Excellent all the way! Great service, resonable wait for food after ordering, great variety, great quality.Food was equal to Indian restaurants I have eaten through the years. The restaurant was crowded and there was sufficient staff available. The ambiance was satisfactory for the size of the place. Chicken curry, coconut rice, Naan bread. Will definitely return!

Such a pleasant surprise to have a place like this in Amelia Island now. The restaurant had a big change from its previous owner (big Al's chicken). The restaurant itself is clean and a decent amount of seating. Menu is on an iPad and waiters are great at explaining their traditional items. The food is where they deliver something amazing... so much flavor. It is unlike any other place on the island. Highly recommend trying it out!

First time visiting this new restaurant in Fernandina Beach!! Had a lovely lunch featuring the garlic shrimp appetizer, Chicken Vindaloo, and an iced cold Taj Mahal beer to wash it all down. The food was packed with flavor and delicious spices. Give them a try if you're ever in the area...you won't be disappointed!! The staff was kind and courteous, which was a great addition to the relax ambiance of the establishment.

Everything we had here was so flavorful and delicious. We got the butter chicken, malai kofta and chicken tikka masala. We also got an order of garlic naan, garlic cheese naan, and samosa chaat. The curries were delicious but the spice level was a bit lower than we expected. The naan was cooked perfectly. I had a mango lassi as well which was better than most I've had previously. Great restaurant! We don't live in the area but we will be back when we visit.

New restaurant on Amelia island and the first Indian restaurant on the island!! Come early because it fills up quickly. Staff is friendly and attentive and the owner checks in frequently. Menu is extensive and presented on iPads. Very good range of curries and Tandoori. I got the Kerala fish curry which was tasty and filling. Guests got Tandoori lamb chops and chicken which were large portions and well done. Would definitely recommend the Tandoori here. The Naans are great here and there is an extensive list - the garlic and butter Naans are delicious. They have Indian beers and a small wine list. This is a shopping center restaurant, so typical ambiance for this type of restaurant. If you like Indian food, you should try this place out - the food is great!

    Mango Lassi

Food, service, and ambiance where great! I would recommend the Panner Kurchan and mango lassi. They do put ice in the mango lassi so I would ask for it without ice.

We love this restaurant. Indian was so needed on the island. And the people that run it are so nice. Last time there I had the tandoori chicken and my wife had the pompano fish. Both fantastic

It's supposed to be Korma with double chicken and veggies, but there were a total of 5 pieces of chicken. This was $22.

I've given them two chances, and I don't know if it's because I've done takeout vs eating in, but the portion sizes are extremely small. Definitly over priced for what you get and I don't plan on giving them another chance unless they can fix that.

Their food is always good and great staff. We've visited the Jacksonville sister restaurant so we were super excited to see they opened another location here.

It's located right off the freeway in a truck stop/gas station. There's also a Mexican place and BBQ joint in the same plaza. They share a dining area with Desi Dhaba, if you choose to dine in. I chose take-out this time. I ordered the samosas, butter chicken, and garlic naan. But they had plenty of other choices, mainly vegetable entrees to choose from including Chana Masala and Matar Paneer. Samosas: Perfectly fried and great flavor, especially with the chutney dip, which was delicious. They had a medium spice level. I would definitely order this again. Garlic naan: Fresh, soft and still warm when I got home. Could use a bit more garlic flavor. Butter chicken: I ordered medium spice, and it was just the right amount of spice. Flavorful, but could use a bit more salt. Chicken was cut into perfect bite-sized pieces and not overcooked. I loved that the dish was still hot when I got home. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and I look forward to trying more items on their menu in the future.

We also found out that she is a dietitian and prepares all of the food without added sugar, other than the dessert of course. We were celebrating a special event in my mother's life, and David brought her a complementary congratulatory dessert. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. The whole experience was so nice that she's already determined to come back for her birthday.

Parking in the nearby free…read moregarage was perfect timing since many workers and patients of the nearby UF medical center had already left for the day. Only one other couple was dining in, and there were a lot of take out orders being picked up. The place was well-lit, clean, and had ample space. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Scout was our waitress and Deepak was the host. Menu has all the Indian cuisine staples that we expected - we ordered 3 orders of garlic naan, fried rice with veggies and egg, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower side dish ) - all with medium spiciness - with mango lassi and masala Chai tea for drinks. While waiting for our orders, we washed our hands and the single-occupancy restrooms were clean and stocked. The only downside to the facilities in general are the slightly hard chairs / benches as these were possibly made with the intention of not spending too much time in the restaurant or for people with more natural padding in that area . The naan arrived about 10 minutes later, followed by the rest of the food. The naan was excellent - just the way we like it (not too soft, not too crunchy, with enough garlic oil for taste). The basmati rice was cooked just right in the individual bowls and also in the generous portion of the fried rice. It was my first time trying the aloo gobi, and I loved it! I never knew about this dish, and my husband said it was a must try. I also tasted his chicken tikka masala, and it was also made deliciously. The drinks were also great - mango lassi was fresh and not too sweet. Masala Chai tea was exactly how I imagined it would be. Overall, we spent around 1 hour and about $100 on our date here, including generous tip. We are glad to be repeat customers to try more dishes, and of course, enjoy more garlic naan .

The server brought us lentil cracker and some nice sauces while we looked at the menu. I had the shrimp Marsala curry and asked for medium spice level. Service was quick and attentive and the food quality continues to be excellent. We had a couple of Mango Lassi's, onion kulcha, shrimp biryani, and lamb biryani. We asked for mild, but of course biryani always has a little spice heat that is pleasant and you temper it with the Raita that comes along with the dish. Portions are huge - we took at least half of each dish home. We finished up with the free mango soft serve which was a very nice way to counter the lingering spice flavors from the biryani.
