I went out one weekday morning during a work trip in search of breakfast. My breakfast options were somewhat limited - the first breakfast place I attempted to visit - did not accept American Express - and I was out of cash. So I went to the Bob Evans closest to my hotel. I ordered an omelette with a side of bacon, and coffee. The omelette came out - with a side of hash browns - which were incredibly greasy, soggy, and not even on the hot side. And definitely not crispy. And my side of bacon was missing. I asked where my bacon was - the server apologized and fetched the bacon. The omelette itself was very average, and the coffee was weak. The bacon was the only enjoyable part of the meal. My server was very forgetful. I won't be back here again. #BobEvans

This might be the worst dining experience I've ever had. First of all, my mom's eggs and hash browns were undercooked, and brought out 20 minutes before my breakfast. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, and waited 45 minutes for it. They attempted to recook her eggs, but returned them still runny, and on the same dirty plate. Our server was apathetic at best, dismissive at worst. Never returning.

I was disappointed! I ordered 2 meals. The roast dinner had more carrots than meat. It was literally 3 fork fulls of roast. I've dined in before and the portion was better.

I used to like Bob Evans, but I think it depends on which one you visit. The one in Cleveland Hts on Cedar is really tasty but this one was...meh, at best. My food was not hot, the eggs were not cooked to my specification, the pancakes reminded me of cardboard with syrup and the service was butt awful. They switched on us twice and neither wanted womanto get anything except when it came to the daggone bill. I usually call the manager when I am so disappointed, but this time, no tip was a better message. Peace!

Half Raw Bob Evans Burger with Soggy Bun

Never Again worse Bob Evans Meals Ever I ordered a cheeseburger for myself and it was cooked till half raw when I told them well done and no tomatoes they put them on there anyway on the bottom of the bun along with lettuce bun got wet and soggy burger was light colored and red on the inside I don't eat raw meat smdh. Ordered a turkey dinner for my mom she said it was tuff and they put very little gravy on it, my dad's roast beef looked like beef from a can they gave him 2 table spoons of roast I took all this back and got a refund I will never return as a customer

This was OK, not the best and but not horrible (at least for us). A bit of a wait to get in, plenty of food choices (except they don't serve grits after 11am, boo), it was crowded with people waiting when we left but there were un-bussed tables inside, maybe they had people call in sick that day. One couple left after waiting 15 minutes and nobody showed up to take their order, the table next to us called the waitress back after delivering the food as the turkey sandwich didn't have any turkey. We lucked out I guess, no issues, food came fairly fast, price was OK, it was like a mid-tier restaurant, a good place to stop for a quick bite to eat

Very long wait. Staff good. Waitress was excellent in spite of everything. Food just okay. Clearly an employment issue.

Our server was great, suggesting items since it was our first time here. We started with the Gem lettuce salad to share. The dressing was delicious and it was a good portion to share as a starter for 3 people. I had the Petite Filet for dinner which was cooked perfectly. The asparagus on the side was very charred. The plating of the dish was also lacking. The lobster roll sandwich plate was very empty. The sweet potato was great and the crème Fraiche was so good. My friends enjoyed their sandwiches. She checked on us consistently and handled an increasingly frustrating situation with real professionalism. She deserves a raise. Now for the rest of it. We were seated at 5:00 PM for what we hoped would be a lovely dinner. Our steaks didn't arrive until 7:30. Two and a half hours. For steaks. We watched other tables turn over. We finished our drinks. We ran out of things to talk about while waiting. The front-of-house team kept apologizing, and we appreciated that -- but apologies don't cook food. When the steaks finally landed on the table, they were rare. We had ordered medium. At that point, it was 7:30, we were starving, and sending them back wasn't a realistic option -- we'd have been eating at 9:00 PM. So we cut into undercooked steaks and made the best of it. When we raised the issue, the manager offered 30% off the bill. For a two-and-a-half-hour wait and improperly prepared food we had no real choice but to accept? That felt like a gesture designed to close the conversation rather than actually make things right. RH Rooftop has all the ingredients for a special night out -- the atmosphere is unmatched and the service staff clearly cares. But the kitchen isn't operating at the level this room demands, and management's idea of accountability falls short. Cocktails at sunset? Absolutely. Dinner with any real expectations? Not yet.

There are a 3 booths along the windows and a few 2 seat tables, a long boothish table along the kitchen and a bar area that wraps and gives about 8 seats or so. It can become crowded fast. We sat in the back booth by the windows. Which ended up being cold. We got a breeze. Not sure if it was the air conditioning or the windows, but it was cold. Menu is standard YTR. Price point is around $14 average. They have salads, soups, sandwiches including burgers and chicken, wraps, and entrees that are around the $18 price. Most of the menu is ala carte. So sandwich doesn't come with anything. You have to order separate. There are a few exceptions. Broil-lite options come with a salad and the small burger comes with cottage fries. Also they have a bar and some specials throughout the month. I got the small burger. Now it's suppose to be a 1/4 pound. Regular burgers are a half pound. I just didn't want that much. So I was thinking that be fine. In my mind I thought it would look like a 1/4 pound patty on a regular bun. And it comes with cottage fries. It's all good. I. Basically got a thick slider on a slider bun. It looked odd. Thicker than a normal slider but about 3 bites. And it was so thick that the burger and lettuce, tomato and pickles kept sliding off when I bit it. This a was not at all what I pictured. I would have been fine with a thinner burger on a regular bun. Which is what I pictured I'd get. The cottage fries were fine. I got a decent amount. Now the burger didn't taste bad. It was just small and thick. Note to self never get that again. My partner got the envelope with hummus and chicken. It is stuffed well and large. Good enough for 2 meals. She also ordered a side of the cottage fries. It's a good healthier alternative to some of the sandwiches. Service was just ok. I had to stop our server to ask for a drink refill when she kept passing us and the empty glass was right there. She also took a bit to take our order. But she apologized for the wait. That was fine. As we left the guy who was cooking said goodbye to us and to be safe. The snow was coming down. That was nice. Overall, the experience was just mediocre. Nothing stands out as great. Food just ok. Service kinda meh. We ate and left. Oh and the bathroom was super hot. The restaurant was cold. The bathroom was a sauna. They should probably look into that. I'll probably eat here or at 1 of the many locations again. But it's just ok.
