JA Pho opened up a few months ago, and they had a limited selection but recently added more options to their menu. This time, when I went, I ordered the Com Thit Nuong (broken rice with grilled pork and a fried egg). The pork was bursting with flavor! If you've been to other Vietnamese restaurants in a bigger city/town, you'll notice that JA Pho has a smaller menu compared to them. I wish they had other broken rice dish options and bún bò huế as well. But nonetheless, their com thit nuong is amazing! Hubby and I tried this on Friday as a last minute decision while we were wrapping up errands and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered two Thai teas, two orders of phō, an order of Pad Thai, an order of shrimp spring rolls and an order of pork spring rolls. While the phō was absolutely phenomenal and the Thai teas hit the spot, the Pad Thai was a bit gummy but that could be because we saved it towards the end of the meal. My hubby enjoyed his shrimp rolls but they gave us two orders of shrimp instead of my pork-I was so disappointed!! We will definitely be back again, regardless! read more

Ordered some Pho for lunch. 2 Pho Soups and a Rice and Pork. The rice and pork didn't come with the special fish sauce it was suppose to, so it was just dry rice and pork. Without the fish sauce it's a bland boring dish. And both the Pho soups were way too salty. I was really hoping for a great Pho place in Saint Mary's as it's been a weekly staple since moving here from New England. Guess I've got to learn how to make my own Pho. read more

He arrived and the restaurant is closed even though we are within normal business hours, AND we still got charged! So shady to accept an order and payment when you are not even open! Highly recommend this little jewel in Kings Bay! This restaurant, tucked into a little strip, was warm, cozy, and clean! They have a wide variety of pho as well as some other noodle and rice dishes. I had the fresh spring rolls, without the pork, and the shrimp was so delicious and their peanut sauce was really good. I also had jasmine tea which was served in a tea pot with a sweet little cup and saucer making it all the more fun. For my main course I enjoyed the plain pho. I had been so excited for the opening of this restaurant. My friend and I have been waiting since the sign first went up. We are foodies and were looking forward to more diverse offerings in our area not requiring us to travel far. I was seated quickly and checked on frequently until my friend arrived. Shortly before her arrival I put in our app order. An order of dumplings and spring rolls. After her arrival the quality of surface went down fast. It took forever for someone to visit our table we had to waive them down. People that came after us were receiving apps and entrees when we hadn't received our app. From the time she arrived we waited 1 hour and received nothing. After noticing people who ordered after us receiving meals they told us the kitchen was behind abs that it would be 5 or 10 more minutes. I understand the struggles of running a new restaurant and limited staff, but not when people are standing around like they are looking for things to do and also aren't communicating. I frequent Saigon Pho ran by 1 man and I have never waited like I did here with no communication. I can't speak for the food because we decided to leave, but the service is not good and no shared equally.
