Since we like it spicy we added the calabrin chilli peppers and it was a total game changer. Must add if you like spicy !! Everything was authentic, delicious and had a nice Italian feel. The ambience was especially nice, and we loved sitting outside in a cozy corner. It's also a great spot for people-watching, which made the outdoor seating even better. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a lovely choice for a casual meal with family. Would definitely be back !

The flavor was ALMOST there. Meat was pull apart. I would say for $25, the portion was pathetic. I would not get this dish again. White Sauce Mortadella Pizza - 1/10. Holy shmokes, this was the worst pizza I had ever tasted. Absolutely no flavor. It tasted like I was eating fat on bread, with no distinguishable flavor. Impressively bland. Prosciutto and burrata - 2/10. $22, bland, plain and unamusing. Lasagna - Decent! - Service - seemed unwelcoming. Our server seemed disinterested and cold, though he did check in on us. Something about the service just seemed "off". - Parking - easy parking in a close by garage - ambiance - bustling

This location offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a covered patio area. It can get pretty hot and stuffy in the summer time but they have some fans working overtime. The menu offers a lot of chicken, pork and even veggie options. You can scan the QR code or order via paper menu with a server. I found service to be pretty minimal in my opinion. The fact that they have you order via online and the ask for an 18% tip is so typical these days. Sometimes it doesn't even surprise me. I ordered the buttered corn ramen, subbed for chicken and subbed for spinach noodles. The noodles were good- firm and chewy. The chicken was super tender and soft. The soup was a bit lackluster. I was expecting more depth in flavor but I found it to be on the blander side. I also wish it came with a whole marinated egg rather than half for a $20 bowl. I do like the fact that they offer outdoor dining as well as so much customizability. The toppings are great but the broth is what falls short for me. All in all, not a bad option in terms of ramen for the Bay Area. The options and customization is great and this is a good spot for vegetarians or people looking for something lighter than your typical ramen.

The ambiance is very mellow, dim lights, and very cool paintings. If you're feeling adventurous I would definitely put this place on the bucket list! Most of their food is fermented which has a very fresh taste to it. My absolute favorite was the bread along with the spread. I told the workers there that It was my first time there and I didn't know what drink to get. They gave me a list of recommendations and I ended up getting a "sour" which tasted like a cider beer Thank you so much for the cool fun experience.

I tried the popular baleada, which is a home-made flour tortilla filled with a layer of mashed red beans, queso fresco, eggs and with or without meat (I got it with carne asada). The flour tortilla was just as other described - soft, buttery smooth, almost melt in your mouth goodness. The carne asada was dry and hard so I could've gone without. I bet a braised beef like barbacoa would've been perfect for this item. It also came with salsa and I selected mild which gave it a nice bright flavor. I also ordered a chicken tamale (they also offer pork) and I was surprised to find a whole chicken wing (no skin) stuffed into the tamale! I broke into it using a fork and hit something hard which turned out to be the bones. But honestly, this was one of the best tamales I've tried in a long time. Flavorful, moist, and a nice sized portion. It came wrapped in what I think was banana leaf. The service was fast on a Wednesday night and there were a handful of friendly patrons seated nearby. You could tell that they were regulars. The space was intimate with around 10-15 tables seating about 4 people each. Maya's Cafe menu has a wide assortment of dishes to choose from: serving breakfast dishes like chilaquiles, lunch items such as burritos, or soups and full on dinner plates with rice, beans, and choice of protein. There's even more selection and the whole menu is in Spanish so I'll be sure to use Google Translate next time!
