I had a water heater coupler go out some time ago, and I called these guys a hand full of times for advice because I didn't quite have the money to pay the piper lol. They gave me a few tips on how to keep the thing ripping for quite some time. When I finally had the money, they came out I was greeted by a very polite couple, who changed out my water heater in about two hours. They cleaned up their mess (and my mess) better than when they came to my home home, hauled off the heater for me because I didn't have a truck. I don't think that normally comes with the service so I definitely appreciate them going above and beyond, especially for the price and time they completed the project. My water heater is ripping and roaring! Oh, I forgot to mention, they don't BS you on what you should get, this water heater is bad A**. Its never cold and I actually had to turn the thing down. Gave the office a call on a Sunday, and they answered and walked me through all the steps to make an appointment and get a technician out as soon as possible. Their system is modern and has a built-in CRM that text me that they received my appointment as well as sent me a text when the technician was coming with his name and a photo. Just a story to demonstrate why my first call is always to Bob The Plummer for any of my plumbing needs. I had what I thought was a severe leak in my backyard. My water bill had doubled from the previous month without any real explanation, except for an area of my yard near a large tree that had become saturated with water. I thought that a root possibly had gotten into an irrigation pipe, causing it to leak. Well, Bob sent out Mr. Brian Delonde to take a look at it. Once arriving, Brian was most professional and pleasant to deal with. He first inspected the area and then verified that the leak wasn't occurring within the house. Because of the work that may be involved, he scheduled a return time for the first thing the following day. At 8:00 am the next day, he arrived and went right to work, and for the next 4 hours, he dug up an irrigation line, cut tree roots, and ran a system test to determine the leak's location. Only after that exhausting effort did he determine that there wasn't a leak. He then spent additional time consulting with his co-workers to gather their thoughts on any other possibilities, and after exploring those and finding nothing, he carefully returned all the dirt back into the trench that he had previously dug and re-installed the grass that he had removed. It came out outstanding, considering. As to my water bill being exceptionally high, we still don't have an answer, yet, and I will be calling the water department to discuss; but at least I know for now that it wasn't anything on my end. Now, for the unbelievable part. Brian told me there would be no charge for the day. I then just about fell over. When I asked why, he told me that the initial quote was for repairs, and he didn't repair anything. When I inquired about the labor, he again said, no charge. He said that that was the way Bob rolls. That Bob The Plumber feels strongly about being fair and honest to their customers and that he, Brian, just felt blessed to have the work. Simply incredible!!!! Now, this is the third time that I've had Bob The Plumber to my house for repairs over the years, and each person who came out was just as pleasant and professional as Brian was today. Jason and Danny were great. The company was very responsive and was able to come the same day and provide the service. I usually do my due diligence of research and multiple quotes but my washer valves were both leaking and it was a bit of need to fix it now kinda situation. I don't know if the price was the best but they were able to do it the same day. We had leaks from the fixtures in our Master Bathroom tub. Of course the most expensive repair had to be done. I decided to go ahead and get all new fixtures since they were needing to be replaced anyway. I know that if you are using licensed, professional companies, you will have to pay the prevailing prices. I called Bob for a possible slab leak. He returned my call promptly. An hour later, he sent Gilbert over. Gilbert was extremely professional. He cared for my elderly parents and was worried about the tile floor being damage. Gilbert gave us two options, one to preserve our floor and bypass the leak. So we took option one to cap off the hot water line that leads to the kitchen island sink. He saves us money and time. Before he left to get the parts needed for the repair, he made sure my elderly parents would have access to the restrooms. He only shut the water partially to the kitchen area. He was very caring.
