Love the neighborhood feel. I think this place recently expanded and it looks great! We've tried the big breakfast, a couple of their pastries and their panini. All good. The espresso-based drinks and coffee were all good as well. But what sells this place is it's a neighborhood hangout for people that live in 95120. Why else would you go here if you don't live in Almaden Valley? I actually think more of these local mom-and-pop shops should exist. This place makes me want to own a business like this. It's very cool in general. It's evident from the moment you step in. Colors just pop everywhere. Tasteful decor and warm staff makes you feel very comfortable. We ordered #7 on the board. The Breakfast Plate. $8. It's two eggs scrambled with their daily selection of fresh veggies topped with cheese, avocado, tomato and salsa with toast. Today it was spinach and zucchini. It's a great refreshing take on the ho-hum scrambled eggs. It's in my opinion an open face scrambled egg. Very healthy. No meat for us meat lovers. Can you request an additional meat in there? I don't know. Never asked. It's good enough! Once in a while a breakfast without meat is welcomed in my meat fueled existence, The hot chocolate that I ordered topped with whipped cream came hot. They sell cookies, Tony's coffee in whole beans and they make a mean Mexican mocha. We also decided to try their sweet crepes. Sweet Nutella with very thinly sliced strawberries. It was done right! Fruits and Nutella mixed well wrapped inside that wonderfully thin crepe wrap. I will definitely have this again. They also make sandwiches and you can find a variety of them written on their board behind the counter. They carry bagels here as well. I had an amazing "cubano" coffee there. I am French and drink a lot of coffee (including 3 Nespresso a day) but I must say that the "cubano" was one of the best coffee I ever had. They do fresh crepes (sweet or savory) at a very affordable price. I'll go back to try them and update my review then. read more

In my attempt for 2013 to discover the underdog of the coffee world, BLVD COFFEE is high up there. Comfy sofas, free internet access, huge space to call your own where no one is peaking over your shoulder, outdoor seating great for a nice sunny day with water bowls for your pooch provided; you can't go wrong here. Tucked away in an outskirt plaza smack next door to a Hertz rental, this "Mom & Pop" coffee shop is the ticket to a nice, low profile hidden gem neighborhood coffee shop. Plenty of parking, and it is hidden away from that busy Los Gatos Blvd where constant cars are passing through to get to the highway. Service was excellent. My cappuccino was delicious. They had plenty of pastries that will make your eyes drool, and best of all, you don't have to deal with all the that "branding" stuff. Thanks to Yelp, I found this great spot for breakfast/coffee while visiting the Los Gatos area. The coffee and tea selections are extensive and premium. Their food preparations are fresh and thoughtfully built. It is a very unassuming strip mall location==probably would have missed it or not tried it had it not been for the outstanding reviews. Don't let the back of the center location deter you. Probably most important to their success equation is friendly, authentic and abundant staff. They don't expect their baristas to also be serving food They had two separate guys just doing the food prep when we were there on a Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. The Churro Crepe was very nice and the breakfast plate was simple, elegant and healthy not to mention delicious. I'm not a coffee drinker but my husband said his cappuccino was excellent. If I lived nearby, I would frequent this spot for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Pleasing and clean decor. The coffee and food is great here. The staff is very nice and polite. 2 recommendations for the manager/owner. (1) Get more support for the main barrista making the coffees. She gets so backed up with so many orders, customers get upset and it's really not her fault. She's going as fast as she can. So please find someone else to help her. (2) It would be helpful to have the staff label the coffees by the customer's name. Half the time people don't recognize their order or pick up someone else's coffee. read more

I've been trying to explore more coffee shops in the Campbell and Los Gatos area because frankly, I'm starting to get a little sick of Starbucks. I came here during my lunch break and thought it was a very cute and dainty cafe. The music playing was very soothing and seemed like a nice place for studying or hanging out with friends. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink but I wasn't a fan of what I got. I bought an iced Mexican Mocha which is not what I typically get from cafes so I don't really know what to compare it to. I got a small size and it was about $4. It wasn't as sweet as I thought it was going to be, especially considering it has chocolate in it. But I guess mocha typically is more bitter so what did I expect? Also, it wasn't mixed that well so I kept swallowing chunks of what was probably espresso beans mixed with chocolate. Perhaps I would've liked it hot better. Their strawberry lemon cake looked good, but not enough for me to want to buy. read more

Was wanting a wheatless option, but was in the awkward spot of being the first person to ask this. :) They did their best by removing it in their dish and added more of the veggies. They also had the basic condiments ready for me to add onto the dish. The Cubano tasted amazing. It had three gradient layers of tastes and really got me going. I also ordered the Mexican mocha to go. Both of these were the best coffee I've had since my visit to Portland and Seattle, which is saying a whole lot. Service was excellent overall. This place used to be just one store, but now they have expanded to two stores, and it's connecting as well. The second area is the bakery store where they made the pastries fresh every morning. I used to stop by this store location a long time ago when I loved in the local area when it was under a different name, I knew the owner and the menu and it was great. I would stop by almost every day on my way work and get a bagel egg sammy or a scone ( he scones were the best, I forgot where she got them from but they had a maple walnut scone that sold out every time they got them in ), anyways I always got my large americano coffee and off I went. I stopped by today, since I had coffee from here once before and it was OK, but this time We were wearing masks the girl and guy wasn't, ok I will keep my 6', so I order my normal coffee and I look at the scones and I can't tell what they are since I didn't have my reading glasses on and I asked do you have blueberry or other flavors, and I get a Snap reply back, What ever is there is what we have !!
