    Red Bean Taiyaki
    Eugene A.

Boba Sound has a unique style in their boba drinks and extensive menu of snacks. The place is very cozy, homey and welcoming. I ordered a customized Mango Smoothie with Coconut flavor, almond milk and boba. Just note that they charge extra for milk substitutes and additional flavors. In addition to my smoothie, I also ordered a Red Bean Taiyaki (2 for $6.50). Service feels very heartwarming and quick. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes. The boba is very warm and chewy, along with the freshly warm Red Bean Taiyaki. They are very generous with their boba portions and red bean filing on the taiyaki. The mango and coconut flavors complement each other, along with the creamy texture of the smoothie. Boba Sound is now one of my go-to boba shops in KTown!

Owners are so friendly and helpful!! They greeted us with smiles as soon as we stepped in! We took a while to order but they were patient with us, even offering recommendations. After we received our drinks, one of the owners checked on us and asked how we liked everything :) The drinks were flavorful and refreshing! My mom had the green apple slushie, she said it was refreshing! My brother had the peach black tea, it was perfectly sweet and the boba texture was good. I got the Thai tea, very strong and caffeinated, I can see why it's one of their bestsellers Service was excellent! Our drinks were ready within five minutes. We also ordered taiyaki, which they were so thoughtful to separate into pairs rather than all in one package

Stopped for a quick drink and snack on a roadtrip. The gentleman working was very sweet and kind! They had lots of options to choose from. We had an accident with a drink spill and they were so kind and remade it for us. The drinks were refreshing! The dessert was hot and delicious! The woman working in the back was also very helpful and sweet. If you're close or just driving through, definitely recommend to try it out.

The people were very friendly and welcoming. We have 5 drinks and they were all so delicious. My favorite was the cookies and cream shake. They have a nice little sitting area inside. I liked how they have a zodiac drink recommendation. If I had seen that before I would've ordered because my drink sounded like something I would order. Cool spot to pick up a drink on the go.

Cute. Comfy. Small. Fast service. Brown sugar milk tea with oat milk - delicious even with the oat milk, still insanely sweet (extra $0.95 for oat milk) Cute small local business. But this isn't something I can see myself getting again.

I've tried a lot of boba shops around town, but this one stands out. The sound special IS AMAZINGGGGG, not too sweet/perfectly balanced. The taiyaki has so many differently fillings - Ive tried nutella and red bean *chef kiss*. Quick service, clean shop, and great atmosphere. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Boba Sound on Western is the bomb.com! The housemate boba is super fresh, the milk tea is sweet & savory, the ambiance is clean, and the staff is very kind. Overall, my experience was 10/10. And, if you're into, astrology, they cater to your interest with specialized teas/smoothies associated with each astrological sign.

I stopped by right after I had Kbbq right next door, and the boba was a good finisher to my meal! The service was great! If you have any questions about substituting or adjusting your drink, they can ask and they will do their best to accommodate. They also bring your drink to you once they finish making it. The place is quite a small shop, there is some seating inside and out. There is quite a large menu, so you definitely can find something that you would like. I would say that for me it was a bit sweeter than I would like, but it was still very delicious.

Delicious boba drinks, you can get them in to a smoothie, teas, slushiest, and frappes or shakes. Definitely a must try. They also have these tasty and crunchy fishes and can get them with different fillings

Went to Boba sound yesterday night (Monday) and had an amazing experience. The place is really cute -and small inside so not suitable for large parties to sit down just an fyi. But I love how there are so many suggestion boards for different drink combinations that I never would have thought of and they all sounded delicious. I had to try the Thai + Coconut and it was so unique and so delicious! My friends also loved theirs too but I can't remember what they got lol. All the staff was lovely and nice and the girl working the register and making our drinks (i unfortunately didn't catch her name) was amazing and so funny and she had great suggestions! We all agreed we would definitely have to come back real soon!

We were somewhere nearby and the craving for boba hit. This was nearest. I looked up the menu and wanted the banana tea boba but it's not longer on the menu. D= It's ok because I ended up getting taro instead. It's was very good. The taro taste is really there. The owner was making fresh boba and tasting it when a customer came in so she said she had to eat it first before taking the order. Then followed up with It's very chewy so give me a moment. I have to agree it was chewy, soft and not too sweet. The drinks overall were not too sweet at all, which is great imo. I'd definitely come back. Also decided to get the cheese coin as a snack. I got pizza and it's definitely Asian pizza. It had corn and is on the sweeter side rather than being spicy or greasy. I still liked it. But just a heads up, it's hard to eat while driving because the cheese kept on going and going and going! Still fun tho.

Thai coconut with coconut milk and boba!!! Tastes like the real deal! Tastes like the islands! New favorite!

The teas have always been amazing and love how they use fresh fruit-you can REALLY taste the difference. My go-to order is the peach fruit tea, 30% sweetness with boba. The tea is perfectly sweetened and has the best natural fruit texture/flavor. I've never had an issue with my orders and the customer service is always consistently good. Luckily, Yi Fang is one of those spots where parking is rarely an issue. They have their own parking lot, plenty of nearby street parking, and even additional parking near a church close by, which makes visiting much more convenient compared to many other boba shops in LA. The store itself is on the smaller side, with only a few chairs and seating options available. They offer both a self-serve kiosk for quick ordering and a front register if you have questions or prefer ordering with staff assistance. Yi Fang is best known for their fruit teas, which are considered their specialty. Personally, I tend to prefer milk teas, and while the drinks are still good, I found the quality of the grass jelly and boba to feel somewhat inconsistent compared to other boba places I've visited.

I ordered the literal first thing I saw on the counter and that was the Sparkling Yuzu Lemonade. Now, I've had a whole lot of lemonade since moving to LA and this just might be some of the best I've had. The taste was fantastic, my thirst was quenched, and I left definitely knowing this is a place I'll be returning too in the future. I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. Even though I don't really know much about Invincible, I still had a lot of fun. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola. I would order that again. We also shared the Viltrumite Training Cookies ($9). They were basically buttery sugar cookies but came in a pack of 3. Parking was probably the only annoying part. The shopping center seemed to only have valet, so I ended up finding free street parking in the neighborhood and walking about 10 minutes. One thing I thought was really cool was that the employees told us they completely change the theme every few months. They have done collaborations with Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII, and Arcane. Overall, I had a really good time, even as someone who is not familiar with Invincible. If you are a fan of the show and like experiential dining experiences, I would say come check it out.
