Turkey club 1/ 2 and chicken ranch salad
    Michelle A.

We were enroute from Fort Knox, KY to MN. Stopped here as spouse has liked their mashed potatoes found in the grocery stores. There are no Bob Evans in MN. I ordered a pick 2 lunch special of 1/2 turkey club sandwich and chicken ranch salad. You also get bread with your meal. I chose banana bread and brought a piece back. The meal was good and I didn't much bread. Spouse had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Bought a loaf of blueberry glaze bread for $4.99 to bring home.

Anytime I am in Ohio, I MUST stop at Bob Evans to get a Sunshine Skillet. I know it is not the epitome of health food, but I give myself the license to enjoy it. Our server was very pleasant and thorough. She seemed to anticipate our needs. I don't expect "ambiance" when I visit this family diner. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms.

The restaurant was a little slow for a Thursday night dinner crowd but construction in the area has been heavy. We seated immediately and our waitress checked on us pretty reliably at first. The menu selections were plentiful and the price points were all over the place. They had 2 for 22.95 dining selections that came with a small size entree and soup or salad started and a shareable dessert at the end. It doesn't state the entrees are the blue plate specials they have but it's obvious that's what they are. You can buy the blue plate special for 8.99. They also had the pick two for 8.99 which is a pretty decent deal with pretty decent selections and the portion size is pretty decent as well. I went with the chicken and noodles w/ mashed taters and biscuit for that comes with your choice of fresh banana bread or fresh yeast rolls for a little over $10. My wife had the pick two and went for the 1/2 turkey sandwich and the cranberry salad with banana bread for $8.99. Bob Evan's has a rewards app now that will have coupons from time to time and also will let you rack up points for your purchases. I was fortunate and found a $3 off coupon on my app I could use. The service was a little slow once business picked up but this restaurant always has staffing issues. The young lady who was our server was very young but very pleasant and polite. The food was delicious and the bread was fresh and warm. For what we spent and the quality food we received from a chain restaurant we were delighted.

everything. everything could improve. personally i got the chicken noodle soup. do not make that mistake. it was a waste of money, salty, they had noodles as thick as fingers and they were soggy as wet bed in the rain. the best thing about my meal was the well done fries, but they gave me a 4 dollar side that was on a small plate. never recommend.

    Chicken-N-Noodles

The Chicken-N-Noodles Soup was really bad, the noodles taste like soggy bread, the soup was super salty, and it looked inedible . The chicken and carrots were okay.

I'm a regular and we appreciate this location because they respect the constitution. Also, never failed us yet with some good breakfast food! Wonderful servers every time! Thanks for always making out kids feel safe they are having a hard time with lockdowns and masks. Both have autism and sensory processing disorder which makes it nearly impossible to go out unless I want to normalize it and yell at my kids for not wearing one. I choose not to and I thank you deeply for allowing us to eat there occasionally without a big fuss my kids are not something to be feared and I don't feel they should have to live in fear either. Happy Holidays to all of you!

The parking lot is a mess and the sidewalks are crumbling. Chris is a small hole in the wall place, not fancy or upscale, but the food is amazing and Chris' family is welcoming and genuine. The menu hangs above cases of fried chicken, fish and potato wedges. Gizzards are a popular menu item. Chris takes your order. My husband wants a 3-piece chicken meal with cole slaw. I select a Buffalo chicken wrap that comes with fries. Ricardo, Chris' son, comes out and asks how spicy hot I want my chicken and I ask for mild. Wow, what great service! They tell us to grab some drinks and have a seat. The dining area is small with three or four tables that seat two. Most people come in for carry out. Chris laughs and jokes with a customer in Spanish as he cooks. I sip mango nectar. My husband's 3-piece meal has four pieces of fried chicken with a cup of cole slaw. The chicken is hot, crispy and moist, not too salty, perfect. The fried batter is thick and flavorful. This is great fried chicken. The slaw is finely chopped and creamy. My wrap with fries comes out on a beautiful white platter. The wrap is huge, and the chicken fresh, hot and moist with lots of crispy lettuce. The fries are batter fried and fresh. The portions are generous. My meal was delicious. Ricardo and his sister checked on us a couple times, thanked us for coming and told us their story. I felt like family. The food is easy 5 stars, as is the service. I'll be back. I want to try the fish next.

The food, service and atmosphere are all incredible. Our fave dishes are the cinnamon roll French toast and smoked salmon omelette. We get them and split them so we both get sweet and savory breakfasts! The CRFT is always cooked perfectly, never soggy and doesn't need any syrup. The smoked salmon omelette over flows with smoked salmon and creamy dill sauce, it's to die for. Stop in for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed!

We split a bowl of soup and they kindly served it in separate bowls for us, which I appreciated. The soup of the day was corn chowder and wow, I was surprised how good it was, I do love soups. I'd never tried corn chowder before, but it was creamy, flavorful, and comforting. I ordered the half salad/half sandwich combo. The smoked salmon niçoise salad had a blend of interesting flavors and the dressing paired perfectly with it. For the sandwich, I chose the BLTEA, and unfortunately this was the disappointing part of the meal. The avocado on it was clearly overripe/bad, so dark, mushy, and it gave the sandwich an unpleasant taste. I removed as much as I could, but it still affected the flavor. It was a bummer because this spot usually tastes very fresh. I've had it before and the avocado was fresh, along with the orchard salad which I loved. I would say the orchard salad is my fave. They make their dressings homemade and the dressing for the orchard salad was delicious. The service was still very friendly, and since they were slammed busy, I didn't feel like making a fuss about it. Everything else we had was enjoyable. The inside is small and quaint since it's a house turned restaurant, so it has a cozy but lively ambiance when crowded. One of the best perks here is definitely the made from scratch desserts. I love checking out the dessert case because the staff will happily explain each option and answer questions. There's something oddly satisfying about watching them slice the desserts too. I took a lemon cheesecake to go and absolutely loved it. I've also tried the blackberry wine cake which is a staple and delicious. A seasonal dessert that was really good was the pumpkin pie. You really can't go wrong with home made desserts here.

I was fortunate enough to make a last minute reservation on open table (yay!) and we had an excellent table on the patio overlooking the water! Unfortunately our cocktails and food were average and honestly lacked a lot of flavor, but I will keep returning for the patio! We sat on the patio, and although the shades were closed earlier in the day, they opened them later once the weather warmed up, which made the vibe even better. Our server was very nice and attentive, especially with our large group. We ordered a half mimosa tower, and I really enjoyed it. I also tried Rico's Coffee from the brunch menu, which was so good and paired perfectly with the brunch vibe. I ordered the French toast platter, which came with four pieces of French toast, scrambled eggs, brunch potatoes, and bacon. It was delicious and so filling that I had to get a to-go box. The yogurt parfait was also really good, and everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their food and drinks, including the Bloody Mary options and tea. We ordered liquid marijuana shots as a group and these were great. One thing to note: we brought a cake for our friend and didn't know there was a $25 outside cake fee, so be aware of that if you plan to bring your own dessert. After brunch, we walked around the beautiful grounds, and a few of us stayed longer on the patio. The high-top seating wasn't the most comfortable, but the drinks and appetizers made up for it. The whiskey sour was good, and we enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, shrimp, and Rico's dip. This turned into an all-day affair with good food, drinks, beautiful weather, and great company. A really nice spot for brunch, celebrations, and patio time.

From the service to the atmosphere to the amazing food/ drink, 10/10!! 1. Atmosphere- The atmosphere was very modern, new, clean, welcoming, and home-y. I loved it! What I loved most was the stark difference of space between this location and their Eastside location. There was so much more space to be seated, order, and move around. I didn't feel too crowded or removed from the rest of the restaurant. 2. Service- The service was A1! Our waitress, Brandy, was phenomenal. She was timely, inviting, and nice. The other restaurant workers were also very nice and welcoming. 3. FOOD- The food?? Bussin! OMG. They outdid themselves during this last visit! I have been plotting my next visit ever since we left lol! So my son got the chicken wing dinner with fries. I got a the chicken wing and fried catfish combo dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. My girlfriend got the fried catfish dinner with sweet potatoes and baked beans. We also got a side of macaroni and cheese and greens for good measure. We all also chose to receive a cornbread muffin with our meals. Yall... I'm not exaggerating I literally loved all of the food. The chicken wings reminded me of the homemade fried ones that I used to love so much when I was younger. My son tore his wings up, and he's a picky eater . So that says a lot. The fries were surprisingly so delish. Perfectly cooked. My FAVORITE side was the sweet potatoes!! I'm not even a big sweet potato girl but they were too good! I can't wait to slide my fork back through those smh ‍. This fish is and will always be a hit with me, and I'll always recommend it. I didn't get a picture, but they make an Uptown (sweet tea/ lemonade mix) that is soooo FIRE ! That is a must have from here forth. Lastly, for dessert we had their sweet potato cheesecake. Also, delicious! His Place easily earned all 5 of their stars.

This will become a Indy staple, if it isn't already.
