    Italian tuna sandwich
    Alyanna T.

My partner and I ordered an Italian tuna sub, chicken parmigiana sub, and slice of cheese pizza - TASTE: 3/5 - was in the mood for a tuna melt, and should've known that the Italian tuna sub here wasn't gonna be able to fill that craving. The chicken parm sub was just alright too, and the cheese pizza was, unsurprisingly, the best part of the meal TEXTURE: 3/5 - fresh hot pizza and a thick chicken parm. Back on the tuna though, the chewy sub roll did not help its case lol PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $28 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - satisfied us for lunch SERVICE: 3/5 - walked in at 2pm on a Sunday. Saw our food was ready 20min later, despite our name nor order not being called out ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - Boardwalk Pizza shares a space w the brightly-decorated Donato's Gelato; the latter has seating PARKING: 5/5 - parked nearby at Squantum Point Park's parking lot

    Caprese containing arugula.

I hope you didn't want basil on your Caprese sandwich. This place does a very common grift in the northeast where they sell a "Caprese" and specifically list basil in the description of the sandwich then try to sneakily substitute arugula. Arugula tastes NOTHING like basil! If you (understandably) can't keep fresh basil in your restaurant, you forfeit the right to offer a whole menu item dedicated to the deliciousness of fresh basil...which the Caprese surely is. The ultimate slap in the face was bringing the sandwich back and asking for basil then getting a snarky answer and a tiny plastic dish containing the equivalent of 1/2 of a basil leaf.

Stopped into this pizza spot after a dentist appointment haha! They have fig and prosciuttos pizza which is what we were in the mood for. No other spot locally that I've found does a good one. Their pie's are 16" for about $21. The lady who helped us was really nice, for two pies, the north end (sausage mozzarella peppers) and the fig pie. The Fig pie was delicious, best eaten fresh i think personally. The sweetness from the fig and their cured prosciutto that is used just melds so well together. The north end pie i felt needed something salty on it, but nothing some garlic salt at home didn't solve, a tad bland in flavor, but cooked well and toppings weren't skimped on. The crust and dough i felt was great when fresh, not the best for college style "ill eat it tomorrow" as it seemed to get really hard and dry when reheating it in the oven or eating later cold. They also have this brand brown bag kettle chips sweet and salty (hints of both) that were very fresh and tasted great about $6 for the bag off the wall. Would be back if hanging in the area!

I've been to the Boardwalk Pizza a few times now, usually after a dentist appointment to grab a bite. The staff here is always so nice! We ordered two pizzas to go: fig & prosciutto (with mascarpone) + North End special (sausage, bell peppers, & red onion). The fig & prosciutto pizza was delicious, loved the fig jam & big pieces of prosciutto! The North End pizza was okay... it definitely needed some salt & garlic powder but ingredients tasted fresh. The pizzas itself were cooked a little longer than I like. Crust was edible but not great. Not chewy & kind of like a chip. I'd probably get the fig and prosciutto pizza again, however, not my favorite spot for this kind of pie.

Stopped in yesterday to get a Sicilian slice and the guy at the counter said they didn't make any. Why not? So, I left. Do better.

This is the best pizza around. Amazing service, perfect crust, slightly sweet sauce, and a salty cheese. I literally dream of this pizza.

Yummy pizza which reminds me of real Italian pizza. The sauce was good; not too sweet and not too garlicky.

Unfortunately, we had to order through Uber Eats for delivery, so the food wasn't as hot as it would've been fresh, but even with that, my coworkers and I still enjoyed everything. The mac and cheese with chicken bowl was really good! The cheese was just right not too much or too little and the chicken had great flavor. Definitely one of my favorites and something I'd order again. I also tried the sweet chili chicken fries and the Beantown chopped cheese sandwich. The flavors were solid overall, and even after delivery the food still held up pretty well. Next time I'd love to visit in person and try it fresh because I'm sure it would be even better. Definitely worth checking out!

I arrived to the shop at 11:05am and they were open. But it's definitely not the end of the world! I really wanted to try their chicken Caesar wrap. It's been on our minds since Tuesday lol FOOD - Chicken Caesar Wrap is 11/10! I'm not even exaggerating it. Please come and try it for yourself. Lettuce tasted fresh, the right amount of chicken and Parmesan cheese and croutons, nicely wrap in a tortilla wrap, and the RIGHT AMOUTH OF DRESSING/Sauce. I will definitely come back like every other week lol Chicken Buffalo ranch wrap was also good but lacked sauce. Next time I will definitely ask for more sauce. Chicken tender dinner 3pc for $10 with fries is definitely a deal. A deal because their tenders are the right size and fried perfectly . Only down fall is, it does not come with sauce. It's $.75 or $1 for sauce. I believe it should come with one sauce per order. Just my opinion. Strawberry tres leches was mid per wifey. I'll get her the original plain one next time to see how it is. Overall, great customer service when you order in person. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Their wraps are very good. I will come back to try the other 2-3. Glad I finally decided to come and check this place out.

Homestead Bakery is a gem, no doubt. The thing about their food is this: no matter what you order,…read moreit's going to be made well. You really can't go wrong on that front. Case in point--the turf bagel. I love it so much that sometimes it's hard for me to order anything else. Drinks are a mixed bag for me. Their matcha (hot or iced) is solid, but I always need to sweeten it. The limeade was too bitter for my taste, and the rickey-style drink didn't quite hit my sweetness preference either. Chai (both hot and iced) is nice, but definitely add vanilla. Next on my list to try? The grilled cheese. I've been coming here for years, and the space is not big, but when it gets packed -- good luck. There are barstools facing the window and smaller tables throughout, but navigating the space can be tricky, so I wouldn't call it fully accessible. Still, the atmosphere makes up for a lot--it's got that community café element that I personally love. Overall, Homestead is the kind of place you want to experience for yourself: come for the food (which will always deliver), try the drinks with your own preferences in mind, and soak in the sense of community.
