For dinner, I ordered the Friday night Prime Rib special with a Baked Potato and Broccoli, I changed my sides to Whipped Yukon Potatoes and a Salad for a two-dollar upcharge. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon with Whipped Yukon Potatoes, Asparagus, and Salad. The Salads looked fresh, and both Steaks looked amazing when they arrived. My Prime Rib was huge, and the wife's Filet had a beautiful sear. Both steaks were cooked to a perfect medium and tasted very good, though my Prime Rib could have been a little hotter. The Whipped Yukon Potatoes were hot and very good, and the Asparagus was just as enjoyable. Service and Suggestions: I believe this place could easily be a five-star restaurant with a few tweaks: 1. Make sure food is hot before serving or get it to the table a little quicker. 2. Provide more training for newer staff. Our server did not know the difference between the eight-dollar and ten-dollar soups, had trouble getting a Kahlua and Cream drink order right, and forgot the second drink order. We are the Wednesday's lunch group who frequent restaurants through Charlotte County to explorer new cuisines. This week, we a group of 50 who had reservations, we had a wonderful day menu of appetizers, entrees & deserts! Refreshments of Adult Beverages of various wines red, white or cocktail of choice or soft drinks. The real crowd pleasure became their delicious cook to perfection Grouper Sandwich! Others had Burgers, or different prepared salads. Our servers were Tara & Bethany, with manager Hector assisting service. They were quick to get our refreshment orders, and we were able to start the multiple conversation right away. As you glanced around the patio, there were many smiles, chuckles and laughter. Every girl embraced meeting and making new friends, or engage with friends they met previously. The atmosphere was warm welcoming , with a beautiful spring breeze.
