This is always been a pretty cool place lots of parking out front they have a small little store section. You could buy some bakery goods and coffee. Food has always been good. Never had to wait to be seated. Staff is always friendly. read more

I've never been to Bob Evans before...I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasently surprised. Food was good and fresh, I know this because my wife can't eat eggs unless they are farm fresh and she ate hers up with out any pains. What I enjoyed alot was the fact they had flavored creamers including a pumpkin spice. I will most definitely come back here if/when I cross the border again. read more

So when I ordered chicken dinner, it came up within 5 minutes. Ok , so I know, I cant cook chicken that fast. It was fried earlier, and fried again. Yuck!!! It was dry and outside, I couldn't even chew. Potatoes, fried twice too. The boss, brought me soup, which is good. And took my dinner off the bill. Thank goodness. I wasn't going to pay for that. Chain restaurants are usually verboten in our family. But few problems to be found here! Lots of space and good family atmosphere. And I had forgotten how good the food is here! We went here because they did a fundraiser for our chuch. So great community involvement as well! Not often a chain is worth four stars....but this is the best of the bunch. read more

Usually bob evans is great, good service and no issues with wait staff. However at this location the general supervisor was a true disappointment, he was short, condescending and rude. We came in with a group of 6, no wait time was given to us. We just "had to wait and see." We offered to split up and take smaller tables, we were ignored. Food is not as good as it use to be. Service was good but the kitchen was horrible, they messed up at least three different orders while we were waiting for our food. The waitress was kind enough to take my meal off the bill, i didn't ask for it she just did it. Our food came out cold because they had to redo my sons meal so the rest of our food sat under the lights. Should have went to Cracker Barrel across the street, that location is always spot on. This was a first for me. The staff was friendly but the food quality was well below average. My bacon was burned, badly. No seasoning on the home fries. The biscuits were stale. Someone recently asked me why I post so many negative reviews? My reply, "They are warranted!!!" The quality of service in restaurants now days across the board is deplorable every one of the short order cooks who fashion themselves as the next great Chef... Why because they watched the movie 32 times, or they never miss an episode of Beat Bobby Flay. The definition of Chefis consistancy and above all pride for what you do and what comes out of your kitchen. I have more respect for the fry cook at McDonald's but puts out the best that the product can be... Verses you in our Chef coat consistently under performing! When you send out at Bob Evans known for breakfast's an order of biquits and gravy which is cold, hashbrowns not cooked all the way through and over cooked sausage patties...And I was the only customer in the place (should of been my first clue). Well then take off your dirty Chef coat which hasn't been washed since Trump took office and go get yourself a job as a garbage collector... it seems that is the product you are use to handling anyway. read more

Very nice place to eat. Had the Onion Petals as an appetizer and the Wildfire Ranch sauce was very good. I had the Grilled Chicken with Wildfire Sauce on it with Broccoli and Carrots. The Wildfire Sauce has a BBQ kick to it with a lot of spice. Had the Lemonade Bread tonight and it was delicious. It's a type of bread that I would recommend getting. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone in Port Huron area that is a resident or visitor. read more

This place is going downhill, and all too quickly. It used to be our go-to place for brunch, but recently the food quality has gotten BAD. On our most recent visit, our waitress made a small mistake, which she rectified immediately, and was by no means a problem for us. Some how the manager got wind of it, and actually screamed at her!! In front of the entire restaurant, none the less!! After one bad experience after the next, we kept returning on occasion, in hopes that it would return to it's good ole self, but after having witnessed that atrocious spectacle, we WILL NOT be returning. There is absolutely no reason to treat your employees in such a manner, especially for something so insignificant, that the guest was not in the least bit upset about. read more

This was absolutely horrible. The service was awful, the food was so substandard it was nearly inedible. After waiting almost an hour to get our order, the chicken was undercooked and bloody, turkey sandwich was dry and seemed old, coleslaw watery, and chicken patty oddly rubbery and tough. I will never eat at another Bob Evans, that's for sure! Waste of time and money, and we left hoping we would not end up with food poisoning! I buy my Mom & Sister a Bob Evans gift card every year for birthdays and Mother's Day. This year also for Christmas. I just received an email from them telling me not to get them one anymore because the last few times the food wasn't very good. They go to the one in Port Huron, Michigan. Love Bob Evans...the food is so good..love the wild berry lemonade...western omelet and hash browns...the atmosphere is wonderful and especially love my favorite waitress there named Donna L. who has the most wonderful smile and happy countenance I have ever seen.
