We just left his office and we are very amazed with the experience. He was really knowledgeable and prepped with a warm massage bed. It was worth every single cent!!! My back pain was centered on the left side, have no idea how I got it, and he took care of the problem. He made recommendations and doesn't pressure you to return or take your money like other chiropractors. Will definitely return and recommend to my friends and family! Firstly this is the friendliest office anywhere and they provide amazing care services, besides the Chiropractic they offer massages next door. I have had several over the years and yesterday I had one with Rebecca and oh boy the best massage I've ever had! Her technique is quite unique, she presses gently on the nerves and tendons instead of rolling over like 95% of therapists do, I could feel my knots everywhere she was pushing and great relief, once I got home I slept for two hours in the middle of the day! Since my office is nearby, I decided to make an appt with Dr. Bob. My co-worker recommended him as well. The office is nice, spacious, and parking was easy to find. The young lady at the front desk will even add coins to your parking meter, if time runs low. There is a Centipede arcade game in the lobby, which is beyond awesome! I've always been hesitant about visiting a chiropractor, but after some recent muscle issues in my back I decided to pull the trigger and go see someone just in case they might be able to help. After searching through yelp for a Long Beach chiropractor I came across the extremely positive reviews for Bob. I called, the receptionist is friendly and cool and made an appointment for later that afternoon. Long story short, I went in Bob took a look at my back, ask me a lot of questions, and was genuinely interested and not just my back, but all the different areas of my life that might be affecting it, or playing into my specific issue. After about 15 minutes he told me that a chiropractic adjustment would not be the solution I'm looking for. Rather I need to focus on shoulder stabilization and reinforcing the surrounding muscles. And I was it! He charge me $15, didn't try and upsell me on any additional services or products, and genuinely offered me some advice and even printed out a short workout packet to help me get started. This guy is just as great as every review says. Super nice, super present, smart, and professional. If you haven't been to a chiropractor before, or if you're not sure that you need one, you can't go wrong with Bob. I'll give you an honest answer and point you in the right direction. One of my friends actually told me about Bob. I have been dealing with Anxiety after having my baby, that has brought on so much back and muscle pain. I was actually a couple minutes late they were super understanding. Let's me just say his staff is so welcoming and polite. I met Bob , such an amazing human being. I began to tell him my symptoms and were I been experiencing pain. He began to give me some great advice, to help my body relieve some of the pain. No need for any adjustments, he is a man of good sense of humor that uplifts others, helped so much because I was a little nervous. Very much appreciate his honesty. You get what you pay for. Check out the lower star reviews before they get scrubbed. Bob is unprofessional and dismissive. His place of business isn't organized or particularly clean. He's quick to dismiss your concerns and also makes broad assumptions that his patients have no back issues without even a proper medical examination. During my appointment he was also starting and ending appts with two other customers, I heard their entire medical history from where he had me wait. Very unprofessional. Felt like the massage bed he put me on did most of the work which took up the majority of the appointment time. I was close to getting up and leaving at this point because I could get similar results from the fucking massage chair at the mall! When making small talk about my career, Bob proceeded to act like he knew more about it then I do? He's pompous and inconsiderate. No filter. I won't be back. I'm 31 and way too old for this crap but here I am... 1st of all Rebecca and her 1 hour of heaven truly helped me rub out the pains I was experiencing. 10/10 for the massage session that I almost fell asleep in. Honestly the best chiropractor I have gone too. I heard of Bob from a coworker in 2019 and I scheduled my first adjustment it was AMAZING but due to the pandemic and being in quarantine I was feeling a lot of chronic pain. I finally scheduled an appointment on April and I have been going since. I try to go once every 1 1/2 - 2 months because it feels really good and I put my body through. They offer excellent service, friendly, it's affordable, I sleep better at night, I do not feel any chronic pain on my body, and every time I get an adjustment I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off me. I recommend this place to my friends and family. Massage ‍ 10/10 would recommend. It feels so good! Lupe is amazing I feel like the pandemic hit me so hard, it felt so good to be loosen up and perform my best afterwards. I'm updating my review because I've finally gotten 2 massages from here and I'm happy to say the 5 star review still stands! I've gotten two massages here so far with Lupe, and she's been great! I mean the massages hurt, but in a good way, I feel like my muscles have been loosening up and have been responding well. Lupe is very nice and knows how to balance talking to me and also letting me relax as well. The massage room has a quiet, warm and relaxing vibe. Just had my first appointment with Dr. Bob and let me say, he was worth the wait! His appointments book up very fast, so get yourself on the calendar as quickly as possible. He was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I loved all of his treatments used as well as my adjustment. Have a little patience, since he cleans everything so thoroughly between patients, there may a bit of a delay while waiting for your appointment. He takes his time getting to know you, so to me, it's a win all around. I'll definitely be back to see him as well as try a massage or two! I told friends I went to the chiropractor and they'd ask "Oh yeah, who?" . "Bob the chiropractor". Hahaha "Is that the name?" "Yes, it really is!" I haven't been to a chiropractor for a few years, because I haven't had any reason to go. But I had a tight muscle below my shoulder and I figured it was related to my back. I found Bob here on Yelp and thought I've give him a shot. His prices are very reasonable at $45 for the initial visit and $25 each visit after. He does NOT take insurance and this is one of the reasons his prices are low. Bob is good guy who knows his stuff. He also likes to throw little jokes or humorous quips into conversation to lighten the mood. It works for me! He checked me out, but didn't find any real back related issue. He then folded me like a pretzel anyway, then put me on the back roller / stretcher machine for a while. After about 40 minutes total I was good to go and on my way home. When I need a chiropractor again, I will go back to Bob... the chiropractor! read more

I've been waking up with headaches and nausea for the last several mornings, and instead of panicking and thinking it was a brain tumor, I assumed it may have been due to stress. That or tight muscles from a brief workout I did (future project...I haven't worked out in forever!). Anyway, Antoinette's the bomb. She's super sweet and great at what she does. I thought about asking for pressure at different times during the massage, but thankfully I didn't because she got some deep tissue work in where I clearly needed it! Good thing no one could see my face...I went through typical ecstasy-drowsy face to the oh-f*** that almost hurts grimace lol. Totally worth it, and a great deal too! $45/hr, and don't forget to tip! Bring cash for a tip; the lady at the desk said if it's on a card they have to wait til the end of the week, and that sucks! I haven't gotten any chiropractic services because I'm terrified, however my fiancé got a consult and I like the guy. Very funny and charming. read more

This is purely for the chiropractic experience. 2 stars for honesty and affordable price. Short version: I do recommend that you give him a try. Pros: He's honest and doesn't try to rip you off by making you come back when unnecessary. His fees are very reasonable. I think some people might find him friendly, sociable, and funny. Cons: He can be a little judgmental and insensitive in some situations. You might want to be careful about what you want to share about yourself. I really appreciated his (helpful) advices and thoughts on some issues but I believe they could've been worded differently. I felt that he was not very empathetic probably because he lacks certain knowledge and experience (unrelated to chiropractics). Regardless, why make assumptions and pass on judgements when you don't know better? Additionally, I don't like it when people repeat themselves over and over. The whole thing could've been done in less than 5 minutes but it was dragged out for no reason. I was unhappy about the extra 20 minutes I spent there just for the sake of repeating. On top of that, I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, so this was an issue for me as well. Overall, I can see why some people love him. I'd say give him a try and see if you are one of those people. Personally, I'm not coming back. But at the very least, he's helpful and honest. Bob has been my chiropractor for five years now. Not only is he a genuinely nice guy, but he is highly competent and honest. Some chiropractors promise that they can cure all manner of illness just by adjusting your back. Others try to keep you coming back over and over for constant adjustments. And others seem invested in mysticism, magic crystals, homeopathy, and other such idiocy. Bob has always been honest about the limits of chiropractic, and he talks with me about the different changes I need to make to my exercise regime if I want to remain pain-free. Thanks to his help, my back is in better shape than ever. Nowadays, I need to go in to have him help me with back pain only about once a year. But on those rare occasions when I twist or lift wrong and throw my back out, he's so helpful in getting me moving again. read more

I wear my mask during my massage with Jeremy who is my regular masseuse I feel he does a great job finding the spots that need working on and he can put the right amount of pressure that is needed for the job. My boyfriend likes Yesenia because she does deep tissue massage. Bob is a good talker. He has good conversation skills. I'm always shocked that he cracks my back given that I'm bigger than him. I tell him he should advertise as a sobador like in Mexican culture cause he offers almost all the same services. I love that I can book online and they confirm by text. It's very easy. I just got off the phone with Gina and booked an appt. for today. She was lovely, helpful, and not rushy at all. Backstory (if you care): I sprained my ankle pretty badly while sitting in the back seat on a 5 hour drive to Vegas (lol, I know). By the time I got to Vegas it felt tender, but I walked through the pain (slight pain at the time) to go have dinner with family. I should've just stayed in bed. I made it worse, obviously. Fast forward to my mom driving me to the emergency, getting a walking boot, then a cast for 3 wks., being put back in a walking boot, and now I'm here. My ankle is still a bit swollen, so that's what the current (poorly taken) photos show and hopefully, if all goes well, you'll be able to draw comparisons and see if/where the adjustments helped. read more

I've been dealing with lower back pain for months. I was told Bob the chiropractor was very good. I set up an appointment last Friday morning. When I arrived he asked how I was doing? I told him I had a fall three days earlier. He said I needed to get an x-ray of my back and ribs to make sure there weren't any broken bones; before he could adjust my back. So I went to an urgent care office and had x-rays to see if there was a problem. I sent a text before noon to Bob that the x-rays had been taken. He returned my text and asked if I would come back to his office at 4 that afternoon. I walked to his office and Bob wasn't there. I told the staff that Bob asked me to get adjusted. They said he left no notes; thus I wasted my time going to his office. I reschedule an appoint for Monday morning. When I saw him I informed him that the x-rays confirmed that there were no breaks. He said he needed to see the x-rays. I explained that I left my iPhone at home so he refused to take my word about the x-rays. I've never dealt with any medical professional who was less professional than Bob. I will never go back to his office. They think nothing of wasting a patient's time. I would not recommend him or his office at all. They have no respect for a patient's time. read more

I saw Dr. Bob 5 years ago just for a consultation and I remember his humor and how honest he was. He didn't try to sell me on receiving chiropractic services because he said I didn't need it and was just overtraining and needed rest.
