Stopped into this pizza spot after a dentist appointment haha! They have fig and prosciuttos pizza which is what we were in the mood for. No other spot locally that I've found does a good one. Their pie's are 16" for about $21. The lady who helped us was really nice, for two pies, the north end (sausage mozzarella peppers) and the fig pie. The Fig pie was delicious, best eaten fresh i think personally. The sweetness from the fig and their cured prosciutto that is used just melds so well together. The north end pie i felt needed something salty on it, but nothing some garlic salt at home didn't solve, a tad bland in flavor, but cooked well and toppings weren't skimped on. The crust and dough i felt was great when fresh, not the best for college style "ill eat it tomorrow" as it seemed to get really hard and dry when reheating it in the oven or eating later cold. They also have this brand brown bag kettle chips sweet and salty (hints of both) that were very fresh and tasted great about $6 for the bag off the wall. Would be back if hanging in the area!

I've been to the Boardwalk Pizza a few times now, usually after a dentist appointment to grab a bite. The staff here is always so nice! We ordered two pizzas to go: fig & prosciutto (with mascarpone) + North End special (sausage, bell peppers, & red onion). The fig & prosciutto pizza was delicious, loved the fig jam & big pieces of prosciutto! The North End pizza was okay... it definitely needed some salt & garlic powder but ingredients tasted fresh. The pizzas itself were cooked a little longer than I like. Crust was edible but not great. Not chewy & kind of like a chip. I'd probably get the fig and prosciutto pizza again, however, not my favorite spot for this kind of pie.

Stopped in yesterday to get a Sicilian slice and the guy at the counter said they didn't make any. Why not? So, I left. Do better.

Best pizza in Quincy for sure. Also had the meatball sub which was amazing. Highly recommend this spot.

This is the first review I have ever left. This pizza tastes like cardboard. It gets 2 stars for convenience alone.

This is the best pizza around. Amazing service, perfect crust, slightly sweet sauce, and a salty cheese. I literally dream of this pizza.

Great food and very nice people. Every time I go to break rock brewing, I get this pizza and it hits the spot every time.

Yummy pizza which reminds me of real Italian pizza. The sauce was good; not too sweet and not too garlicky.

The old "idle hour"…read more First time ordering pizza from here and it was okay. I think I would prefer to go in next time and grab a bar seat or table and eat in house. We also ordered their Caesar Salad which was good. I do remember this spot before it was Drifters and it was called Idle Hour which I loved so much. But I will say I am excited that a new pizza spot is now in its place. I think my next time that I try this will be physically at the restaurant. My only concern is that it is very loud. It is a great place to go watch sports for sure!

The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!

There is no reason to make a table wait 10 to 15 minutes to get their drinks when the bar is 50 feet from the table and we can clearly see there are 3-4 people behind the bar not doing anything. The food is not made upon ordering. I tried to order the penne vodka without the bacon in the sauce. I was told that "that's the way it comes." So it was pretty clear that the cook is not making any sauce when you order it. (This isn't a red sauce that takes hours.) The pasta is from a box so the prices that they charge for it are not justified. Overly loud Spanish love ballad music was playing at 5 PM in this nearly empty restaurant. Between that and the gigantic white feather decorations just over my partner's head I would say the vibes were off. My partner had seen this restaurant while walking around and thought it could be a good place to try out. He was pretty upset that the restaurant was so meh and that he took me there for my birthday. Bad music. Bad decor. Bad service. Mediocre food.

The flavors on the steak sub were really nice and Coopers cheddar cheese is a definite flavor boost. This score should be a 4.5 and the only note I have is please scrape down the grill more often. I was honestly disappointed that I drove all the way to Quincy for it. I ordered the Chicken Caesar sub, and while it was huge and generously portioned, it just wasn't enjoyable because it was so bland. My husband wasn't a fan of his meal either. One thing that stood out was finding chunks of steak in my Chicken Caesar sub. I'm assuming it was from a shared grill, but it wasn't something I expected. Overall, the experience was decent because the restaurant was clean and the staff was pleasant. However, the food was the reason we made the trip, and it simply didn't deliver. If you're craving a Chicken Caesar wrap or sub, your local mom and pop pizza shop will likely make a better one.
