Heard this restaurant opened about 4 months ago and people on social media ranted about how good their food is. Discovered they put Dodgers mural on their wall. Had to check it out. Food is really good. They have a rice and no rice sushi menu with a creative spin on some of the dishes. Hosts and hostesses are always checking on you to top off drinks and ask if you need anything else.

No wait on a Sunday evening so that was first good note~ the restaurant is super clean and welcoming. Staff were welcoming and friendly. All the food we got was delicious, only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the crispy rice part of the spicy tuna crispy rice as it was a little too hard/kinda chewy. But all the rolls were perfect and the sashimi was so fresh and delicious.

Chef made complimentary shrimp "bunnies" for the kids and brought them out himself. Service was above and beyond!

Service: warm, fast, friendly, efficient! Perfection! Atmosphere: clean, polished, and cozy, with warm lighting, good music (all the fun, pop/alt hits), and baseball playing on the TV. Food: 11/10 everything we ordered was delicious, my favorite is the Salmon Ponzu. I could probably sit there and eat three orders of just that. The chef came out and gave my sons these cute little shrimp bunnies. It was very sweet of him and my 3 year old is now a huge fan of the chef. He kept saying how much he liked the chef, it was very cute. An amazing experience overall-we are so happy to have a new and delicious local Sushi spot!

Great first experience here. I pass by all the time and honestly never noticed this location because it is tucked next to a residential building. But you can spot it with a beautiful mural right outside. Food was delicious and service was very nice. It was my friend's birthday and we were complemented a green tea ice cream with sprinkles and a candle.

This place is a NEW hidden gem--literally! Keep your eyes peeled or you'll drive right past it. I'm so glad I stopped in; the sushi combo was absolutely incredible. The menu is packed with options without being overwhelming, and honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you order. Do yourself a favor and check it out--you won't be disappointed! ****see picture attached****

Went with my girlfriend to see the new Dodgers mural and try their food, it was super delicious! Our fav was most definitely Midnight Roll and both had miso soup has a mandatory staple. We were the first ones for dinner service at 5pm and the food came out reasonably quick (we were the only ones at the time anyways). Smallish parking lot so be weary

new establishment after ueno sushi!! my mom and i visited after seeing that there was a new restaurant at our old sushi place; so glad we checked it out. the place is SO clean and the interior is so cute :') there's parking attached to the establishment!! the server was so nice and checked in with us multiple times to ensure that everything was taken care of. the food was SOO delicious. the prices are cheap but the quality is GOOD! was honestly so so surprised. they have really good lunch and dinner specials. i got the kin lunch set and my mom got the mama san set. both were so filling as it came with miso soup and salad and the food was scrumptious. i'd DEFINITELY come back soon and recommend anyone to try it!! wishing the BEST for them because it was just that worth it for us!

This sushi spot has only a few months opened. Honestly for a new spot they did not disappoint! The lady who served us and checked us out was very welcoming. The music was great don't know if it was shuffled or someone's personal playlist but keep it going lol! But overall 10/10 honestly everything we ordered for lunch did not disappoint. Tasted fresh, fish was not slimy or chewy it was honestly perfect melts in your mouth if that makes any sense? Tempura was freshly crisp. Oh man and that scallop inari AMAZING! Seaweed salad cold and fresh. Truthfully for a new spot this was great food, and remember they are new so yes it's a work in progress. Kin Sushi keep it going whatever it is you're doing! Also prices are reasonable!! I'd argue it's much lesser than other places I've been to. Also parking is in the back

I'm incredibly overjoyed and satisfied As I was a frequent customer of the last sushi spot here I was delighted to see this pop up. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in, to see the space open up and so incredibly crisp. It's very neat and clean. I really love what they've done to the space. The food now, I will absolutely be coming back. I feel like I always judge a sushi spot by their fatty fish-- the yellowtail belly did not disappoint and I'm a huge yellowtail belly gal. I tunnel vision to that and Toro, which they unfortunately don't have. Just Albacore and Yellowtail, and it is fantastic. We also enjoyed the Peter Pan roll! And Veggie Fluffy Roll. It was fantastic, especially if you're a saucy person. I love me my sauces and all the sauces are spot on. So in conclusion everything is INCREDIBLY delicious, they are FAST and ATTENTIVE. I love supporting small businesses and I want them to stay! I wish them a long prosperous time.

Great food, great for a lunch! Sushi was fresh. Proportions were good. Service was prompt and server was attentive. We had the rolls, inari and udon. Location has good parking. Place is clean and new. Would definitely go back!

Yellowtail ribs

Had dinner at Kin Sushi in Torrance and really enjoyed it. The sushi was fresh, the dishes were creative and delicious, and the service was warm and excellent throughout the meal. The yellowtail ribs are a must! The restaurant also had a warm ambience while still feeling spacious enough for a big group, which made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious!

Had been spotting this place for awhile but finally decided to go in and see what they were all about. Let me tell you every single roll we ordered it was so delicious . We loved it and recommend you give it a try. Great customer service also.

The sushi rolls are so delicious here, some of the most creative and good priced rolls in the area. Service was very attentive and helpful. The place was refurbished and the decor is very cute!

Our server was so sweet and welcoming. She walked us through the options and made recommendations based on our party. For a party of 3, we ordered one pound of shrimp, one pound of snow crab, and half pound of clams. The staff recommended mixing their sauces and it definitely hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and meaty and the garlicky, spicy sauce kicked the flavor up a notch. We also ordered a side of fries to share and the dip it came with was amazing as well. The price is very reasonable! It was definitely bang for your buck. They have happy hours that span a good chunk of the day so definitely take advantage of that. The music was good and sports were available if that's your thing Cons: It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and at that time I was told they could not fulfill a portion of my order, I withdrew my order of rice and bang bang sauce. After 30 more minutes most of our order came out with the exception of the garlic bread. I was told that it takes a significant amount of time to make and asked if i wanted something else instead. I felt an hour for two burritos was excessive so declined adding anything else. Moments later my bread appeared. It took a full hour and some change to receive our order which I thought was unreasonable, especially since at this point we were the only patrons. Overall: Food was alright, reasonably priced, and portions were aligned with the price. However, I would recommend ordering ahead or anticipate a long wait time. When we went we were one of two patrons but it seemed they had a fair stream of take out orders. I frequent the area but do not live nearby and nothing caught my attention enough to return.

To be honest, I don't even remember which seasoning I got on my fish this time because they're all good. I was just excited to have salmon that I didn't have to cook at home. I went with the peppered corn and crispy brussels sprouts as the sides. I like the way they fish is in thin slices so it is super easy to take a mouthful of the fish with the sides. I regret not coming here sooner. Have lived in the area and passed this place by dozens of times…read more My family agrees that we will definitely be returning in the future. Positives: - calamari was fried perfectly, batter was light and crunchy and seasoned nicely. - Fish and Chips: portion was HUGE could not finish it. Fish was fresh and flaky, batter was light, crispy and not oily. - Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned and not overly salted. - Coleslaw was tasty, crunchy, and not too creamy or soggy. I don't like it when coleslaw is a soupy mess. - Price was very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food we got. - Us "old folks" enjoyed the background music from the 80s. Good ambiance. Cons: - Default tip option on card scanner started at 20% for a place where you seat yourself, order at the counter, and pick up your own food when called. I manually entered 10%. - Clam chowder was good but seemed to lack something (Spice, pepper, acid?) and flavor was more creamy than I like. My go-to order is the salmon with garlic butter, always delicious. Somewhat recently (past year or two) they changed their rice and I'm not a huge fan of the new noodley rice. I've since swapped to roasted corn.... but I miss the original rice, especially when the garlic butter would go onto it! Look I would've given this place 3 stars, but the customer service and wait time was ridiculous. Hear me out, this is my experience from last Saturday. So first it can be challenging to find this place, since the pier has so many level to it. Look for the elevators. When you get there, for the first time, you see a main line, well for what? Then you see other lines, well for what? Then you see an oyster line, oh. In order to determine what each line is for, you have to do independent research. From whom? Well the employee, who do not show case any form of customer service. There were so many people lost and confused. To break it down, each "Order Here" has their own area of what can be ordered by the pound and/or cooked. So not all lines are equal. There is a crab line, seafood boil/pre-seasoned seafood, oyster, clams, I think I saw fish and fried platters, which was the longest. So after much deliberation, an employee managed to wrangle the customers to form a line. Although his mannerism seems like I'm just done with this place. One might consider ropes to further avoid these mundane confusions... I got Ana's seafood boil mix, $99. It came with a lobster, dungeoness crab, peeled shrimp, clams, sausage and potatoes. The employee told me about 10 mins. I'm like okaaaay, only 10? I walked to their souvenir shop, nothing crazy or must haves. Just cheap Chinese things with their name printed on. I return in 10 minutes. The guy doing prepping/expediting the pick order was in a frantic state. Older white male, white mustache. He was running around, mixing orders up, couldn't even tell what customers had what. The employee that wrangling folks came to help him collect himself. So 10 minutes wait turns to 15, 20, then 30 minutes. I had 2 other employees check up on my order, they said it's not ready. Okay. Finally about 35 minutes it's ready. He didn't even call out my order, I had to wave my ticket. The first rule of speed of service, never over sell the time. If it's gonnabe 30 mins plus, say 40 mins, gimme a bs reason, short handed, etc, I don't care! But why would you tell me it'll be 10 mins?! So finally got the food. Flavor was pretty good. Lobster, was okay. I wished the shrimp had the head on. Clams were big. Sausage was good. Potato seemed like the diced ones from a can, they were so small. The crab, however, is the driest. Yep, for a place that exclaims "Quality Seafood," it was kind've of a let down. They taste like the bottom batch of the crab at Las Vegas buffet. You know the batch that sits on the bottom, they don't ever rotate because the employees don't care. So it's just marinating in its own dry filth. The crab was so dry I could put that in an Advil bottle instead of cotton. So now if you ask me, would I come back? Maybe, just maybe. Anytime soon? Nah, not right now. Also with the mention of a tourist trap, it's no different than Seattle's Pike Place and surroundings.

We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and disappeared fast. Then came the Fish & Chips. The fish was crispy, golden brown, and cooked perfectly. What really surprised me was the portion size. These weren't little pieces of fish hiding under a pile of fries--they were massive pieces of cod. My wife and I couldn't stop laughing at how much fish they served. To top it all off, we shared the key lime pie, and it was outstanding. Smooth, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
