My littlest boy, Norman, can be a bit jumpy, which unfortunately led to him being injured at another high-end salon in Menlo Park. However, the team here immediately understood his personality, and I felt completely confident in the care and safety they provided. Over booked. Dropped off 2 small hogs for grooming appointment at 9:30am and they were ready 6 hours later. When got there for pickup dogs were in cage with no water. The people that work there seemed rushed and not hospitable. One of the dogs had irritated private part where maybe she was nipped by trimmer. Will not go back again. read more

I was hesitant to bring my puppy to any groomer because he's so delicate and small. I was recommended to them from a local pet food shop here in town. I originally called them and they said they weren't excepting any new doggy clients. I asked them if they would consider my puppy because I didn't know anywhere else to go the lady that helped me on the phone said that she would take my information and ask the owner and call me back so she called me back in a timely manner letting me know that they would take my puppy and I was happy! Reeni is an artist with scissors! Reeni has been grooming several of our mini schnauzers for years and they actually look like a schnauzer when she is finished, which is very hard to do. I had been taking my poodle mixes here for about three years. They have gotten increasingly busy. Too busy in my opinion. They have you drop the dog off early in the morning and say they will call when they are done. Most of the time they don't call until After 3:00 and sometimes not til 5:00. My dogs appear very stressed when I pick them up. The place I switched to gets then both done in two hours and they look great abs are not traumatized by sitting in a kennel listening to dogs bark all day. read more

I took my dog to Remi at Boulevard for the first time today. She was very nice and I could tell she was a dog lover. There were lots of dogs around as I guess she does some doggie day care too. All the dogs were engaged and happy. Her place is not fancy but it didn't matter. She has a big back yard so plenty of room for lots of dogs. I got there at 8:15 and she said she'd give me a call when he was done but she thought it would be around 10:30. Someone called my at 10:05 and said I could pick him up in 20 min. Exactly as she said. My dogs looks just great and smells wonderful. The staff was all very pleasant and Remi is warm and could not have been nicer. Brought my wire-haired Jack Russell mix for a cleanup after picking him up from the Humane Society two days ago. Staff was very welcoming and friendly to both me and my dog. I told them exactly what I was looking for, and when I came back to pick him up, he was clean, cut exactly the way I asked, and very happy. Even at the end of the day, Reeni had a great attitude and a smile. She gave me some great recommendations for a better training collar for my boy. I came in to get my Schnauzer's ear hair trimmed. We'd only had him for two weeks, having gained custody from his previous owners. He had unfortunately had to get 15 teeth pulled only that week, so he was pretty shaky and nervous when I brought him in. The staff fit me in completely last minute, was extraordinarily gentle with him, had a great sense of humour when he got frustrated and a little nippy, and didn't charge me for the ear-hair trimming. He walked away brushed, un-traumatized, and able to hear once more. It was a completely positive experience for both me and my dog and I'm so glad that I chose to go here instead of another groomer. I'm hoping to bring my second dog in for a nail clipping sometime soon, and once my Schnauzer has calmed a little more, he'll be coming in for a proper grooming. I used Blvd.Dog Salon for the first time today for my elderly dog since my vets groomer left. My main concern was that he did not get too stressed for an old guy. He gets a little impatient with grooming these days.The owner and other groomers were really nice and very, very caring. Odie did really well there and his cut was exactly what I requested. The salon is not fancy, but a perfect atmosphere for dogs...and me. All the dogs looked very happy! I am very grateful for their kindness and patience with Odie and with me. After paying cash $75 with additional 20 dollars tip, I picked up our dog (Maltipoo) at 3pm and got an unpleasant text from the owner saying our dog is too matted and pls dont come again. Usually, the shop can just charge us more if it need more time and services. Instead, she texted me to go elsewhere. We have been a happy customer for the past 2 years. Reeni the owner has been grooming my mini schnauzer for many years now and I have always loved her detailed work. She really understands what I am looking for in a cut. I immediately scheduled an appt. with Reeni after learning that she started her own business and I am happy that I followed her to her new salon. Here is why: - Simple to schedule an appt. (via phone and text). - Perfect cut with a pretty bow included. - Appt. only took 2 hours - she started immediately on Baby so limited waiting time in a crate. - When I went to pick Baby up, Reeni was giving her a potty break outside. - Reeni is friendly and I can tell that she has a passion for her work. I believe the salon used to be a small garage before it was converted. It has just the basics inside, grooming table that is in plain view, tubs, some crates, etc. Enough to get the job done. I give the groomers and the salon in general a great rating. I was so happy to know that my dogs had been groomed by the girls there when they were at different grooming places. The receptionist however, was extremely rude to me. I walked in and there were loose dogs running around and my dog freaked out. She was also rude to me when I picked up my dog. I talked to both of the groomers and they remembered grooming him and said that he behaved during the grooming. If the receptionist is the owner then needs to change her attitude. read more

Wonderful! I was a customer at another dog grooming salon for 13 years, but after they changed owners, I was not happy with their services anymore. I was driving down LG Blvd, and saw a sign for this dog grooming salon. I checked it out on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. Reeni, the owner, called me back very quickly and I got an appointment for that weekend. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the salon was behind a very nice fence. It is a super secure yard, which is good with my trio of trouble. I was even more pleasantly surprised to see a groomer that I knew from the other dog salon, and she remembered my dogs. I have three dogs, one with a heart condition, one is deaf and not very smart, and one who can get out of any yard, kennel, bricked in room, (you know the kind). They were all clean, smelled good, were very happy (no anxiety in sight), and pottied (an issue at other salons in the past).
