Since the pandemic I've been using Uber eats a lot so last night I decided I wanted Bob Evans and boy was I sorry. First after almost an hour wait I get a call from my Uber driver that they didn't have any rolls ready would I accept biscuits? (OMG in the hour you had my order you couldn't make some rolls????) so I accepted that but then my Uber driver drops off my order and as I'm pulling things out the bag I realize I'm missing the salad I ordered . I go onto Uber website put in that I'm missing part of my meal and it says it is giving me back part of my money but I've yet to see that first and last time at this location read more

Love the determination of the hard working staff. However, they are understaffed and overworked at this location. Today is New Year's Day, and it's packed in here. You can tell the staff is stressed, but they are working hard. Great job. read more

I have never really been a fan of this chain of restaurants but I was taking a class across the street at the hotel and this was within walking distance so my partner and I went. the food was good( just on food though it would have been 3-4 stars) but I must say the server we had is what really made me change my views on how I thought about this chain...Tanya was amazing! coffee was always full, delivered our food hot and apologized for it running a little long , then after giving our check to us offered a couple cups of coffee to go to help us stay awake for our long class that day. This was a nice breakfast choice. My wife and I went to this place because it was close to our hotel and a short wait for service. The scrambled eggs with cheese were amazing and made me wish I ordered more. The biscuits tasted good as well. The hashbrowns were also good. I ordered cheese grits, but they tasted sad. So I just took two bites and gave up. My wife ordered coffee and had to request regular sugar for her coffee. Overall the staff was friendly and service nice but some dishes are okay not great. read more

We sat down at 11:30 this morning and was not served until 12:45. I ordered chicken and waffles because of the praline sauce. She brought the chicken and waffles cold with no praline sauce. My mother ordered pancakes and they did not have sugar free syrup (she's diabetic). The food was lukewarm and the manager tried to joke her way through the situation. The service was awful and my food was cold! Beachwood and Solon are the worst locations. Let's start with the wait. It took 10 minutes to be seated and another 5 minutes for the server to greet us at the table. Then, as I am ordering she tell me they are out of several items I wanted. Walked out. I stopped in on 7/22 at about 9pm (they are open until 10) for an easy late supper. Unfortunately the staff was more concerned with cleaning up than serving customers. I ordered pickup from here last night, and the order was full of issues. When I first drove away after picking up my order, I got halfway back to Solon when I just felt like something was missing. I pulled off the freeway to check, and sure enough the pie was missing from my to go bag. I drove back to Bob Evans, had to wait in line to tell them that my order was missing the pie (which was sitting on the counter with a few other items). I didn't think anything of it when they handed me the pie. It wasn't until I got home that I realize the mashed potatoes were missing gravy and they did not include dinner rolls for the meatloaf dinner. The order of eggs which were supposed to be cooked over medium were cooked over easy (and slimy), and the potatoes, which were supposed to be well done, we're barely cooked at all. Walked in at around 2:45 it took them about 10 minutes for them to even realize that we needed to be seated. Once we got seated the waitress took around 10 minutes to take our order. The waitress must of walked to the local shell station to get our drinks it took her forever! Most of the waitresses where sitting there on their phones. Then I don't even know what happened our waitress must of had the bowel movement of her life she completely disappeared for 45 minutes. We just ended up leaving. We just had breakfast here and both of us had the farmers choice with pancakes, eggs, hash browns and sausage. All were perfect. I had my hash browns loaded with cheese, bacon and sour cream. Our server was Marcy and everything came to the table piping hot within 10 minutes and the coffee was refreshed as needed. Overall, another excellent meal at Bob Evans just like our last experience at the one in Cranberry,PA. The restaurant was about half full and quiet and peaceful. Nice place to eat. read more

I would never ever ever ever visit this location again. We came in when there were 4 other tables, all with food. The hostess sat us at a table in the back a few tables away from a party of seniors already eating. We waited 27 minutes and still no one ever came to our table, not the server waiting on the ladies nor anyone else. I observed the manager and the hostess who sat us along with several servers laughing and joking near the beverage area. We finally left when the same hostess sat another table between us and the seniors and they were greeted and drinks ordered within 30 seconds of sitting down. We demanded to see the manager who only offered to have us sit for a free meal which we declined. August 10, 2014 - Sunday after church, my wife, and I went to the Bob Evans in Beach wood Ohio #0509 - We looked for the senior special on the menu and it was not there. After we placed our order, we had to wait until several people, who came in after us, was served. When we did get our order of scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns the eggs were two toned in color and the bacon was not crisp. I would swear that our order was re-heated more than one time during the long wait. We do not know if our waiter developed an attitude because we inquired why the senior citizen special was not on the menu. My wife and I are regular customers at the Bob Evans franchise restaurants. Took 40 minutes to get eggs and bacon, ridiculous. My server Rafael was terrible. Came by the table twice, once to take my order and 2nd to rush me to pay my check and leave him a tip. Went here before school to get some breakfast, the staff told me it would be a 15 minute wait. It ended up being a 30 minute wait for food that was undercooked and fruit that was spoiled. I went back for a refund since I was already late for school, and they told me I could only receive a refund within a 30 minute period of placing the order. Because it took them 30 minutes to make my food, there was no way of me receiving a refund. So I am left with a gift card to an establishment I never want to visit again. Thanks Bob Evans. read more

This was without a doubt one of the worst dining experiences of all time for our family. We were made to wait 20 min to be seated in a mostly empty restaurant and the hostess only seated us because we asked someone else for help. When she did seat us she threw our menus on the table and stomped off! The waitress was sweet but it took 20 more min for drinks and 30 more for the food. The only positives were the waitress being nice and the food quality. The same hostile hostess was very polite to another customer paying before us and absolutely hateful towards us. It was obvious she had a problem with our group and it was personal. I hope the manager reads this because it needs to be addressed. We will never eat there again. read more

Horrible service! My family were sitting at the table for 15 without anyone greeting us. I had to go to the hostess and ask if we had a waitress. 45 minutes after placing our order and no sign of our waitress, again I had to ask the hostess about our food. I was finally informed that the kitchen lost my food ticket, another 20 minutes we finally got our food and it was incorrect, the waitress never came back to check us or refill our drinks. This location has gone downhill. Soup was late to the table and served with a plastic spoon. A simple chicken tenders order took 45 minutes. A bowl (larger size) of soup was served in a shallow bowl that meant a small portion. The kitchen was clearly in disarray. Check was not brought to the table. Many other options in Beachwood, I would stay away. Only reason this isn't a "1" rating is that the waiter was nice and I think felt bad. read more

Terrible service! Hostess 'Tama' was lazy and literally got into an argument w/our waitress while she was taking our order over clearing tables. The waitress was busy, while the hostess just wanted to bark orders and wouldn't to anything to help out. Waitress came out and informed us that the salad my dining partner ordered was taking time because she was waiting on the chicken breast to be cooked for it. But that my burger and fries were ready if I wanted them! We stated no we came to have lunch together not sit there and watch the other eat because the kitchen could not get the orders ready together. When the meals came out there was no BBQ drizzled on the salad, per the menu, the fries were ice cold and burger not much better. Manager offered assistance and offered to make fresh fries said it would only take 3 minutes, I was hungry so agreed, unfortunately 10 minutes later when the fries showed up my burger was cold so I told him to take them back. He apologized, but you could tell he wasn't happy about doing it, and comped our meal. Hopefully he meant it as neither he or the waitress came back to our table. Wow. Worse BE experience ever. Came here for a quick, in and out breakfast. First, at 10:30 am there is a 25 minute wait with several tables open and plenty of wait staff (Yes, I do know what I am talking about). They took our order pretty fast, she is really trying, but no placemats or silverware, non clean. Table next to us is eating with plastic utensils. Two managers in site but I'm not seeing either being much help. Seems like a lot of wasted motion, and lots of coffee refilling. Almost an hour since we walked in food is here. No silverware yet. Yikes. Food is typical Bob Evans. Visited the restroom on the way out and made me think of vacations in developing countries: dirty, gross, streaks of who knows what in all surfaces. Not sure when the floors, baseboards or metal surfaces were cleaned last. Disgusting, not to even think about how unsanitary. Bob Evans should be better than this. read more

Poor service- the restaurant was mostly empty but we still had to wait 10 minutes because the staff could not be bothered to man the hostess stand and seat anyone. We asked for high chairs, and the hostess left us waiting while she wandered off to do other things before finally providing them. This seems to be a management issue because the entire front-of-house staff seemed apathetic and unmotivated. On the plus side, the food was OK and came out quickly- no issues there. read more

The managers and the waiters at this location suck. I went in as customer for dine in service and found out that they were hiring. But during my stay I noticed a African american blonde haired waitress cursing at her fellow employees in hear shot of all the customers including me. And there were two managers who heard her and laughed like it was ok. The new waiter training did better then my actual waiter.It's gonna take a miracle, but this location can do better. The managers and waiters need to be more attentive and sensitive to their surroundings. No one wants to hear foul language when they are eating dinner especially when there are young children around. My meal was great and the portion size was descent, but I trashed the application and left.I personally would never work at this location let alone eat there. read more
