I went out one weekday morning during a work trip in search of breakfast. My breakfast options were somewhat limited - the first breakfast place I attempted to visit - did not accept American Express - and I was out of cash. So I went to the Bob Evans closest to my hotel. I ordered an omelette with a side of bacon, and coffee. The omelette came out - with a side of hash browns - which were incredibly greasy, soggy, and not even on the hot side. And definitely not crispy. And my side of bacon was missing. I asked where my bacon was - the server apologized and fetched the bacon. The omelette itself was very average, and the coffee was weak. The bacon was the only enjoyable part of the meal. My server was very forgetful. I won't be back here again. #BobEvans

    Undercooked eggs

This might be the worst dining experience I've ever had. First of all, my mom's eggs and hash browns were undercooked, and brought out 20 minutes before my breakfast. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, and waited 45 minutes for it. They attempted to recook her eggs, but returned them still runny, and on the same dirty plate. Our server was apathetic at best, dismissive at worst. Never returning.

I was disappointed! I ordered 2 meals. The roast dinner had more carrots than meat. It was literally 3 fork fulls of roast. I've dined in before and the portion was better.

I used to like Bob Evans, but I think it depends on which one you visit. The one in Cleveland Hts on Cedar is really tasty but this one was...meh, at best. My food was not hot, the eggs were not cooked to my specification, the pancakes reminded me of cardboard with syrup and the service was butt awful. They switched on us twice and neither wanted womanto get anything except when it came to the daggone bill. I usually call the manager when I am so disappointed, but this time, no tip was a better message. Peace!

Half Raw Bob Evans Burger with Soggy Bun

Never Again worse Bob Evans Meals Ever I ordered a cheeseburger for myself and it was cooked till half raw when I told them well done and no tomatoes they put them on there anyway on the bottom of the bun along with lettuce bun got wet and soggy burger was light colored and red on the inside I don't eat raw meat smdh. Ordered a turkey dinner for my mom she said it was tuff and they put very little gravy on it, my dad's roast beef looked like beef from a can they gave him 2 table spoons of roast I took all this back and got a refund I will never return as a customer

This was OK, not the best and but not horrible (at least for us). A bit of a wait to get in, plenty of food choices (except they don't serve grits after 11am, boo), it was crowded with people waiting when we left but there were un-bussed tables inside, maybe they had people call in sick that day. One couple left after waiting 15 minutes and nobody showed up to take their order, the table next to us called the waitress back after delivering the food as the turkey sandwich didn't have any turkey. We lucked out I guess, no issues, food came fairly fast, price was OK, it was like a mid-tier restaurant, a good place to stop for a quick bite to eat

For brunch, my go to is the biscuits and gravy. The gravy has a good heat to it and the biscuits are flaky and buttery. For lunch, the buddha bowl and chicken & avocado sandwich are both elevated classics. My husband raves about the fish sandwich - and the salad that comes as a side is anything but simple. When you enter, you'll order with the cashier and then find a seat with your number. Typical counter service - but what makes Northstar special is that the interior feels more like fine dining and the food is much much better than your standard fare. Worth a trip for its own merits, the fact that it's located in a nice shopping area is also a draw, especially for a weekend when you want to have a leisurely stroll.

You enter and order at the counter and then get a table. We were not planning on desserts but while ordering our food, they got fresh cookies and we had to order two. It was definitely the best decision of the day. Portions are good here and dishes are well prepared with perfect combination of textures and tastes. I especially loved the sweet potato hash. Frittata was good too. We also had hot chocolate and hot apple cider... Perfect for the cold January morning. Overall we liked this place and highly recommend it.

Our server was great, suggesting items since it was our first time here. We started with the Gem lettuce salad to share. The dressing was delicious and it was a good portion to share as a starter for 3 people. I had the Petite Filet for dinner which was cooked perfectly. The asparagus on the side was very charred. The plating of the dish was also lacking. The lobster roll sandwich plate was very empty. The sweet potato was great and the crème Fraiche was so good. My friends enjoyed their sandwiches. To my surprise there was a Restaurant in a glass atrium and gave me vibes of being back in Orange County, CA or LA. We had reservations at 11:30 am. and arrived at 11:15 am. We were asked to wait. There seemed to be a lot of employees walking around and many tables were open but seemingly still had to wait. So 15 minutes later we were taken to our table. The air conditioning was definitely on point so bring a jacket. Our server warmly welcomed us and wished me well for Father's Day. Shockingly the restaurant didn't do anything special for fathers as a complimentary gesture. The server took our drink orders and waters came within minutes and after that everything went into "SLOW MODE". My daughter's Cesar salad came in about 20 minutes from the order. Our main entrees came out (1) Hour after the salad and my lamb chops and potatoes were warm at best. The flavor for the lamb-chops were wonderful but the potatoes were very salty. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The ambiance is amazing but I would say that we would return. The food was fine except for my temperature but our issue was predominantly the wait time. Happy Father's Day

She was hesitant to choose this place at first because she wanted more options than just burgers/sandwiches. Thankfully we found some Google images of the menu that had rice bowls. Friend ordered a salmon rice bowl and I ordered their famous donut burger. I thought the donut was a little too small and skinny for the price at $14. Also, this is a big kicker--no fries or sides! Within the burger, just a square of Kraft cheese, some bacon, smash burger type patty (2) but no onions, tomatoes or even cucumbers (or pickles). The value is just not it for this. Did it taste good? It did but I needed more of a crunch. Just 1 or 2 slices of raw onion would've been good. Oooooh or like crispy haystack onion straws would be perfect. Server said fries were an additional $5. Okay, no thanks! The place was really loud. It echoed slightly and just the clientele were extremely rowdy on a non-holiday Wednesday evening. It took a while to get seated, for server to even come over to take our order and to request our check. Not very impressed with the experience.

No Fork Beachwood is a restaurant in Beachwood. It used to be a very casual establishment until…read morerecent innovations. It now looks like a sit down restaurant with a bar and ample seating. I didn't even recognize it at first from my previous visit. While the restaurant has a nice new face, I wasn't impressed with my time here. AMBIENCE: The restaurant has a posh new look. It's one open space with plenty of natural light. The front of the restaurant has booths and tables. The bar is towards the back. Decor includes faux marble, white and red tones, occasional neons and No Fork wall. The decor doesn't quite go together. The atmosphere is very casual. The entry to the restaurant is awkward. The front door does not open due to some issue with concrete. Only the back door is available for entry. The back of the building has random garbage. The back of the restaurant stacked boxes. It's not a welcoming entrance. FOOD: I ordered Donut Burger ($13.75) and Smash Burger ($13.75). Burgers do not come with any sides like fries. There are really no sides to add from the menu unless you want to try appetizers (or shareables on the menu). Donut Burger is a creative concept but has poor execution. In theory, it would be a great idea for someone who is craving sweet and savory morning options. The donut tasted stale, cheese low grade, and skinny bacon that was not restaurant grade. Smash burger was on the dry side and not appetizing. The ingredients are not high quality. It really impacts the quality of the meal. These burgers are the equivalent of something that I would expect at a fast food place not a restaurant. The menu also features shareables, Philly, pi boys, wraps, and comfort dishes. SERVICE: The service wasn't impressive. I have to give credit where credit is due - food was cooked quickly (maybe 10 minutes). Other than that, there was no customer focus. No one asked me if I wanted anything to drink (even water) as I waited for my to go order at the bar. No one explained the menu to offer shareables to go with burgers. Employees were more interested in looking at their phones and socializing. PARKING: Parking is available at the front and back of the plaza. There is plenty of space. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my experience at No Fork. The food was not delicious and seemed to utilize the cheapest ingredients. The service was mediocre. If you're looking for casual bites with a bar option, try it out. Unfortunately, I didn't find any reasons to return.
