Placed our order through DoorDash. Got the orange cream milk (75% sweet), strawberry shortcake milk (75% sweet), and brown sugar milk tea (50% sweet). Hubby really liked the orange cream milk and with milk tea or boba type drinks, he is super picky. So, I would say that's a good one to try if you're not into boba or drinks with toppings. My kiddo enjoyed the strawberry milk. Even promised to only drink half but couldn't help it! 10 minutes later I see an empty cup! I enjoyed my brown sugar milk tea that came with boba. I ordered it half sweet on purpose knowing that the sweetness from the boba would provide the perfect balance. Can always tell a good boba place when they can successfully pull that off. Overall, packaging was good. No tears in the lid nor cracks in the cups. They gave all the right straws (wider ones for the drinks with toppings), and it shows their attention to detail. read more

Other than that they are different and unique. I love it how they make the ingredient as fresh as possible. They do not use powder flavoring like other locations. They use real fruit and sugar. Coconut Butterfly Sweet Pea Tea ($6) : this drink does not taste anything like coconut. It taste like straight up sugar and water. Probably the sugar from the boba took over the drink. I couldn't taste anything unique about it. 1/5 Pumpkin Spice Oat Milk ($6) : this drink was also not my favorite. I drink the milk part of my drink and it taste like straight up pumpkin creamer. I drink the pumpking puree on my cup and it's just too strong puree. I mix my drink and stir it up. Now my drink taste like straight up pumpkin puree. I just thought that this drink is too simple and nasty in a way because it taste like store bought pumpkin pure. I was visiting Fresno and it is so great to see so many new businesses! Boba was very lacking about a decade ago, and now there are so many more options with pretty good reviews! I ended up here because we had picked up some food to try from a nearby restaurant. The staff was honest that they were running a little behind so kindly had a note that it would be opened at 12:30pm, which I appreciated. Upon entering, I appreciate the bright colors and warmth it welcomed its customers. It is easy to find parking. When you walk up, there's a self order kiosk (unless you want to use cash or redeem rewards. There was another customer who arrived first, but appeared to be placing a large order. So luckily, the boba-rista took me in the other line to help initiate my order. I ended up trying their seasonal watermelon mint green tea with light ice and half sweet. Overall, it was pretty good but I would like a stronger tea taste in the drink. I would consider coming back here another time to try their other signature drinks! read more

The dude and I came to Boba Fresh on 5/15/22 as we spotted this new boba place driving on Shaw in Clovis. Awesome to see more boba places coming to Clovis as a few years ago there was literally none in the area. Upon entering we were greeted by two staff members and when you walk in the menu is there. Eventually the employee guided us over to the cash register and offered us samples and it was the green tea watermelon sample which seriously tasted delicious. They have unique drink flavors and I didn't see any Matcha Rose flavors which in my opinion is a great pair. They did have other matcha infused flavors which I got the Matcha Watermelon which was 100% dairy free. The dude ended up getting the Thai Ice Tea which was good. They also have rolled ice cream as well. The Matcha Watermelon with boba was so fresh!!! It was not sweet but perfect for my princess pallet. I gave it 7/10. I would totally get it again. The Thai Tea was perfect no complaints at all. It was not sweet and very creamy. The boba was good too! The inside was beautiful, clean and organized and I love that they have a creative wall to put up art or cute notes. The staff was so warm and friendly and let us know to sigh up for their rewards program too! I will be returning. It was such a pleasant experience. read more

I love the idea of the Boba drinks and rolled ice cream together. They have a wall with post-its that customers can write down their favorite drink. They also have some games for those who want to hangout. Similar to other boba places they have milk teas, fruit teas, coffee, matcha drinks all one size for $6. Seasonal drinks are also available on their menu but they are currently not in season. Optional adjustable sweetness levels and add-on toppings are available. They have a variety of rolled up ice cream flavors all one size as well (comes with 5 rolled up ice cream, 2 pocky sticks and whipped cream. I wanted something refreshing the cucumber mint green tea was recommended by the nice lady at the register. I loved it! It was beautifully made loved the vibrant colors. The cucumber taste with a hint of mint was quite refreshing. I also ordered a cookies n' creme rolled up ice cream it was made perfect with optional sauce toppings. I really enjoyed both my drink and ice cream. The ingredients were fresh and the staff was nice. I will definitely return. Went on a weekday right when they opened. No wait. Staff was very friendly. Since it was hot outside I wanted something refreshing. I was recommended the Lemon Berry Black Tea with boba. It was sweet yet a little sour but refreshing. My son's favorite ice cream flavor is the birthday cake. He enjoyed them making it in front of us. And presentation was beautiful. Also, recommend the Cucumber Mint Tea and cookies and cream, my sister ordered. Both delicious as well. I like that they went eco-friendly on the straws but the downside was they easily break. The boba straw on the other hand did not. They also have a rewards program which was not mentioned but did see it on the table when we sat down. I come here often, but I never had time to sit down and write a proper review until now. Service - exceptional. They have a self ordering kiosk that only takes card which allows you to place your order with minimum contact with employees, however they are there if you have any questions. Additionally, they do take cash and can take your order at the register if needed. The self ordering kiosk is just easy for regulars who already know what they want. Staff are very quick to address concerns or issues that pop up. For example, back when they used to have bamboo straws, the cup broke while I tried to put the straw through. Staff took the broken cup and immediately made me a new drink. Soon after, the business began using different straws to help prevent the same issue. Have not had an issue with drinks since then. Drinks - Good! I have not tried everything in my menu quite yet, but the drinks I've tried so far taste good. This place uses real fruit, real tea, and real sugar with no artificial flavorings. For that reason, sometimes when you order a drink and request it to be less sweet, you lose a bit of the flavor. I noticed whenever I order something half sweet, they put less of the fruit purée in the drink and you do not get the same flavor as a result. The sweetness is reduced, but with the compromise of losing some flavor. Despite this compromise, I still enjoy purchasing my drinks here because I know they do not use any artificial flavoring. My opinion on some of the drinks: Strawberry lychee green tea - my favorite! It's a great blend of strawberry and lychee. However, you get less of the strawberry flavor if you reduce the sweetness because they add less strawberry puree to make the drink less sweet. Strawberry shortcake milk - this one is OK. When you first drink it, it tastes great, but if you do not mix it often then it starts tasting like milk due to the way the strawberry puree sinks to the bottom. Reducing the sweetness compromises the flavor a bit. Matcha oak milk - I enjoyed this one! It's like a matcha oat latte. When drinking it, it is thin - not thick. The ingredients stay mixed longer for the matcha oak milk vs the strawberry shortcake so I do not have to mix as often. Because matcha has a strong taste, you can reduce the sweetness without compromising the flavor. Boba - Very good! Their boba is cooked thoroughly with a great texture. I've also noticed that they usually cook their boba when they open up so sometimes their boba isn't ready until 20-30 minutes after their opening time. Misc - They hold special events every now and then! At their events, they sell specialty drinks, give away cute little freebies, and raffle off prizes. They announce their events on their Instagram. Overall/Summary: Boba Fresh is one of the few who utilizes real fruit juice and real fruit purée with no additives, preservatives, syrups, or powder. It is one of my favorite boba stores in Fresno for that reason. Their store is clean, the employees are friendly/helpful, and their drinks are tasty! I've watched them learn and grow as a business. They care about what they're serving and do their best to provide quality drinks. I highly recommend trying out this spot if you've never been here before. read more
