, she mentioned that you have to wait at least 10 minutes before placing another order, we had a total of 90 minutes to utilize the special, and that there is a fee for any unfinished food. The turnaround time from placing the order to receiving it was extremely quick! As we shared the variety of rolls that we ordered, we bonded over conversation regarding our favorite rolls. My son was extremely happy (he loves Asian food) and even convinced my wife and I to try something that we never thought we would...Salmon Egg Sushi! We enjoyed the overall experience and food, thank you Blufish Sushi & Grill!

This was a weekday dinner treat. I must say it was better than I expected. The service was great and attentive. It wasn't too crowded. Everything ordered was delicious from the sushi, sashimi, teriyaki chicken and miso soup. It was filling and the quality of the sushi was wonderful. Ambiance was totally relaxing!

I'm always down for AYCE sushi and especially one that's decently priced. It's located in kind of an older plaza with tight parking and the inside of the restaurant is not what I expected - it's dimly lit with cozy vibes. There's an iPad at every table for you to order on demand - this makes the ordering process super easy with photos for you to see. We came for a weekday lunch and it was pretty empty. As always at any AYCE spot, we always order with our eyes and left super stuffed. In terms of the quality of the fish, it was decent. Be sure to order the premium items (toro, uni, etc...) to maximize the value. You can never go wrong with salmon or tuna. Overall, it was decent, nothing spectacular. I'll continue my hunt for my go-to AYCE sushi spot in the South Bay.

Soft shell crab
Ron C.

One of the best AYCE in town. Every dish we ordered was great... Nigiri, handroll, appetizers, sashimi... Highly recommended, soft shell crab, baked mussels, tuna/spicy tuna no rice roll.

Rhona C.

Tried a couple of new sushi dishes. Service was not bad, but it gets really busy so dont expect a fast service. It acceptable though. The ambiance was also ok. Some background music, gets a bit loud from customers over talking one another. The miso soup is not my fav. It's like it's watered down. But I don't go there for that so it doesn't matter to me.

Thin.......ugly slice of tuna!

Food is ok, not worth $30 for lunch with this kinds of quality, not sure it's the chef or the fish. The cut is just so sad....... Sever sneezes multiple times without cover his mouth ....yuck!! Won't be back!

Consistently good experiences! I've been here several times and I've always had good experiences each time. The food is good and the fish is good quality? Which is surprising even for their all you can eat menu. The service is also great! The waiters have always been friendly, thorough with their explanations and what to expect. It's a dark restaurant on the inside so expect a somewhat private ambiance but it can get somewhat loud depending on how busy they are. They also accommodate for groups (I've usually gone in groups of 6-10) which is a plus! I will say one gripe is the parking lot, it's definitely not low car friendly. The driveway entrances aren't the best and the lot itself is full of potholes and has been for years. If you drive a lowered car, park towards the other end of the lot and save your peace. Overall, great food and great service. Will gladly keep coming back!

Today we decided to revisit the restaurant for old time's sake. Inside, the main wall was repainted with a new mural. The annual LA Marathon posters, pinned by the staff who participated in the events, were also gone. Nonetheless, it retained its traditional izakaya décor with its counter seating alongside some regular tables. The staff were all new but still very courteous and brought the menu and water right away. New items were added but the core dishes remained the same. For this visit, we ordered our regular items and they arrived in 10 minutes: Eboshi Mini Trio with Shio Ramen, Fried Rice and Gyoza: The fried rice was still top notch, with slightly firm texture, not too oily, and pleasantly seasoned. The Shio Ramen with its clear broth was nicely savory. The thin noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu pieces were tender. To complement the set, the gyozas with their delicate wraps had nicely burnt bottoms, and flavorful fillings. Champon Ramen: A complex ramen with an assortment of meat, veggies and seafood. There were sliced pork pieces, shrimps, squids, cabbage, onions, snow peas and many more. The clear broth was quite savory and enriched by oil from sauteed ingredients. The noodles had a very nice texture and were a tad al dente. We were amazed that after all these years, the restaurant retained its original taste and flavor. We found out the reason why while exiting the restaurant: The young cook from two decades ago is now running the open kitchen as head chef. Great food and still reasonable prices. It was totally worth revisiting.
