The Boba here and the drinks here are super yummy The reason for the four star review is the WAIT TIME. Waiting 30 to 40 minutes for a drink for the family on a Sunday afternoon is a bit ridiculous. The location is convenient for us since we live down the street but if Boba break can't get it together and cut the wait time by at least half we will sadly, have to find another spot for our weekly treats. I was visiting today with my niece and nephew and they're young kids trying to figure out the menu, the girl at counter looked as if she was annoyed with how long they were taking. Then when we got our order it was wrong. We got 4 drinks and all four of us got super sick. On the spur of the moment stopped in for a Taro Milk Tea with honey boba. We have never tried this place before as we usually just go to the local Tastetea. We drink a lot of boba drinks and the boba here had the best texture of all the places we have tried. It was bouncy but not too firm and not to soft. Not sure how they got the texture so spot on as it seems pretty hard for other places to maintain this consistency. Ladies at the counter were cheerful, helpful and friendly. Honestly the worst boba drinks I've ever had. I've tried to give it a few tries thinking maybe I ordered a thing I didn't like but I've ordered several different things every visit and everyone in the family agreed all of them were awful. Boba Break Tea House is located inside of the Glendora Public Market, which has ample indoor seating and a free parking lot. I decided to stop by for a pick-me-up after work. I'm a little disappointed in their lack of milk alternatives here- for a place that offers a 'build-your-own' drink, you would think that they would be able to accommodate having milk options other than whole milk and almond milk. Unfortunately, if you're stuck with the lactose intolerance and nut allergy combo like me, you're SOL. I ended up going with one of their Specialteas, the Heartbreaker. For me, it tasted a little perfume-y at first, very fragrant and not very fruity, but after drinking it for a while I got used to the taste. I'm really more of a milk tea drinker, so I had to go back and try their Dirty Milk Tea with boba. I really enjoyed this drink! Usually, brown sugar drinks tend to be overly sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced. (PSA for lactose intolerant people- even if you take lactase pills, this milk will still mess you up.) The boba itself wasn't really remarkable, soft and chewy but didn't add any flavor of its own. In the future, I would love to see Boba Break incorporate soy or oat milk into its menu, but for now I'll be sticking to their non-dairy options! read more

This is my second time here. The 1st time I got a specialty tea. It was okay nothing extraordinary. I decided to try them again since I was in the food court but ordered a simple mango green tea 75% sweet. I took 1 sip and it was like 150% sweet. There was this medicine type of after taste I didn't care for as well. Not to mention the wait time was pretty long. The amount you get in a regular and large is worth the money but why would I want a large if it's not really yummy. I've had boba from everywhere and I'm really not that picky but I had to Yelp about this one. Don't get me wrong I'm still drinking it, just over A LOT of ice a little bit at a time. Boba Break is one of my favorite tea houses. Although customer service is good (sometimes at the Chino location, but always at the Glendora location), they're drinks are good in quality and have a nice, rich flavor. I personally love the flower bomb just because I'm a fan of rose flavored tea, but I've tried a lot of their other fruit and milk teas, which are all super good. Their suit and thai is one of the better milk teas! I love that they allow you to adjust sweetness, ice, and substitute toppings. The cup sizes are good for the price but I hate how it can't fit in my cup holder (haha)! If you don't have a sweet tooth, I'd recommend getting 50% sweet because getting 75% sweet is sometimes too sweet (maybe if they're busy and need to rush?). Anyways, you should definitely come check this place out when you get the chance! Parking isn't bad nowadays with COVID and masks are required, so health precautions are well taken care of! read more

My boyfriend and I were thirsty and we were in the area so we looked up nearby boba places and ended up here. We both ordered a large Suit and Thai, which is half milk tea and half Thai tea with some egg pudding in it. It was about $5 and change for one large which I think is reasonable prices since the cups are pretty fat and you get a decent amount of drink. The drink itself was very refreshing too, the milk tea and Thai tea kind of neutralize each other but it's not bad. Thai tea is usually very sweet or has a very strong flavor, the addition of the milk tea in the drink makes it much more mild and milky while still providing a little extra flavor rather than just tasting like plain milk tea by itself. The egg pudding in the drink was delicious and soft too, I absolutely love that stuff. The Suit and Thai was definitely perfect for such a hot day and I'd definitely stop by again in the future, though I'd likely buy something different since their other drinks sound good too. read more

Was skeptical to try this boba spot based on some of the reviews that said the boba itself wasn't good enough but I beg to differ! My friend wanted to go so we swung by (I was also concerned about parking there for a Saturday night especially with the back half closed off for seating outside due to covid, but parking was no issue!) The menu selection was nice and had a lot of yummy sounding drinks and a good toppings menu. I tried a classic sea salt green tea (salty bae) with boba and also got a berry matcha drink. The boba I thought was delicious! The texture was a little on the softer side but not too soft, could have been a tad firmer but we all have different ideas of what "perfect boba" is. The tea as well was nice and strong and a good amount of sweetener added. The sea salt topper was good too! I'll definitely be back for that drink and to try others. If I got the berry matcha again I would ask for added scoops of matcha because the drink was more sweet than anything but still good. My friend got a drink with the mango jellies in it and they were so cute cause they were little stars! Anyway, I'm already constantly planning my next trip there :P Definitely recommend! I love this place!!! Since they opened I have been coming regularly to get my boba fix. I haven't had a drink I didn't like. Their customer service is amazing and one reason I do come back. I do want to say I am disappointed in some customers I have witnessed giving these "young" workers a hard time over masks and other complaints that have nothing to do with service or the actual boba. I ordered the Seaside with boba at 50% sweet. Initially I thought it was a little too salty but a few more sips in and I absolutely loved it!
