Tony and I opted for anything with mashed potatoes for lunch today and Bob Evans won! We both ordered the same Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli for our side. It was Very good!!! Gravy was to die for and broccoli so tender you could feed a baby! For only $7.99 plus drink and taxes. I had Coke and Tony a sweet tea Definitely would go again Nice staff, great service and Very clean in dining room and bathroom which is a big plus!!!!

Everything was good until we found a piece of glass in our "to go" peach tea. Be careful, folks.

Worst service ever. Substandard food. This is the second time this has happened in a month. I will never order from here again.

Possibly one of the dirtiest places I've been to outside of a large urban area. Like post apocalyptic filth. Food was passible, but I was worried it was eating dirt. Wait staff was friendly enough, but the cooks were not the cleanest looking bunch. One Prince Charming was taking his break on a front bench when we pulled up. He was smoking, talking on his phone like an OG, and hocking loogies like it was an Olympic sport. I'd highly recommend avoiding this place. I will be from now on.

Food that I wiped from my knife. I had not yet used it.

Just placed a go order and they were out of half the items for the special salads they serve. Out of most of their dressings. Terrible.

The salmon entree with broccoli is Keto friendly (of course you have to say no to the rolls!) Brooke was very helpful.

Want to go back to the 1950's?????…read more For decades, my wonderful wife and I have admired Tudor's Biscuits without an actual visit. Extremely friendly staff and clientele. This is a 2 min on/off from I77. Not for formal or upscale dining; Do wear plaid shirt, jeans, and ball cap. Very Neat Appalachian Experience. Great southern Biscuits - My wife would require 10 minutes to process on-wall menu, and menu is complicated by "sweet stuff." Biscuits may be "best in south," but Bob Evans sausage gravy wins. We recommend for adventure and good dining. Families welcome. Caveat: Not a Date Night with your Wife experience.

Dangerous, Disgusting, and Falling Apart - Avoid This Tudor's Biscuit World…read more I have never seen a restaurant in such terrible shape, both in cleanliness and safety. This location is a complete disaster: * Rats: Droppings were found behind the ovens and grill, making the kitchen unsafe for any food preparation. * Filthy grill & food contamination: Eggs have come out with gray residue because staff scrape the grill with metal tools they aren't supposed to use, damaging the surface and contaminating food. * Disgusting pot: A pot of filthy water sits under the steam well nearly every day, reeking and unsanitary. * Chemical misuse: Workers place sanitizer buckets in the same areas where food is set down -- an obvious health hazard. * Broken equipment: In less than a week, safety systems shut the place down, half the grill stopped working, copper wires in the oven burned and filled the kitchen with smoke, and multiple other pieces of equipment failed. It's my strong suspicion rats in the walls are contributing to the electrical problems. * Management: Instead of addressing problems, managers are rude, dismissive, and show zero professionalism. This place isn't just dirty -- it's dangerous. Between vermin, chemical exposure, contaminated food, and failing equipment, no customer should feel safe eating here. I would strongly recommend avoiding this Tudor's Biscuit World at all costs.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Charleston, WV during our roadtrip and looking for dinner…read moreduring the work week. I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
