We moved to CJ about 4 months ago. Finally decided to give this place a try. There's not many dining options in this town. We were sure glad we tried. The restaurant looks like it used to be a Denny's, but it has been decorated and painted to have a nice Asian ambiance. There are Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and even Hawaiian options. The food and service were spot on. My iced tea glass never got empty - and it was a hot day and I was thirsty! I had a Poké bowl special, a veggie sushi roll and some excellent hot & sour soup. My wife had the soup as well as Honey Walnut Prawns. Her Prawns were delicious. Huge!!! They were perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce. My Poké was fresh and delicious. It had rice, thinly sliced cukes, black and white sesame seeds and a tangy sauce. Yummalicious! The pickled veggies in the sushi roll were crispy & tangy and the roll was rolled well. The hot & sour soup was some of the better that I've had. All in all, way way better than I expected in a small town, pan-Asian joint. We will be eating here on a regular basis. Yummy!!! read more

I am visiting Cave junction for some time and have made this spot my go to. The sushi is the best I have had since living in Oregon! The restaurant is easy to access, has a clean friendly environment, and the food is fresh. They are a bit understaffed with only two waiters but they are very nice and accommodating. I have tried their pho and it was good but the pad thai was amazing. Generous portions. The food comes out pretty fast but when they are crowded it can take time especially since they handle to-go orders too. There is only one sushi chef working so expect to wait but the sushi is well worth the wait and I recommend it to everyone! The time on yelp is off. The restaurant no longer serves breakfast so they open at 12 and close at 10:30. I would recommend if you plan on eating here late 9:30-10:00 to place a togo order if you want something from the kitchen (anything besides sushi). read more

My wife and I really like this place and we eat here all the time. We have lived all over the country and this sushi competes. We like the Citrus fire, Las Vegas, Red dragon, Caterpillar rolls. I have tried the Various Chow meins and the Kung Pao chicken, General Tso's chicken and its pretty good. Our favorite is the Hot and sour soup, we ordered 3 large soups to go and one of the employees commented that it was a lot of soup, we thought it was a normal amount of soup, especially since we wanted second dinner later. The menu is large and so I am going to try other foods later, food seems pretty consistently good. The hours did recently change to 1200-1030. They are slightly understaffed but we are rarely in a hurry so it does not affect us. We get our food in a timely manner though even when its busy, water refills and checks may take awhile sometimes though. read more

For a small town, this is a great addition to the excellent restaurants already established. It is attached to the only hotel so is easy to find. They have American breakfast in the mornings and Sushi and Asian dishes afternoon to evening. Great selection for kids and vegetarians as well. They are very patient as I ask ALOT of questions, and extremely polite. The facility is recently remodeled, clean and comfortable. Really, really, really good. I will definitely be recommending to anyone I know passing through Cave Junction. I was sad to see the previous eatery in that location had closed, as I used to go there a lot with my dad growing up. But what has come in it's stead is really dang good. So far we have tried the orange chicken, teryaki chicken, chow mein, pork fried rice and California rolls. The only complaints I have are: 1.) Teryaki Chicken needs the sauce to be a little thicker. 2.) Please get to go soup cups because I want Miso Soup! We don't usually have time to dine in with our commute to and from work on top of chores at home. Still, even those two things considered, I still give this place 5 stars. It's so good I can't even break down why because it's all been good so far! Update: Due to getting home late, we decided to stop by and get a quick to go. Still delicious!
