We came in after having a yummy lunch at tofu village and decided we wanted to try a smoothie. I saw the price on the wall and thought... well... a little pricey, but lets give it a try. It was a 50 cent difference between the reg. and large, but I opted for the reg. When the nice young lady rang me up... she rang me up at the large price. I said "your wall shows this price for regular" to which she answered "oh, thats wrong". Hmmm... alright... well then maybe you need to update it. A few seconds later she corrected the issue and said "Oops... yeah it should be whats on the wall". Fifty cents is not a big deal to me. What bothered me is that when I walked in... on the wall... they had a menu with pricing. I ordered according to the menu. If the pricing is not up to date, then let your customers know before they order. Better yet... correct the pricing =) The smoothie itself tasted pretty darn good though :) read more

I don't mind doing it but it's more of the meaning behind it all that pisses me off. One peach mango slush with boba took 10 minutes to make. C'mon now. 10 minutes per customer will drive your customers away. Efficiency is key. Know what your selling. They carry gavina coffee - a brand of coffee I really love that's sort of hard to find. There's a big poster of it below the register. How do you not know what I'm asking for when I say the words..."can I get a small gavina coffee?" . I come to this place often after we eat at Pho So 1 for the last 3 years. The service is great the the workers are very friendly. I usually order the Thai tea, Taro slush and lee chee (spelling?). The boba's are nice and soft and well mixed. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants fast service, friendly workers and most of all great tasting milk tea and slushies! Never again. Okay so I was with my bf at the Marukai Pacific, and when we come back to the car, there is a FLYER with nice pretty pictures of delicious looking bubble tea & whatnot. So a couple days go by, coming home from university and we decide to go check the place out We've been to the Tofu Village & the bakery before, but we've totally missed this place Anyways so I ordered black milk tea, and bf gets taro and some cheese & bacon taiyaki totaling at around 7-ish, the girl at the register was nice & polite So..... we get our food and that was a totally different story -the taiyaki tasted like they haven't clean the taiyaki-maker for a while and there wasn't any bacon! -Black milk tea wasn't mixed well, the top part was super bitter, bottom part was sweet. Tried to shake it, didn't help at all. -Taro had a good taste but it was way too sweet. After inspectioning all the writting on the walls it seems like this is a hangout for middle & high-school kids. Recommend the sesame dressing and the honey garlic soy sauce! I also had a taro smoothie with boba and a pistachio frappe with boba. I really like their coconut whiteout cake! Since I ate it the first time two month ago, I almost come here every Saturday to get it. It`s very creamy, but not that heavy like their other cakes. Most of the time it`s busy and you have to be very patient sometimes to get your items. The young girl that seem to work there every Saturday evening is very friendly. After eating at ALMOST nearby Yamadaya Ramen, we came here after reading Yelp reviews about it. It turns out it's located at a plaza where I love me some AYCE KBBQ (Hwang's Restaurant - http://www.yelp.com/biz/hwangs-restaurant-gardena). We walked in and started looking at their menus. I enjoyed their wall decorations--written words and phrases and whatnot by past customers. It seems like they've run out of blank spaces on the wall, so the owners have posted a note to not write on the walls anymore. Anyway, I enjoyed reading some of the written words. The cashier/boba maker didn't seem to happy to have us there, but regardless, she was polite. My husband ordered their taro smoothie, but they ran out of it, so he settled for something else. I ended up ordering their milk tea with boba. She made our drinks really quick, so it's safe to say that their drinks here are premade (definitely nothing to look down upon, in my opinion). I've been here numerous times only because it's so convenient but I will never be returning here. Not only is the owner always rude but if it's not the owner helping you then the workers have no idea what they're doing. I always seem to get stuck with the worker who doesn't know how to make the drink and always ends up asking me how it's normally made. Besides the customer service or lack of, I should say, they always charge you to use a card regardless if it's debit or credit $.75 and another $.50 for boba. That seems alright at the moment but then you look at the drink you got and realize that they barely gave you any boba and it's costing you a lot more to get a drink here than it would anywhere else. I got stuck with the owner today and I requested that she split my second drink into 2 cups because I had my two little ones with me and she said she would have to charge me another $.50. Seriously??!? It does not cost that much for those cups they use. Then I asked her to combine my two punch cards and she said it's their policy that they can't do that and that I should just come and use them both. Lastly, I realized that she didn't give me a stamp for one of my drinks and she said that you don't get a stamp for hot drinks. Umm.. What??!? How many friggin rules do you need to have to prevent people from getting a free drink?? Why do you have a punch card in the first place??!? The way this lady runs her business is unethical as she just does as she feels when she wants.
