I hope you didn't want basil on your Caprese sandwich. This place does a very common grift in the northeast where they sell a "Caprese" and specifically list basil in the description of the sandwich then try to sneakily substitute arugula. Arugula tastes NOTHING like basil! If you (understandably) can't keep fresh basil in your restaurant, you forfeit the right to offer a whole menu item dedicated to the deliciousness of fresh basil...which the Caprese surely is. The ultimate slap in the face was bringing the sandwich back and asking for basil then getting a snarky answer and a tiny plastic dish containing the equivalent of 1/2 of a basil leaf. read more

Did not get a pizza but did order a tuna Sandwich which was very tasty and freshly made! The bread was crusty but not too hard! The Sandwich was pretty much packed with lots of filling enough for really two adults to share! Basically we ate our sandwich at the ice cream store that's part of the same area! Stopped into this pizza spot after a dentist appointment haha! They have fig and prosciuttos pizza which is what we were in the mood for. No other spot locally that I've found does a good one. Their pie's are 16" for about $21. The lady who helped us was really nice, for two pies, the north end (sausage mozzarella peppers) and the fig pie. The Fig pie was delicious, best eaten fresh i think personally. The sweetness from the fig and their cured prosciutto that is used just melds so well together. The north end pie i felt needed something salty on it, but nothing some garlic salt at home didn't solve, a tad bland in flavor, but cooked well and toppings weren't skimped on. The crust and dough i felt was great when fresh, not the best for college style "ill eat it tomorrow" as it seemed to get really hard and dry when reheating it in the oven or eating later cold. They also have this brand brown bag kettle chips sweet and salty (hints of both) that were very fresh and tasted great about $6 for the bag off the wall. I've been to the Boardwalk Pizza a few times now, usually after a dentist appointment to grab a bite. The staff here is always so nice! We ordered two pizzas to go: fig & prosciutto (with mascarpone) + North End special (sausage, bell peppers, & red onion). The fig & prosciutto pizza was delicious, loved the fig jam & big pieces of prosciutto! The North End pizza was okay... it definitely needed some salt & garlic powder but ingredients tasted fresh. The pizzas itself were cooked a little longer than I like. Crust was edible but not great. Not chewy & kind of like a chip. I'd probably get the fig and prosciutto pizza again, however, not my favorite spot for this kind of pie. read more

Stopped in yesterday to get a Sicilian slice and the guy at the counter said they didn't make any. Why not? So, I left. Do better.

I was in the mood for a meatball sub one day this week for lunch so I stopped by here to order one. The sub was very good. The ingredients were of good quality and very fresh tasting. It was just the right size to fill me up and I really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and I got my food in no time at all. On another occasion some months back I ordered a pizza from here for delivery and I enjoyed it as well. The sauce used to make the pizza and the cheese blend made for a delicious pizza. This is more of a takeout and delivery restaurant since there is no seating here so definitely plan on ordering food to go. I will certainly be ordering from here again. read more

Just left there with an absolute trash slice. I ordered the last pepperoni they had which looked good. Paid for it and stood there for 10 min while it was being burnt in the oven. The kid who rang me up for it finally comes over like I hadnt been waiting for it for 10min and was like whats up, I'm like oh nothing just waiting for that slice you threw in the oven. He pulls it out and brings it over and asks me if I like it well done. It was black. I said no, so he grabbed a dry as could be cheese slice and throws like 5 peices of pepperoni on top, heats it up and gave it to me with a straight face. We have stopped here a few times for sandwiches and it was really good at what felt like fair prices. Really generous and delicious sandwiches and we have had all kinds (hot, cold, saucy, not). Great food and very nice people. Every time I go to break rock brewing, I get this pizza and it hits the spot every time.

This was a very solid pizza! We enjoyed a cheese pizza topped with sausage, onions, and bell peppers. The sauce was tasty and you could tell they take the time to season and cook their toppings. Flavor wise, this was one of the better pizzas I've had. However, the crust was quite thin... too thin. The center of the pizza had no structure and when taking it out of the pizza box, half of it stayed behind. If the crust were slightly thicker and crisper it would be a home run! We took the pizza to-go and enjoyed it at nearby Break Rock Brewing - it made for a fun lunch combo! read more

Pizza was alright I'll give it a 5/10 I tried the wings and I ordered them well done.The wings wasn't cooked all the way through. The seagulls enjoyed them though. I believe the owner needs to learn how to speak to their employees as well. He was yelling at him like a child and I feel like even if the situation requires you to speak to someone you should do it away from the customers. Very unprofessional people make mistakes. Went in on a weekday to get a few slices to go. Got home and opened the bag to discover that the slices were clearly 2-3 days old. The crust was rock hard and couldn't even be cut with a serrated steak knife. I went back to the shop and let the staff/owner know that it was blatantly obvious that the slices are not made fresh daily. I did not ask for a refund. The woman cooking made up some BS story about the oven being broken earlier, then actually offered to give me another slice!!! As if I would ever consume anything made here. Gross!! This was my second time here grabbing a slice for lunch and the first time was equally as revolting. Since this happened on more than one occasion, it's obvious that this place recycles unsold slices and continues to try and sell them days later. They mask this fact by throwing the slices in the oven. Most people wouldn't be able to tell because the cheese is melted and looks fresh. I asked for mine not to be heated because I was in a hurry and could heat them easily at home. Because of this, I discovered their scam.
