We visited here on a Saturday , fairly busy day for this location . Be prepared to spend some money , maybe not break the bank money , but definitely a chunk ! You can use the kiosks to buy gaming cards which can be used for games and rides . Or you can choose to buy a wristband for the kiddie rides . They have specials throughout the week with better deals on games and wristbands . The play structure requires a wristband which you can purchase separately at the prize counter if that is all your child wants to do . They have food and drinks for sale , better prices in the Boardwalk then in the bowling alley area . A fun place for the family to go !

I bought a basic party package and OMG you would have thought I bought the most expensive package because the customer service with everyone was incredible. Specifically I want to shout out Beca for how incredibly helpful, caring, sweet, and attentive she was to all of our guests she walked us through everything and explained anything we had questions about she made my son's 6th birthday so much more special. 10/10 recommend. Momma's if you need a place to have your kids party with minimal stress do it at the boardwalk. Beca did practically all the heavy lifting, made it easy to be in the moment with my birthday boy.

Recently attended my son's classmate's birthday party and it was fun! Lots of parking available. Not far from the freeway too. The Boulevard has tons of things to do all in one place and indoor with air conditioning! Fair type games and rides at reasonable prices especially with a wristband. Prizes are decent and of good quality. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Just enough options to keep kids happy and parents stress free. Consider this place for birthday celebrations. Thank me later.

Well this was my first time coming here and it is a lot like Chuck E Cheese and it is bigger though lots of Video games and there is even Bumper Cars inside also plus it is a lot like Family Fun Center which is boomers now . But everything is in doors . There are lots of bowling lanes also . It is perfect for kids and Adults also we walked around looking and there is plenty to do here plus there is Air Hockey tables and pool tables inside here also !! But for 3 people it cost us 46 Dollars for one hour of bowling kind of expensive I would say but they do have bowling tournaments here and leagues you can join here also . They do accept party's here also you just have to ask . Overall it was a good experience and I surely can see myself coming back . Lots of Parking and it is located in El Cajon . I suggest you give Boardwalk a try and enjoy all the games here !!!

My son's birthday at the Boardwalk was chaotic but he had fun. We chose the Ultimate Birthday Package which includes unlimited rides, laser tag, $15 game cards for guests (up to 10) and a $20 game card for the birthday boy or girl. Each kid after the first 10 is $35 extra but they told me they only have 12 laser tag vests so bigger parties would need to be split into two games. I definitely recommend getting there 15-20 minutes early so your party host has time to explain the schedule and give you a run down of the day's events. You also really want to stress to your guests to be there on time if you're doing the party package with laser tag. We had a couple kids who missed out due to being late and the round only lasts 7 and a half minutes. We never got a second round of laser tag as it stated on the schedule. You will not be able to go into the actual party room for the first hour of the party so be prepared to sit and loiter while the kids run around and go on the rides. The second hour of the party you get into the room, they serve pizza and leave you a few minutes for cake and presents. They give out the game cards at the very end of the party so allow for extra time after the scheduled events to play games. Honestly everything felt really rushed and stressful but I understand they need to keep things tight to ensure all the parties that day are on time. My biggest complaint though was that the pizzas didn't come out all together so there were people sitting around waiting while half the guests ate. For the money you pay, you would expect the staff to be on top of things and even though our party hostess was super nice and trying her best, the service was simply lacking. Three stars because my son and his friends loved it and had the best time but from a parent's perspective, probably two stars at best.

Came for a birthday party. Was a huge parking lot the place was pretty big. The parking lot was full. There is a lot of parking though. The boardwalk arcade was pretty lonely everyone is at the bowling. Great place for kids. They have bowling, arcade games, laser tag and some rides. Some of the games a little beat down and do not work. Workers were able to get them working of give us the credit for it back. I really enjoyed the laser tag and thought it was fun. It was $10 for a game. We played a few games I think we did $20 and it lasted a while. Most games were 10-30 credits. They have pizza, chicken wings, tenders, icees, beer and soda. I did not eat or drink anything. They were saying the prices were good for the alcohol which was beer or canned drinks of Cutwater Spirits.

Can't believe we have been missing out all these years (I believe this is their 15th year) We had VIP entry for 7pm and at 1st I thought I could have saved some money and gone general entry but ended up the extra cost was well worth the money. The general entry line wasn't super long at 1st but for sure it started getting packed. We were 1st in line and eager to check everything out and get some good scares. The trial is a bit uneven but is well lit and actually not too bad to walk. The scareators were amazing, the props as well and the staff superb! The scares are enhanced knowing you are literally walking through the buildings and area of the old amusement park. We were in the first group to enter and what I liked not is we were spaced out. Even though there were roughly 8 of us we all got a chance to get scared. There was no overcrowding or trying to fit too many people through at once. It was perfect. Parking is free and easy in and out (dirt lot but we'll maintained). Depending on the time and date you go might help factor in which ticket option you want. There are three options, general line, fast pass, and VIP. Each allow you to stand in or bypass the line. Later in the season I would for sure go with fast pass at least. I can picture this haunt getting busier. Overall a great local haunt, well priced, easy to get to and awesome people. Can't wait to go back!

When we toured the facility, the staff showed us the larger party room and explained that, based on our guest count, we would be assigned that room with the double doors opened for additional space. We were also told that extra chairs would be provided if needed and that a party host would check in with us throughout our two-hour party to make sure everything was running smoothly. However, on the day of the party, we were placed in one of the smaller rooms in the back. The room was far too small for our guests, and even Cosmo, the mascot, barely had enough space to come in and interact with everyone. We also never received the extra chairs that had been discussed during booking. Another issue was the refrigerator in our party room. It was broken and leaking water, so none of our drinks stayed cold throughout the event. We also ran out of plates, forks, and napkins multiple times. Because we couldn't find our party host, we had to borrow supplies from other empty party rooms ourselves. Our party host only came by three times: once to show us the room, once when Cosmo made an appearance, and once at the end for cleanup. Other than that, we had little to no assistance during the party. The play area itself is fun, super cute, party rooms are adorable and the kids had a great time. However, the party experience was very disappointing, especially considering the cost. Better communication, proper room assignments, functioning equipment, and attentive hosting would have made a significant difference. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future families celebrating special occasions here.

I'm not sure if it was because it was Labor Day weekend but it was definitely below standards of service. I had a male and female bartender Sunday evening as we had to sit at the first come first serve area, which was not bad, but things were a little off. So the mail came over and we asked for Long Island iced teas. He explained the difference between the two that were being served, and we decided to go with the original. At $15.99 I can say that I have had better long Islands as this definitely was not blended well I tasted more sour than the combination that makes a long island a Long Island. Not complaining about it but going over the menu we decided to order wings and not deviate from the original plan although there were other things on the menu that did look tempting. The female bartender comes over looking at me asked what can I help you with I start talking and then she abruptly turned to the lady that she just finished serving and runs her tab without saying excuse me just one moment. It was rather embarrassing honestly and I totally wouldn't understood if she needed time to adjust the other customers tab. It was how she did it that made me feel awkward as I was mid sentence.... She did come back and apologize and said what were you saying? Now the younger version of me would've asked for another bartender, but it just blew it off. I ordered two orders of chicken wings, one lemon pepper, and one the classic buffalo. The chicken wings here never miss but today it was a hit and miss at this location. The drinks were definitely not worth the price as normally $15.99 a drink would not have bothered me because like I said, the Long Islands normally be popping. The wings tonight could have definitely been better on the classic buffalo. The wings had sauce on them and they're still warm, but they are not fresh fresh as the sauce begins to look thick in the wings like it wasn't freshly tossed.. Now the lemon pepper was great. I must say Dave & Buster's does know how to cook wings but I'm guessing now you have to request that they cook them fresh and I've never had to do that before but maybe again like I said it being Labor Day weekend people probably had been ordering them so much they had them on rotation which is a good and bad thing. Cook my food fresh to order, please. Did this experience ruin my night at Dave & Buster's?? they have me looking at them side eye for sure!!!!! When I do return, I will be paying close attention to how my drink is mixed for sure and also if I do get any wings at this location, I'm asking for them to be freshly prepared. Would I recommend D&Bs absolutely it makes for a great night when they get it right and you can bring the kids if you want. She did not tell me to go online to book. She did say I had to have a $750 minimum since she'd be coming to San Diego, and I was ok paying the extra. Again, no mention to go online to do this while talking. I can't go back to Tuesday the 22nd on my phone to screenshot my log. But I've posted the 2 calls I made to her Wednesday and the call I made on Thursday. I left messages asking for a call back and that we'd spoken. Let's be clear, they were not booked. I've been looking for a Dino encounter type of company for my sons 4th birthday party. After speaking with several companies who were unavailable, this was the only one who was available. I believe her name is Carrie (maybe jeri?) who owns it. When I originally spoke with her before other companies, the first thing I thought was, she doesn't sound very charismatic nor entertaining. When I learned she was one of the "presenters" is when I searched for another company. Unfortunately no one else was available for my date so I called back. I spoke with her Monday about booking and she confirmed availability but said she was in the car and would call me back later to finish booking. Ok, great. She didn't call me back. I called her back Tuesday afternoon and left a message. Same thing Wednesday, I called a few times to follow up and pay. No response. Today, Thursday, I called and got a hold of her. She apparently has booked someone in my spot since we spoke. I am sooo angry. When we hung up Monday, I would have paid if she'd told me how instead said she was driving and we'd handle later. So I assumed we had our spot. When I reminded her of this, she told me I needed to understand she speaks to a lot of people every day and she had car troubles which she had to fix and handle. Quite frankly, I do understand things happen BUT how do you confirm someone else when you already told someone else they had that spot. Im furious but it may be for the best as I can not imagine her type of personality entertaining a bunch of 4 year olds. Terrible way to run your business. Look for a different company!!! I do NOT recommend. If you follow my reviews, I do NOT typically give out 1 star reviews and I'm very fair. But this review deserves it as they completely left me hanging for a party!
