I searched in my gps for the nearest BMW repair and headed over to BMW of West Springfield, totally expecting to be told I would have to wait or leave the car since I didn't have an appointment. Instead, before I could even finish a complimentary latte, it was done and when I asked what the bill was, I was told there was no charge. They could not have been nicer, quicker or more efficient. The most user-hostile car shopping experience we've ever had. It's as if they don't actually wanna sell cars; no one was willing to help us or show us around the different vehicles we were actively interested in test driving and possibly buying. We even called ahead to confirm they had the vehicles, but it was as if we were invisible. I called Nate several times with no return call, The lack of communication and delay in service is unacceptable especially for a brand like BMW. Very Disappointing experience. I know every situation may be different. Here's my story. If I could give them 10+ stars, I would. I needed repairs done on my silver 328SI coupe. My service advisor was Jesse S. From beginning to end, the experience was excellent. I did have a warranty on my automobile, but Jesse still had a go out of his way to work with the third-party warranty service to get my repairs approved. He placed several calls to the warranty company and then had to work with the warranty service inspector. He never gave up, he worked diligently on my behalf and he kept me informed every step of the way. I started looking for a 2020 or 2019 BMW M2 Competition in Sunset Orange Metallic the night of 01/31/2023. This car had been something I had wanted all throughout college and after being out of school and working for 7 months I was finally able to get a good down payment saved for one. This particular vehicle I found was a 2020 M2 Competition with 1,847 miles on the odometer and happened to be at BMW of West Springfield listed for $57,736.00 online. I had put an inquiry in to see if the car was still available and it was. I went down the following day (02/01/2023) to test drive the car. I tried to finance through them initially and they pre-approved me for $30,000 at 19.99% APR which is loan shark levels of interest. That same day I ended up putting a $1000 deposit on the car (even though I ended up paying $60,329.00 due to a ceramic coating on the car that was already on it and should have been included in the online price as well as a doc fee) After three business days I was approved with my local credit union for $45,000 at 4.99% APR. It then took two more weeks of back and forth with Bryce Piemonte, a sales executive who was responsible for the sale of the car, to finally sign the paperwork and finalize the deal and take the car home (02/17/2023). This was after going back and forth hearing numerous excuses on why I would not be able to sign the paperwork throughout those two weeks. Even after all that time they still managed to screw up the title by having one with both me and my grandfather's name on it even though on my loan I had no cosigner. After this point I was fed up with all of the excuses and stalling tactics they had used throughout the sale and was happy to never have to call or hear from them ever again as I drove the car off the lot. However when giving me my paperwork package somehow they managed to lose the certificate of origin to the car which then did not allow me to register it in my state (NH). On 03/04/2023 my 20 day temporary plate that I had gotten to pick up the car had expired and I could no longer drive it. I had to take an Uber to work until after days of calling them, finally I was able to get them to provide me a loaner on Friday (03/10/2023). I had finally received a copy of the certificate of origin in the mail exactly a week after getting the loaner car (03/17/2023). From test drive to registration of the car it took exactly 46 days to finish dealing with this dealership and finally drive the car I had paid $60,329.00 for. As well, in order to rectify this nightmare of a buying experience and to compensate me they said they would pay for 1 month of my car payment. I gladly sent Jason Gunn, the sales manager, a copy of my car loan statement which I pointed out in an email explicitly that the payments are $860.29 a month. At the time of writing this review they have picked up the loaner and brought me a check. This check however is only $545.01 exactly $315.28 short of my monthly payment. I have cashed the check because honestly I don't want to ever deal with them again to get the rest of the money I am owed. I would never ever recommend anyone buy from here. The only reason I continued to persevere through this agonizing buying experience was because this car is not made anymore and I probably will never find another one with this mileage again. This dealership is run by conmen who want to get every cent they can from you and cut every corner they can to improve their profit margins. Update: They have just charge backed the check they gave me. Never trust a word they say. They will screw you over anyway they can, and lie directly to your face. read more

I recently purchased a 2022 X3 from Bryce at BMW West Springfield and had a wonderful experience. I'm a previous BMW owner (bought at this location) and did research before I came in, so I knew exactly what I was looking for. Bryce set my husband I up quickly for a test drive (with COVID you go on your own) and explained the features of the car before we left. Once we returned it was a friendly, no pressure situation to decide next steps. Throughout the process Bryce explained add-on features to us in a low pressure and realistic way, and it didn't feel like he was trying to upsell everything possible. Reasonable negotiation process (do your homework) and felt as if they were willing to work with us. The team at the dealership got my new car to me quickly and with minimal hassle. Previous day on a drive from Virginia to Springfield Ma. my right brake light went out in Delaware. Friday morning I stopped by BMW of West Springfield to have the bulb replaced. Jason my Service Advisor was very accommodating, even though I am not a customer of this BMW Dealership and there were other customers with appointments and walk ins, he promised the work would be done in an hour. True to his word the bulb was replaced and my car was washed and vacuumed in less than 30 minutes. Jason was friendly, efficient and funny, brought a smile to my face on a rainy Friday morning. Not a happy customer! I purchased a rear spoiler for my car. Service team called me and said the spoiler was in and it was ok to book appointment for installation. I did just that! Booked an appointment to have the rear spoiler installer, I took the day off of work for this. Showed up to my appointment to find out that they don't do this type of installation!! I would give them zero stars if I could. After 3 separate phone calls confirming an appointment to test drive a specific M3 with a manual transmission, I drove an hour and a half to this dealership. When I arrived, they showed me the car and then told me they don't allow M3s to go out for test drives. They "sincerely" apologized that somehow all 3 people I spoke with had missed conveying this critical detail over the phone. They seemed to think I'd be willing to pay $80K for a car without ever test driving it, which is a non-starter for me and is why I made the appointment for this test drive in the first place. I went there a few times to check out a vehicle that I'm interested in. The sales guy Bryce was pleasant and even tho I didn't order the car YET he's always been helpful. Once I buy the car and service it I will give a more detail review but so far so good. Not sure why BMW of West Springfield received so many poor reviews but my experience has been great. Finally decided to purchase a 2017 X1 and Bryce K helped me seal the deal. The entire staff has been great and in a couple years I'm looking forward to my next upgrade read more

On November 13th, 2018 my wife and I stopped by this dealership because they had the best price on a BMW X5 on their website and on few other websites. We walked into the dealership and were greeted by salesman Ryan Leite. We sat down with Ryan and explained to him the X5 we were interested in. He told us that it was a loaner car and the car was out that day. He suggested we test drive a similar X5 to see if we like the car. After the test drive my wife and I were convinced that we wanted to move forward with the purchase. Ryan sat us down in his office to fill out some paperwork. While we were filling out the paperwork Ryan explained that the price listed on the website was wrong. The actual price was about $4,000 higher. We did not flinch. We still wanted to move forward with the sale. Ryan explained that the X5 we wanted would be back the next morning. After spending four hours at the dealership Ryan and I agreed that we would touch base in the morning around 10am to see if the car was at the dealership. At 10am the next day I called Ryan to inform him that I would be at the dealership in 30 minutes. Ryan stated that the X5 was at the dealership and that the earliest he could meet me was at noon because he had an appointment at 11am. We agreed to meet at noon. At noon my wife and I walked into the dealership. We were greeted by Ryan inside the dealership. While we were speaking with Ryan, his manager (forgot his name) was only six feet away sitting at his desk. Ryan even told his manager that I was here for the X5. Ryan told us to sit in the waiting area until his test drive with a client was over. We waited in the waiting area on the second floor for a little over 30 minutes. After his test drive was over, Ryan escorted us to his office. Once again we filled out more paperwork. About 15 minutes into the conversation, Ryan excused himself and went to his manager's desk. They spoke in private for about 10 more minutes. After his conversation with his manager he came back to his desk and started to do something on his computer. While staring at the computer screen, he tells us that the X5 that we spent all this time talking about and waiting for was sold last night. Ryan then suggests to us that he would help find another car. During this time at no point did he make any eye contact. I got up from my chair and got angry. At this point his manager comes out and tells me to "calm down". This is what he had to say to me for wasting all my time to "calm down". My interaction with this guy was very brief. During the interaction my wife and I felt like we were being talked down to. I am very reluctant to label anyone a racist with little interaction but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be duck. I asked him why the car was still listed on his website and other websites for sale. He had no answer. We got into our car and drove to BMW of Shrewsbury. With in 30 minutes I was in and out of the Shrewsbury dealership with the X5 (the same model and for the same price). We brought our vehicle back after the lease expired. We got a bill for excess mileage, lease end fee, missed maintenance and worn tires. We paid the mileage and lease end fee but questioned the other two. The missed maintenance was for one oil change that should have been done 4 months before lease end. We had the car in the dealership at that time for another issue and they never offered to do the service. What kind of dealer doesn't look for opportunities to do service work? The other problem was two worn tires. The issue here is that we took the tires off the vehicle, replaced them and stored them in our garage until putting them back on just before turning the car in. What kind of tires will wear out sitting in bags in your garage for three years? We were repeat customers but have learned our lesson the hard way. We will never do business with BMW again. I was then directed to a lounge area where I was provided with snack and beverages while I waited. I then began to walk around the dealership to check out some of the new BMW models and stumbled across the new BMW 5 series. The representative was extremely open and honest about how the dealership did business and I was able to walk out that day with a new vehicle instead of my old one. What I liked most about my experience was the transparency throughout the entire process there was no haggling back and forth and no negotiating needed, they price their vehicles to sell and disclose any and all promotions. Both of them explain everything, tell me what's needed vs what can wait, and never are rude or short with me. On June 17, I brought my vehicle to the BMW dealer because of the service light. I spoke with Jason, and he assured me that all would be the fix to get rid of the service light- he stated the service light was an indication that these issues were just a reminder they were due for servicing. I go to pick up my vehicle, and I am kept waiting while Jason addresses a white couple's issues that arrived after me. I made several attempts to contact the dealership and spoke with a woman that reassured me that she would have the service manager contact me, waited and no callback. I left a message on Kohler's voicemail and no callback. I will put in a complaint with DMV about this dealership they are a ripoff; my service light is still on. Excellent loaner cars, plus the ability to just stop by for small things like a free car wash or checking the air in my tires. We bought a car last year from Bryce (he is an excellent salesman and I hate to even lump him in with this review). It turns out I have one tire that is not wearing correctly , this is per the Albany BMW dealer as we moved after buying the car. We bought the extended warranty and road hazard warranty. The Albany dealer said I have to take this up with the selling dealer as it was recorded in the service paperwork in January (they never told us this at West Springfield then and never fixed or even asked us we wanted to pay to fix the tire). I have now called West Springfield 6 times and been told each time only the finance guy can help me, and he will not return calls. This was a dream car for my wife and it is quickly becoming a nightmare because of poor dealer service. Run from this place!!!! read more

Long time customer was left more than disappointed after my last service appointment. I wrote down what the Service Advisor explained needed to be done - including all pricing. Once the work was done, the pricing was over $1,000 higher than what was discussed/approved!! Another Service Advisor looked at the paperwork and agreed I should question the work. Speaking with the Service Manager was a not helpful. I was told they record telephone calls so he would call me once he reviewed the call. Having heard nothing from the Service Mgr., for a week, I called to inquire about what he was able to discern from the call. A message was left for me explaining they were right. I called and requested a return call to further clarify the decision with the expectation that I will be able to listen to the call. Am still waiting for that return call. Very disappointed with the responsiveness - guess this customer is just not important enough for them. Would not recommend this dealership. Be careful and get all quotes in writing!! read more

Do not go to this dealership, for a BMW dealer it's nothing but a scam, starting at the top!! there was a pick up truck listed for 17k on the website...seemed like no one bit. my dad called to see the truck and after looking at it and falling in love with it "someone came from NY" to see the truck...this was a move to get my dad to jump on it, which he did! he gave a $500 deposit to secure it (which he was willing to pay cash on the truck) they gave him the run around. He went on a Friday, the lady that did paperwork "didn't show up" on Saturday then they had to do something with a muffler. On Monday the same truck was on the website with a current update of 15k. My dad went to the dealer and asked what was going on and he got some bullshit excuse, he was asked if he wanted to back off on the deal...and he did ask for his deposit back. They gave it back to him with no issue. They called him after to ask why he backed out of the deal and after talking to his salesman he says the same guy that came from NY offered 1k more...this was all a attempt to get my dad to offer more! It's a shame how they try to get off on people with no care at all! This starts at the top...he was then called by the manager and he pretended to care when the whole time the salesman was making the "deal" he continued to walk off to "talk to my manager" I will be looking to take this further up the chain because I can only imagine all the other ppl that have been suckered by these people! read more
