This place was hopping on a Saturday morning, but we were lucky enough to score a table for the eight of us without a wait. Our waitress Delaney was a very sweet girl and tried hard to keep us happpy despite having tables all across the restaurant. I ordered the Cuban tostada with the greens as a side and it was delicious as always. the greens are a spring mix served with a house dressing that is actually quite tasty and light. The tostada is nice and crunchy, topped with flovorful pork and black beans among other things. On top is the sunny side egg (for me it's over medium) and this combination may sound odd, but it definitely works. The coffee is excellent here I must say. I drank a bucket of it. The muffin of the day was blueberry and of course I just had to have one. It was served warm with butter on the side. Yes, that is the way to go. Among the dishes my guests enjoyed were the lox board, The Dutch Baby pancake, chicken and waffles and the coffee cake... all was deemed delish. I will take their word for it since they are usually a rather picky bunch.

1/2 order of Monday Blues... blueberry and granola pancakes

I had breakfast at LePeeps this morning. It's been around 15 years since I ate there and it was just as I remembered. I had the Monday Blues which are identical to the granola blues they used to have but there are 6 pancakes instead of 2 super larger pancakes. When they were large pancakes, you could just get one so today I asked if I could get a 1/2 order and the server said no problem. I could not finish a half order! Overall, I was really happy with the pancakes. The coffee there is also a plus. Service was quick. The place is bright and clean. I will go back. Great breakfast stop for people heading into Eagle Creek!

French toast sticks come with 3 dipping sauces. They arrive at your table super hot because they are deep fried.

We got there after the Sunday breakfast rush and thought the open spots in the parking lot were a sign that we could pop in for a quick brunch. 90 minutes later, we were back in our car commiserating over the lengthy wait for our food. Must have been short-staffed in the kitchen; long waits are a persistent issue for this location, which is why it has been years since our last visit. My companion received his food well before mine. I think the server realized we were growing impatient. That being said, the food was good and the service was pleasant. We would have appreciated another round of coffee during our long wait. We did not partake, but they were serving mimosas. A simple breakfast for two people was just over $40.

Food is delicious and generous portions, the service was a bit slow, but our service industry needs grace specially when they are short staffed. Ambiance was great, nice and quiet.

I came here with my daughters in. Thursday for lunch. Very slow and the hostess abs waiter were very attentive. Unfortunately I wasn't eating (10 day cleanse) but I'm reporting from my daughters and sister. One had Salmon bowl with over medium eggs. She said that is tasted good and looked like a nice portion. The other the B.L.A.T and by the way I look over she enjoyed it. She did say there was only one tomato for such a large sandwich. My sister had the road warrior, her favorite. So clearly it's good. Everyone reported the food was fresh and hot, which for me is very imperative. See the pics and judge for yourself.

I've been looking for a good weekend brunch spot that's not downtown or broad ripple and I always forget about Le Peep. I've only ever been here for lunch before but today I got breakfast and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the southwest omelette and it was awesome! It was stuffed with chorizo, peppers, onion, and cheese and topped with the best avocado crema. I need to find out how to make avocado crema because this one has me hooked. I also got a pineapple mimosa but they have classic OJ and peach too which I'll try another next time but pineapple was divine. Only 4 starts because when we first arrived the hostess wasn't friendly and didn't greet us, smile, or even say a word to let us know to follow her as she took us to our table. Our waitress was very sweet and apologized for a wait because they were super busy. I'm happy to have found a great brunch spot on the outskirts of the city! Looking forward to returning.

Good choice for breakfast. Good service from our waitress, Katie. Great price for the portions. A little of a wait, but they do have a small espresso/mimosa bar just inside. You can grab a drink while you wait. The pancakes are super fluffy. The home fries are a little too crisp for my liking, but I do enjoy the seasonings they use. My husband loves their oatmeal. Filled with fruit and a side of toast, it was quite filling to him.

Had a really great time here while on tour. It's sometimes hard to find a place to do lots of coffee and be patient with 8 people. Our server, while very young, was excellent. I know they were having hiring issues but never felt like we were out of coffee or the food was delayed. The food was really delicious, we even able to talk menu with the server and it was all great. The veg bowl with egg was SO good. It was just about the amount of food I needed and they had multiple hot sauces to boot. On our way out, our server even gave us coffee to go. Great place, will keep this in the rolodex of places to go on tour.

I was in the mood for a Dutch Baby Pancake so I thought I'd check out this location right off of West 71st Street on Intech Commons Drive. It is located right off of I-465 with easy access on and off. They are adhering to social distancing with servers wearing masks and sanitizing of tables between guests. The atmosphere is comfy with many 4-top tables and a small room for business meeting or groups. They also have a full service coffee and juice bar for dine-in or carryout. Le Peeps has seven locations in the surrounding Indianapolis area, serves brunch, breakfast and lunch items and closes at 3:00 p.m. Soups and salads, burgers and sandwiches, breakfast skillets, egg dishes, waffles, Dutch baby pancakes and several omelettes are just a few of the entrees on the menu. They do serve bloody Mary's, mimosas, craft beer, wine and Circle City Kombucha plus designer juices. I had the Dutch Pancake served with fruit and bacon and it was very good. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he enjoyed it as well. I didn't try the designer juices but the mixtures looked interesting. The Bloody Mary's are tasty without being overly spicy. Our server was friendly and took great care of us. She checked on us several times throughout breakfast, removed used dishes quickly and we never felt rushed. We'll definitely visit here again when we're in the neighborhood.

Gatsby's has become one of my staples after my PCP or Rayus appointments since it's just across the street in the strip center behind Starbucks. I selected the basket of calamari, which was the perfect size to fill me up enough till early evening. It arrived very quickly, nice and hot. The calamari was lightly golden brown and not overcooked, which I appreciated. I know many people like a very crispy calamari, but I do prefer obviously cooked but lightly crispy. My server, Dee S., was terrific as always and checked on me several times. I've been coming in for many years, and she has become familiar with my habits and orders as all good servers do. The restaurant is decorated top to bottom in scary ghosts, hanging, bloody body parts, frightening Dracula's, skeletons, and well distributed spider webs, especially on the long mirror above the upper booths. There are actually dying, small tree limbs loaded with leaves and secured tightly to the ceiling, which provide a very authentic fall effect with the dried up leaves with the colorful hanging decor. Nice job, and your hard work is appreciated. Nice location to stop after work for a drink with friends. See you next time.

The restaurant was busy, and became even busier as we were dinning. There were only two servers for the entire restaurant. We waited quite a while for our order to be taken. We actually saw three different tables get up and leave the restaurant because no one came to take their order. The table next to us waited a while as well. When the server finally came to their table, she said, " I'll get to you when I can." We had a different server from the table next to us. Our server got our order wrong and our bill was incorrect. The restaurant has around 13 TVs, making it a great place to watch sporting events. As mentioned this was Sunday after the INDY 500. Being broadcast while we were at Gatsby was the replay of the Indy 500, the NASCAR race, the Pacers pre-game for the eastern finals. Gatsby had the Indy 500 on one TV. NASCAR and the Pacers were not shown at all. What was shown? The same UFL game was on five TVs, women's softball, happy TV network, 60 minutes, and two TVs that scrolled advertisement for bar poker. I've nothing against UFL and women's softball. But this is Indianapolis and it's the day of the 500 in the Pacers! There were also several individuals in the restaurant with Kyle Larson shirts. I know they would've been interested in the NASCAR race since Kyle ran both the 500 and made it in time to Charlotte for nascar. Sadly, it appears management of Gatsby missed the mark tonight on a couple of items. First, they underestimated the crowd on a holiday weekend and misjudged the number of servers that they needed in the restaurant. There is a hotel right next-door to Gatsby's. We saw several groups of individuals entering the hotel, coming from the race. We also saw several groups walking from the hotel to Gatsby's for dinner. Management misunderstanding the impact of the race on their business is one thing. Another is the apparent lack of comprehension of a large group of out-of-town visitors at a hotel next-door. Second, management did not appear to be cognizant of the local sporting events and the concept of what patrons may want to watch on a sports filled weekend at a sports pub. As mentioned Gatsby's is our favorite place for pizza and fried mushrooms. We will definitely return for those items and give them another try. This visit just sadly disappointed with regards to the customer service and customer awareness aspect. And was not a good representation of what Indianapolis has to offer for out of town visitors.

Maybe you like me had forgotten about The Loft at Traders Point...or you just didn't know about!…read moreWell I'm here to tell you make the reservation and go! From the moment we checked in with the host stand we were impressed! We were quickly seated and greeted. Jonaz was our server and he was incredible- he made so many recommendations for us, pointed out what's popular, what he loves and explained more about the flavors working together on the menu than would meet the eye! We also got to see Pascal, one of the managers while we were there! If you frequented Patachou in Clay Terrace...you know Pascal! We enjoyed an incredible cheese board to start our meal! Fantastic drinks- as someone who is currently pregnant I LOVED that they had mocktails that were not super sweet, that seems to be tough for a lot of places to get on the menu! We also started with the Yeast Rolls which sound so simple but were incredible. Moving on we had the Harvest Salad- I had never had pickled rhubarb and it was such a great addition. The black tea vinaigrette was amazing, fresh and light- the team in the back of the house knows what they are doing and is putting the work in on creating a perfectly curated menu with flavors that WORK! For entrees I had the Foraged Mushroom Bucatini with salmon added and my husband had the New York Strip. It's been a minute since we've been somewhere that's served a perfectly cooked steak on the first shot and this was edge to edge perfectly medium rare for him. We shared a side of the Spring Green vegetables- I'll dream about them, they were amazing. Jonaz helped my husband pick out a glass of wine to compliment his entree and knocked it out of the park. Now I'm telling you- you're going to want to eat all your food but you have to save room for dessert! How can you come and not try any ice cream?! We had the strawberry ice cream to split and it was a great end to our meal. I will say as we were leaving we saw a server walk by with a Toffee Crumble Sundae (I think that's the name) and let's just say that next time...we'll be trying that! We will 100% be back! The store downstairs is adorable, and we want to try out their brunch!
