A cute place we popped into for some breakfast while vacationing in Surfside. I was so hungry I started to eat before I snapped a picture - hence why there is only a photo of half an omelet. Which was good - nothing spectacular but the veggies were fresh, and the eggs light and fluffy. My husband had a bowl - which he states was very good - he got the sausage gravy on the side and was glad he did because he thought it might have been too much with it - maybe if you were a hearty eater, you would enjoy it all together. I was hoping the coffee would be better- I always have an issue with breakfast restaurants with crappy or so-so coffee. This is our go to place for breakfast and sometimes will get a lunch to go while we are there. We didn't visit last year because of our trip to Italy and when we got there our first impressions were oh no, they've changed the decor which usually means a change in ownership. Yes, the ownership did change but both the food and service remained unchanged. Both were excellent. Our servers so far this week were Kathy and Cierra. These two young ladies couldn't be nice. Kathy remembered us from 2 years ago. She knew we were from "up north" and guessed Maryland instead of Pennsylvania. Not bad for only waiting on us a few times two years ago.
