Boba Break is my go-to boba in Covina/Glendora area. I love that they have unique drinks that rarely need customization. Today I got the Suit and Thai: half milk tea half Thai tea with pudding! It was spot on. We also ordered the Thug Passion, which was a blend of fruity flavors. Thug passion was a little on the sweeter side so next time I'd order at 75% sweet if they can adjust. I'm also a fan of these chubby cups, very similar to half & half. Regular size is $5 and large is $5.50. Not bad at all. read more

l wish that I just found out this place much earlier. This place has all kind of drinks that I love. They have Arnold Palmer, lemonade and all kind of tea/milk tea. I was having issue to pick just one drink. I got the Seaside from the signature menu, attracted by the color of blue in the drink. It was prefect! My husband got the 44, it was very fruity and refreshing! I will definitely come back to try al of the drink on the menu! read more

Went here and i love it! It's in a plaza in glendora. Drinks are great and customer service is super friendly. Their drinks are pretty big kinda makes me think of Half and Half size cups but it's okay! Because the drinks are good! Ive only tried 3-4 drinks from them but I would like to try more! I've only gone to this shop 2-3 times but definately would come back again. While you're waiting on your drink, you can grab food! It's an indoor food court. So while youre waiting on your drink you can go to the other food places/stands and order food! read more

By far, the worst online ordering experience for really bad boba and terrible baristas. Ordered a large dirty milk tea online before coming in then waited in line to ask for my order & was told ~15min wait for it. I asked again after ordering and getting food from a place nearby to get "your ticket didn't print." Took over 40 mins to get a drink. Maybe the hype for this place is justified with the drink quality? Nope. Basically a tasteless bitter tapioca with sugar + water. I trashed the Dirty milk tea after a few sips, that's how bad it was. Wasted $6 on junk. Hire more people, your baristas seem tired af lmao read more

Sometimes when I grab lunch I stop here for a drink. The line is always long, and the wait about 10 minutes. I usually get the Thai Tea which was large and $6.50. Half of it was ice. A good place for a quick fix if you're craving boba. read more

Never again. Probably an employee problem but after talking to the employee about a drink combination that we wanted to try, she told us it should "work." After we got the drink it tasted strange and we didn't like it. I told the employee and she asked if wanted to order something else. We said sure and the she goes on to charge us. Really? I should've asked to speak to a manager but was too shocked so decided to just take my nasty drink and blacklist this place. Much much better places with high quality tea and ingredients offer this minimum level of customer service. This place with its cheap quality tea, syrups, and instant powder couldn't even offer a remake of a drink? Lol **Blacklisted** read more

When I visited last Sunday 8/22 they did a free milk tea/ thai tea with 1 toppings if you checked in. I got the Thai Tea and boba and it was good. The right amount of tea to half and half ratio. Their boba states it's honey boba, but it lacks the honey taste on every bite. I would say it's more plain boba. The texture of the boba is slightly over cooked. For me, boba could have been slightly under cooked and have more of a honey flavor. Tea itself was fine. read more

Been back here at least twice a week. Utilizing the online ordering which makes pickup super easy. New fave are the milk icees. My go to is Caramel Milk Icee w honey boba and egg pudding. I normally get something like this at a different boba place in SGV. Now I don't have to drive 30 minutes for it. My goal is to try something new everytime I come here. Love this place. Boba drinks are OK. It hits the spot for the location (Glendora is lacking in boba shops), but the boba is a little subpar and the drinks a little watery. We didn't get any of the gimmicky ones, just the standards: almond milk tea, milk tea, taro milk tea. They were all OK but nothing to write home about! Went again today for some weekend boba, but was very frustrated/disappointed. Although I understand that weekends + soft openings are much busier, I've worked in this industry long enough to also say that the business was ill-prepared. The workers are definitely overworked, although having more on staff would not help with efficiency due to the stores small size. The placement of tools/items were improper, so you can see them all running back and forth and bumping into each other. They were so overwhelmed by the amount of orders that they were leaving teas running, spilling things on the table, amongst other things. Today, I decided to try their Cucumber and Lime Moteato. I've made and had this drink at Ten Ren's before and it's typically a very refreshing take on the Mojito, so I wanted to give it a try here. Sadly, my first sip left me with a scrunched face because it was just completely sour sparkling lime water. We went back to ask them about whether the drink should have had sugar (because there was none), and they agreed that yes, the drink should have had sugar but they were so busy they *forgot* to add it in. FYI for those who have not worked in this field before, sugar is pretty much a base ingredient in teas and boba drinks unless specifically told not to include sugar. Just saying. I understand it's COVID and it's tough for businesses - it's tough for me too and I own my own business. But honestly, the business owner or managers need to put more time into figuring out their business model and how to train their workers so that they can work efficiently and under pressure, or manage the rushes better. I've worked plenty of rushes at a very popular boba place that has been worse than this and it's not fun, but we also don't forget to add sugar. We also saw a lot of people go back today for refunds for their drinks. Read another review below mine from today where they had to go back for a refund as well. No boba place usually messes so bad that a refund is needed; usually an adjustment and one-time error fixes the issue. Hopefully that is the case for this place or it will not last in this area since Bungalow is also near by and has their drinks + business down, even during covid. Today is the 2nd saturday since they've opened and we waited over 30 minutes for 2 drinks - this is before we went back to remind them to add sugar to my Moteato. read more

This is one of my new favorite boba places near me! I love that it's located in a food hall so there are many options of food to choose from! My go-to order is the heartbreaker and I usually adjust the sweetness level to 50% (the fruity drinks tend to be on the sweeter side!). Yummy! Got the heartbreaker, pog, and the the black frank white. All of them were good. Sweet but good. I love the little bits inside. We added boba to the heartbreaker this time and it was prefect. We had the dirty milk tea too which is a brown sugar milk tea. The heartbreaker has lychee and strawberry bits. The pog had honey boba. Refreshing and worth the drive all the way out to Glendora just for boba. read more

The drinks selection is good, service is nice, but the soft opening line is ridiculously long. We waited over 20 min just to place an order. Then it took another 50 minutes for our order to be ready. Since their employees are still training, it took minimum 8 minutes between orders. The size is generous, and the moteado is a tad too sweet and not quite enough sparkling, but next time I would ask for less sweetness. read more

We got in yelp event so we planned a trip to a near by outlet to shop then swing by to get our drinks. We ordered Thug Passion with crystal boba and a Matcha Brown Sugar Milk Tea with crystal boba. The Tug Passion was really good and flavorful and the Matcha Brown sugar was good but a little too sweet for me. But if you like sweet then you probably will like it. I would definitely go back if I am in the area as this place has alot of choices. read more

got the chance to stop by the glendora public market for the first time today and I can definitely say it won't be my last visit. we got bagel sandwiches from cassidy's corner (bomb!) and then decided to see what the tea here was about, despite initially wanting to grab a coffee. I'm glad we chose tea today. walking up to boba break, it was kind of hard deciding what to get simply because everything on the menu sounded incredible. I settled for the seaside, because i wanted something with that gorgeous butterfly pea tea in it as i've been dying to try it, and i'm also a big fan of sea salt in my caffeinated drinks so it ticked all the boxes. sooo glad that this was my introduction to this place! One sip and i actually gasped. it's definitely a very sweet drink, but wow. the rich brown sugar milk mixed with the light aroma of the butterfly pea tea is exceptional, and that sea salt cream on top is the perfect accent. 10/10 would order it again. also, I love the shape of the cups here and there's something so satisfying about stabbing the straw through the plastic haha. I found the prices to be pretty fair. i'd say my only qualm is that my tea wasn't filled to the *brim* but i'll have to go here again to see if it's a repeat issue. not worth removing a star though. i got the regular size because sometimes boba places are a hit or miss for me and i didn't want to go overboard. Now i know it's safe to splurge on the bigger size next time because this tea is so good. will be back to try other menu items for sure! read more

They said the blue velvet was popular, and since I love matcha lattes, I decided to try it. Five minutes later and a beautifully layered subtly sweet drink was in my hand and I was comfortably seated in the corner on an upholstered low chair. A very hospitable, delicious experience! If I lived closer, I'd come here regularly for sure. Highly recommend!

I order the egg and cheese croissant. it was okay. I order a matcha with sugar free banana foam. it also tasted ok, EXTREMELY sweet and rocky/sugary??!! I also ordered a viet coffee it was light in color and tasted fake and watered down: not real viet coffee vibes. all 3 items were $17.90 which is a GREAT price. however I will not be coming back. I'll stick to more expensive places that let you order whatever you want during their POSTED OPENED HOURS. I should give 1 star tbh. PS I overheard women talking about "her appointment was 15 minutes ago" which explains her VERY RUSHED AND PUSHY demeanor. Very rude and uncalled for, customers come first. Not whatever you poorly planned on your scheduled work day.

There are lots of tables and chairs, even comfy ones by the front window. Parking on the street in front or in the lot behind the shop.

Buuuuttt that may be because I spoil myself with huge burritos I can't finish when I want to treat myself. It still tasted great, though! Their take on the BLT was their BLTA with bacon, tomato, greens, and avocado, which I thought my fiancé would like, but he is much more of a classics guy and said he wished they made the classic bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich he wanted with mayo. I'm done with this place the cashiers always ring up the wrong thing after we specifically tell them exactly what we want and it's not even a special order, it's a item on the menu that isn't modified in any way and then when it comes out wrong 90% of the time they continue to give you an attitude like it's your fault . We used to come here a lot but rarely come to this location because of the issues we run into . Just go over to downtown covina and get better service , better drinks, and better pricing. The covina miss tea a few minutes away is 100% worth the drive . If I could give this place negative stars I would . read more

I recently tried this boba spot and their milk tea is really good! However, we did have a mishap - a hair was found in my drink. Luckily, my wife caught it before I took a sip.
