We stopped at this little food court area as we were walking Let's Glow to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. This location calls itself Boba and Brew but they have very few options for tea. I ordered a "classic milk tea" with light ice and it was about $6. There was only one other customer and it took longer to get the tea than it did to get my food from another truck in the area. This was hands down one of the worst milk teas I've ever had. It tasted like someone had brewed a weak cup of tea and left it out until it was room temperature and then added some powdered creamer to it. I'm not sure how new this business is but they need to work on their customer service and quality of product.

Currently, all buses moved to the Salesforce park, so just the same I haven't gone here since its move. How I discovered this place was this app. My colleagues and I wanted boba but wanted to try something new than the ones near our office. We took a long and fun walk along the walk -- longer than our usual places -- and into this space. It still kept the physical remnants of the bus terminal, such as the cross walk and the crossing button that has no use anymore. It reminds me of Spark SF because the space was replaced as a sport activity like venue with some food trucks parked on another corner of space. Our destination today was to the boba place, so we walked past the miniature soccer fields and tennis or pickleball courts. We arrived here past 3pm, so it felt like the busy boba hours have passed. The staff there also assumed the same; there was only one person handling the order and making the drinks. The speed would be average, but unfortunately, my colleague team was large, so the orders took some time to complete. (I was relieved that there were no one after us, as expected, we did come at a slow boba hour) I ordered a Thai tea because that day. It was a refreshing drink with a creaminess of milk. Generally, I like how this space was repurposed, so I would need to visit here again.

The fruit teas were actually very refreshing, particularly the Lychee fruit tea and the seasonal Red Guava fruit tea. They're all artificially flavored with syrups fyi. And their Classic Milk Tea is real but it's pretty bland and tastes more like milk then a milk tea.

Location was super easy to access, we were walking and came across it. Menu is limited, but the item we did order was amazing. They ran out of boba and were in the process of making more, so we settled for coconut jelly with our Thai iced tea and it happened to be an awesome accidental combination. Prices were a little steep for the only small-ish size they offer, but it's SF, so I guess that's to be expected. There are also plenty of lunch style benches for seating, and they were all clean. The service was fast and friendly, and the drink was probably some of the best Thai tea we've had in a long while, we will likely return.

Decent. Got the jasmine tea with boba and it was around $4.65 which was affordable. The outside area is a really cute hang out spot with a good dance area, lots of fun food trucks, pickle ball and soccer courts. Will be back again for sure. read more

Came here on a whim on a Saturday evening. There was no line. We ordered and sat at one of the outdoor picnic tables while we waited. We got the Ube Taro Latte and the Brown Sugar Milk tea. Both were delicious and fresh. Did not taste like artificial flavors. Good amount of boba (had enough to last me the whole drink) and the boba was warm and sweet. Definitely one of the better boba places I have had in the area. read more

The Boba was good, but service was really bad. The cashier was on the phone, she asked a guy from the other business to come to help, I ask for a crepe too but the guys who was helping her say he can't make it because the girl who work there she was busy with her phone call. I wait for a minute to try to order again and another girl show up. I ask her if I can order a crepe she say yes, but the the other to say no I was confused and the other was too. I would only grab boba here if I really have to! It was a small storefront located at The Crossing at East Cut. I got a regular milk tea without boba and it tasted milky and I could barely taste the tea. Maybe their other options are better but I would not return. read more

Honestly a very nice location in East Cut Crossing; there are nice tables with umbrellas next to the pickleball court as well as free wifi. I wanted to try their boba, and I ordered a mango/strawberry smoothie but the lady gave me a mango tea instead. It came out to $7.10 since the 75 cent tapioca price isn't included in the $5.50 tea, which is a bit outrageous! They don't have sugar and ice customizations levels, and the mango flavor was so grossly artificial. I ended up pouring out the tea later and adding my own to have with the boba. I haven't tried other flavors of boba or the coffee here. read more

Boba & Brew is a small boba and coffee outdoor bar/stand that is located at The Crossing at East Cut. There are some benches/tables right in front of the stand as well. Service is eh, I ended up receiving the wrong drink - I thought it tasted a bit strong for a green tea, then I realized I received a black milk tea instead of a green milk tea. After bringing it back, the employee said that I have to specify the tea base that I want, which I actually did to the cashier (a different employee), but I guess miscommunication between them? I tried the jasmine milk tea with boba and mango smoothie. The black milk tea I received first was definitely a bit too strong, while the green milk tea was more creamy, floral, and light, but it tasted a bit watered down. The boba was not the best either - a bit too chewy. The mango smoothie was not that great, as it tasted very artificial from the syrup. read more

I'm really confused by this place. They operate out of a shipping container yet think it's okay to charge $6.70 for a boba tea. They gave me so little boba I would of thought they were rationing. With the name "Boba & Brew" you would think they would at least hook it up with Boba. Instead I probably got 10. It's pretty wild the times we are in. Earlier this year I was in a mall in Thailand and got a boba tea that less than $1 usd and it blows this place away. read more

Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

They used a strawberry cream top instead of a puree, which I actually enjoyed. It added a nice creaminess to the drink, and the matcha was very smooth and strong. It worked well together. I also tried their double hojicha, and while I enjoyed how nutty and strong the hojicha was, I did find it a little bit grainy. I wish it was a little smoother like the matcha was. I usually don't drink/like coffee, but the guava cold brew sounded so interesting I couldn't resist. The fruity jasmine tea somehow paired so well with the coffee and made it a nice refreshing drink. I was also lucky enough to try the matcha crepe cake, which I believe they get from Lady M. It had really nice layers and was light, but unfortunately it was a little too sweet for me. Overall a very solid matcha/coffee option in SF. They have a beautiful interior too, perfect for catching up with friends. Servers were sweet as well!
