Fantastic food and service! Always seated fast and the food comes out hot!!! If you're looking to get away from the touristy crowds this is the place to go!!

My husband, friend and I had a great brunch here last week. We were up late the night before so Bob Evans definitely did the trick the following day. I started with a cup of chicken noodle soup. I really enjoyed it and plan to order it again at the Bob Evans near me hoping they have the same style soup. My husband and I each had the whole hog breakfast which came with a couple eggs (you choose the style), a ton of breakfast meat, potatoes, a pancake and a slice of French toast. Everything on the plate was delicious. The price was relatively cheap considering all of the food you receive. I forgot her name but the lady who took care of us provided excellent service! She was very attentive as she kept our drinks filled and our order was accurate. She was patient as it took a few minutes for us all to decide what we wanted off the menu. When it was time to pay at the register it took over five minutes of waiting for someone to take our payment because they were supposedly completing another take out order. Although we were impatient at the time, I will not let that overshadow the great meal and service we had while dining in!

Ample parking, great service and COMFY foods You cannot go wrong with Bob Evans. I was a fan but of B.E grocery items and was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant.

Their colonial dressing is so gooood.

I was impressed by all the new changes the store has made and the quality of service I got while I was there.

    Little Piggy Pancakes

My daughter was highly disappointed when her piggy pancakes looked more like a donkey. Food was okay but these pancakes definitely had us laughing.

Grilled chicken breast with broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy. Delicious!!

This location has restored my faith in the Bob Evans chain. We visited this location while vacationing and we were impressed by our food and the friendliness of the waitstaff and workers. Our waiter, Henry, was incredibly attentive to our needs. He replenished our water glasses and made sure we had whatever we needed and provided a pleasant experience. And then there's the food. It came out hot, and it tasted fresh and delicious. My mashed potatoes and gravy were so hot, and I truly appreciated that because I hate when I receive my food and it's just warm. My chicken was hot too. I highly recommend this Bob Evans restaurant. We were highly satisfied.

Truth be told there is no shortage of places to dine in Myrtle Beach and for me, I always like to try a new place since it gives me food photos, a new experience and of course the chance to offer up a Yelp narrative and hopefully inspire the masses or heaven forbid, steer people away from the terrible. Pop and I were sat quickly and handed the menu in case we wanted from there over the buffet options but that was what we were here for. We were mostly there based on meatloaf being one of the options that particular night and I was looking forward to something hearty this evening. I made two trips to the buffet line and can say that Magnolia's does this a little differently. The customer doesn't serve themselves but the staff works the line and passes your plate down where each staffer will load up what you ask for. I imagine that this keeps the trays of food neater and not looking like a disaster. Among the choices I made were the mashed potatoes, some mac n cheese, green beans, the meatloaf, a piece of fish and some battered shrimp. All of it was very tasty and I didn't need to go back for a third visit of that stuff but did for the dessert which was banana pudding. I couldn't recall ever having that but I am sure that I did at some point in life. The place wasn't crowded at the time we went and our timing was to hopefully beat the incoming rain which we did not. Once we got outside it had started and by the time we were halfway back it was horrible. That's South Carolina for you though. It will be nice and then rain like nothing you've seen before only to clear up like it never happened. Overall a nice time at Magnolia's and I'd visit again when there is the chance to do so.

Lindsey and Nickels were a great team behind the bar, providing excellent service! I had a Bloody Mary and when I said I wish it was a little spicy, Nickels quickly produced a jalepeno. Our must-order starters are the fried Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese and chip dip. Wish there was more consistency in the tortilla chips as the restaurant made ones with honey dusting are superior to their store bought version. For mains, the smothered chicken is the standout. We much prefer it over the bone-in fried chicken--the pieces are juicier and more flavorful compared to the fried large bone-in chicken breast, which can be a bit less exciting. Go for the hot honey bird if you want a kick. The biscuits are a bit dry and A-OK - the butter and jam makes it taste better. If you're in the mood for something sweet with cinnamon and fall/winter spices, then sweet potato pancakes is a good option. The best value is coming during happy hour, though the offerings change periodically, so it's worth checking what's available. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Market Common, with free street parking and nearby lots, making it an easy and enjoyable stop overall.

I went here during off season so I can't attest to how it is when all the visitors arrive. Our wait was just a few minutes. They sat us in a beautiful enclosed porch area. It was a beautiful ocean view! I got the breakfast buffet. It wasn't a huge one but it came with eggs your way. I got the omelet made to order, it was delicious! The fruit and other items were fancy and fresh. The price was right, under $20 visited December/2025

Really disappointing dining experience from start to finish…read more The hostess appeared visibly stressed while training a new employee (who, to her credit, was polite). Despite having a reservation, we were abruptly told to wait in line. The hostess then made an unnecessary, snarky comment to the trainee about our party, which felt unprofessional. Service did not improve once seated. Our waitress, Mae, forgot the glass of wine I ordered. When I followed up about 15 minutes later while placing our food order, she responded curtly that she had already heard me. Food service was equally frustrating. A runner delivered my meal along with the wrong dish for my 10-year-old daughter. I clarified the mistake, and both plates were taken back. About 10 minutes later, the same incorrect meals were returned. At that point, my entrée--a $38 Chilean sea bass portion that was already quite small--was likely cold, and I wasn't comfortable eating while my child still didn't have her correct meal. For a restaurant operating in March, well before peak tourist season, this level of disorganization and lack of service is concerning. Overall, not a good experience. I won't be returning or recommending.
