Turkey club 1/ 2 and chicken ranch salad
    Michelle A.

We were enroute from Fort Knox, KY to MN. Stopped here as spouse has liked their mashed potatoes found in the grocery stores. There are no Bob Evans in MN. I ordered a pick 2 lunch special of 1/2 turkey club sandwich and chicken ranch salad. You also get bread with your meal. I chose banana bread and brought a piece back. The meal was good and I didn't much bread. Spouse had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Bought a loaf of blueberry glaze bread for $4.99 to bring home.

Anytime I am in Ohio, I MUST stop at Bob Evans to get a Sunshine Skillet. I know it is not the epitome of health food, but I give myself the license to enjoy it. Our server was very pleasant and thorough. She seemed to anticipate our needs. I don't expect "ambiance" when I visit this family diner. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms.

Everything breakfast is really good. Taco platter is really good. Cinnamon biscuits is good too.

The food was amazing, same great flavors of chicken and noodles. Chopped steak and mushrooms. Salads as sides just full of everything and fresh. The service was incredible. They made sure to place customers in various areas providing a great opportunity to relax and talk quietly.

The restaurant was a little slow for a Thursday night dinner crowd but construction in the area has been heavy. We seated immediately and our waitress checked on us pretty reliably at first. The menu selections were plentiful and the price points were all over the place. They had 2 for 22.95 dining selections that came with a small size entree and soup or salad started and a shareable dessert at the end. It doesn't state the entrees are the blue plate specials they have but it's obvious that's what they are. You can buy the blue plate special for 8.99. They also had the pick two for 8.99 which is a pretty decent deal with pretty decent selections and the portion size is pretty decent as well. I went with the chicken and noodles w/ mashed taters and biscuit for that comes with your choice of fresh banana bread or fresh yeast rolls for a little over $10. My wife had the pick two and went for the 1/2 turkey sandwich and the cranberry salad with banana bread for $8.99. Bob Evan's has a rewards app now that will have coupons from time to time and also will let you rack up points for your purchases. I was fortunate and found a $3 off coupon on my app I could use. The service was a little slow once business picked up but this restaurant always has staffing issues. The young lady who was our server was very young but very pleasant and polite. The food was delicious and the bread was fresh and warm. For what we spent and the quality food we received from a chain restaurant we were delighted.

everything. everything could improve. personally i got the chicken noodle soup. do not make that mistake. it was a waste of money, salty, they had noodles as thick as fingers and they were soggy as wet bed in the rain. the best thing about my meal was the well done fries, but they gave me a 4 dollar side that was on a small plate. never recommend.

    Chicken-N-Noodles

The Chicken-N-Noodles Soup was really bad, the noodles taste like soggy bread, the soup was super salty, and it looked inedible . The chicken and carrots were okay.

The parking lot is a mess and the sidewalks are crumbling. Chris is a small hole in the wall place, not fancy or upscale, but the food is amazing and Chris' family is welcoming and genuine. The menu hangs above cases of fried chicken, fish and potato wedges. Gizzards are a popular menu item. Chris takes your order. My husband wants a 3-piece chicken meal with cole slaw. I select a Buffalo chicken wrap that comes with fries. Ricardo, Chris' son, comes out and asks how spicy hot I want my chicken and I ask for mild. Wow, what great service! They tell us to grab some drinks and have a seat. The dining area is small with three or four tables that seat two. Most people come in for carry out. Chris laughs and jokes with a customer in Spanish as he cooks. I sip mango nectar. My husband's 3-piece meal has four pieces of fried chicken with a cup of cole slaw. The chicken is hot, crispy and moist, not too salty, perfect. The fried batter is thick and flavorful. This is great fried chicken. The slaw is finely chopped and creamy. My wrap with fries comes out on a beautiful white platter. The wrap is huge, and the chicken fresh, hot and moist with lots of crispy lettuce. The fries are batter fried and fresh. The portions are generous. My meal was delicious. Ricardo and his sister checked on us a couple times, thanked us for coming and told us their story. I felt like family. The food is easy 5 stars, as is the service. I'll be back. I want to try the fish next.

Back to the meal...since it was my lunch before a yoga class, I took my lunch to Carmel, IN (USA). As I'm trying my best to depict how juicy, tender, & zero what's that I'm chewing on in a typical hamburger wasn't a thing for me, simply won't suffice. It was still warm & freaking delicious. TBH, the standard of bison reminded me of a restaurant in Custard Park. SD (USA), Ford's prolly better. Why? Bc I ate this burger yesterday, Custard Park was last year ;). The fixings is what I found most delightful. Ford's bison burger is a perfect blend of deliciousness. Exactly crafted by a staple of our beautiful country, America...became inspiring to this Hoosier. I was looking for a local, non-chain breakfast spot, and this place absolutely hit the spot!…read more As soon as I was escorted to my table, I was immediately distracted by the bakery case filled with fresh-baked desserts. They had everything from cookies and pies to cakes, and I especially loved that they offered so many single-serving dessert options. I ordered the two-egg breakfast and asked for my eggs to be scrambled with cheese. My plate arrived with delicious honey oat toast and what were, without a doubt, the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The texture was perfect! I had forgotten to ask for them crispy, but there was no need--they were lightly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. I really appreciate when the cheese is folded throughout the eggs instead of just being sprinkled on top as an afterthought. It's a small detail that makes a big difference. I'm going to be honest--the table next to me ordered the biscuits and gravy, and I could see the huge chunks of sausage from my seat! It looked so good that I had to order an additional side of biscuits and gravy to go, along with a sausage patty. I can't wait to dig into it later. I'll definitely be back. My only regret is that I didn't bring anyone with me! The portions are generous, and this is the kind of place where it's fun to share a few dishes so everyone can sample something different. If you're looking for a locally owned breakfast spot with great food, generous portions, and an incredible bakery, Bread and Breakfast Cafe & Bakery is absolutely worth a visit.

We split a bowl of soup and they kindly served it in separate bowls for us, which I appreciated. The soup of the day was corn chowder and wow, I was surprised how good it was, I do love soups. I'd never tried corn chowder before, but it was creamy, flavorful, and comforting. I ordered the half salad/half sandwich combo. The smoked salmon niçoise salad had a blend of interesting flavors and the dressing paired perfectly with it. For the sandwich, I chose the BLTEA, and unfortunately this was the disappointing part of the meal. The avocado on it was clearly overripe/bad, so dark, mushy, and it gave the sandwich an unpleasant taste. I removed as much as I could, but it still affected the flavor. It was a bummer because this spot usually tastes very fresh. I've had it before and the avocado was fresh, along with the orchard salad which I loved. I would say the orchard salad is my fave. They make their dressings homemade and the dressing for the orchard salad was delicious. The service was still very friendly, and since they were slammed busy, I didn't feel like making a fuss about it. Everything else we had was enjoyable. The inside is small and quaint since it's a house turned restaurant, so it has a cozy but lively ambiance when crowded. One of the best perks here is definitely the made from scratch desserts. I love checking out the dessert case because the staff will happily explain each option and answer questions. There's something oddly satisfying about watching them slice the desserts too. I took a lemon cheesecake to go and absolutely loved it. I've also tried the blackberry wine cake which is a staple and delicious. A seasonal dessert that was really good was the pumpkin pie. You really can't go wrong with home made desserts here.

I had heard the hype of Rick's for so long, I had imagined it would be better. My husband had the pork chop, which had no flavor. I had the halibut, the best part about it was the sauce.
