Boba Cafe is such a cute little spot in AC for some yummy treats! My husband and I stopped for take out on our way into Ventnor for the weekend. We got the pork belly and panko chicken bao, honey garlic wings, and kimchi fries. It's a small space with room for some tables, but because of Covid19 they did not have any. The location was incredibly clean with precautions in place for transmission of the virus. I greatly appreciate businesses that are very serious about keeping themselves and their customers safe. Customer service was great! Very friendly and happy to provide info. We took a menu to leave at our house for future orders!

This place is amazing, Delicious and cheap! Whenever we are in A.C. we head over here for Bao and boba. They are fresh clean and delicious! Under $10 for a boba tea and bao !

Very good, no frills spot in Ventnor. We ordered delivery via Yelp - prices were reasonable and the food came fast. Try the bun sandwiches - so delicious! The spicy popcorn chicken was also good, not greasy at all. And great portions! We'll order again.

Boba Cafe might look like an ordinary cafe but it is packed with some of the best food I've had, and for the price it's at, I see myself going here everytime I visit Atlantic City. Although it's a "boba" cafe, I ordered the Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken and the Bulgogi Cheese fries, both of which were cheap, plentiful, and served quick. The staff was extremely nice and they seemed very grateful that I was a customer of theirs. Overall, this experience was a great experience for me and I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.

Love their smoothies! Customer service was great, I believe the lady that took our order was the owner, she was very sweet, friendly and polite. Definitely recommend!

You have to try their tuna crispy rice and shishito pepper appetizers! We get them every time and they are delicious! The wagyu tacos and lobster dumplings are delicious but not as filling. They run out of their uni often, so if they have any left for the night you definitely need to order some. They are pricy but are delivered fresh. They're always sweet and creamy every time. I love their toro hand roll and scallop hand roll. They have A5 Wagyu beef cooked at the table with a hot stone. It's priced per ounce and the cost can add up quickly, but it's a nice treat to try and share with others. The Chilean sea bass miso was rich and well seasoned. This is the best sushi place I've tried in AC so far!

Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.

Management was nice enough to identify what she could have on our recent visit. The manager also said that the low sodium soy sauce they use doesn't have cornstarch in it. However, my question is; why can't the Chef or one of the cooks make, for example, fried rice using the low sodium soy sauce? Are they that bad that they don't know how to modify a recipe? I've been to many places that modify their menu to accommodate an allergy. I got the firecracker shrimp with brown rice. The shrimp was tasty but not as hot as i'd like it and a little on the sweet side. My wife did get a nice salmon dish which was fine for her allergy and she did enjoy it. Unfortunately we just had salmon the night before so she was looking for a change. The place itself looks great and the service was good for our large table.

By the time we sat down, we were tired enough to believe in luxury again. All three of us ordered the $150 Omakase, because sometimes you need to let someone else make the decisions. We also each ordered a Lychee Elderflower Martini, and that drink was a revelation. Sweet but not syrupy, smooth as silk, and served with quiet confidence. It was, without question, the highlight of the night. That is not to say the food disappointed. The fish was fresh and handled with skill. Every plate was a small work of art. But I've eaten many Omakase meals before, and this one didn't quite live up to its reputation or its price. Each course was good, even very good, but never transcendent. It felt like a performance slightly off its rhythm. Service was attentive and professional, almost to a fault. Our server explained each dish in the kind of detail that makes you wish you'd taken notes, yet when we asked follow-up questions, the answers grew vague, like the end of a story that someone forgot to finish. The dining room itself was clean and modern, full of light and shadow, a careful blend of minimalism and excess. Still, it was oddly loud, even though the place was mostly empty. The windows looked out toward the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean, but the glass was streaked and dirty, muting the view into something almost symbolic. Beauty, slightly obscured. Here's the truth. In Atlantic City, this is probably as good as sushi gets. The meal was enjoyable, even memorable in moments. But there are sushi locations in the Tri-state area that perform the same act with greater precision and heart. If you are here already, go. You will eat well. But if you have the choice, there are better temples to fish elsewhere. I give it four stars out of respect, and maybe habit. Three and a half would be closer to the truth.
