Goodness gracious, I ADORE this boba place! My favorite boba establishment in Southern California. Delicious drinks; including, but not limited to, milk teas, thai tea, taro tea, mocha blended drinks, fruit smoothies, and frappes. Their food selection is wide and I don't think you can go wrong with any plate. Some house favorites are the pop corn chicken, the soups, fries, tofu, barbeque chicken plates, spring rolls, tortas, and the crispy chicken plate that comes with veggies and rice. (I obviously love chicken, huh). But there other great options! The service is phenomenal! Shout out to Jenny! Everyone is really sweet and patient when you just need a few moments to absorb all of the menu items. The building is really clean with ample space provided for seating. There are couches in the back making it a very homey place to study, chat, or watch the movies that they sometimes play on the TV screens. Truly one Pomona's hidden gems! read more

It was my first visit here... I was skeptical to come here based on the reviews but fortunately for me I received great service and my drink was decent, too. The young lady working greeted me when I walked in and while she was with other guests :). She told me that if I didn't like drink that she would make me a different one... I ordered the Honey Green Tea with boba that is sweetend with Honey and it was good. Its not in the greatest part of town but if I was near by I would stop by again. read more

Their drinks are delicious but the service is horrible . I got the Cajun shrimp and they cooked it too long making the shrimp very rubbery. Couldn't even peel the shrimp and then when I was done and actually was able to finally eat it it tasted horrible!!! They wouldn't return my money because they said I peeled them all and now they couldn't reheat it and give it to another customer!!!!! I MEAN ARE YOU KIDDING ME .....REHEAT THE SHRIMP!!!???!! Overpriced and beyond rude owner. Ordered $20 worth of food here including tempura shrimp, which came as a few small shrimp covered in heavy chicken nugget style breading. She has absolutely no customer service. When asked to change to another dish as the tempura shrimp was unappetizing and not tempura battered, she refused unless I paid for it. Mind you, I ate only 1 of the tiny shrimp. I didn't even ask for a refund until after she declined my request for something else. I'm sure you could imagine her cheap self definitely decline that as well. Will definitely not be back. read more

I just recently moved here from Whittier, and we are surrounded by Boba tea places, so when I researched on yelp for a Tea place I was very please to have found this place. The Outside is not so appealing but the inside is absolutely cute! This is what makes it even better. For my drink I ordered a Passion Green Tea with Passion Fruit Jelly as well as Boba and for food my Husband ordered a Philly Cheese steak with some Teriyaki chicken. The food was and my drink was very refreshing. I will defiantly recommend coming here a fresh drink and some lunch. :) read more

PROS: - There are plenty of tables to dine-in. - You can order over the phone and pick-up. - Their menu has more than just boba drinks, including rice dishes and chicken. - This place is the only boba place around this area. CONS: - After I had spicy popcorn chicken at this place for dinner, I got diarrhea and had to get up to go to the bathroom many times during that night. I eat spicy food all the time and this is one of the few rare times I experienced food poisoning in my life. What made it worse was that it was one of the nights of my 3-day Bar Exam to get my law license! I went into the exam at 8am with very little sleep the night before. My bf also got diarrhea from eating at this place on a different occasion. We're never going back here. read more

Well even thought this place is local for me it is not the greatest. Their boba drinks are pretty good and their food is like average. Its not good. I mean their popcorn chicken have like no chicken in them. Their fries are alright. The only thing I like would be the Hawaiian bbq plate, but the meat was pretty oily and fatty. I came here on a Friday night a few weeks ago. The place was packed and there was one guy working the front and one cook. The guy at the front, I forget his name, tall skinny Asian guy, was working his ass off. I am a GM of a restaurant and completely was impressed with how he conducted himself. Yes, it was a bit of a wait, but he was friendly to everyone, brought out everyone's stuff with a smile and got them the extras that they asked for, then he'd run back to help the next person. I was so impressed with him that I went back after we got our drinks, asked for my credit receipt back and left him a very large tip. He is a serious gem of an employee and I hope the owners of this place appreciate him. I'd hire him in a second! read more

I love half & half tea express in Rowland Heights but they are always packed and like I said it's a mission to get there. TBH, this place is very expensive for very small portions. Its like they think they're cha for tea or something. The tea is mediocre, the crispy chicken is good (but dang, it's spicy! This location use to be a lollicup now it's called boba tea zone. They are really clean pretty quick with the drinks and the food is made fresh so expect to wait a couple of minutes . They have a clean comfortable lounge area. You can also sit at the chairs and tables to enjoy a dine in experience. They are located on a main street so it's advisable to park inside there parking lot which shares alot with the nail salon next door. Same owner, different name. The girls behind the counter are a little slow. We ordered a green tea, jasmine milk tea, and popcorn chicken. There were three parties ahead of ours so our food came out first. For some reason, they left the food behind the counter instead of giving it to us. They probably wanted the food and drinks to come out together. After letting it sit there for 5 minutes, we asked for the food so it wouldn't get cold. After waiting a bit longer, the party after us gets their drink first... They ordered slushies and ours were tea.. Idk why our drinks didn't get made first. When my jasmine milk tea came out, it was watered down and bland. Naturally, I asked them to remake it with more sugar (fructose syrup) and the worker proceeded to ask her coworker, "Can we do that?" OF COURSE you can.. My drink sucked. Anyhoo, they remade it better but not great. read more

Called in a simple order of two drinks and a popcorn chicken. Was quoted 5-10 minutes. Came in about 3 min after we called in and our drinks were ready for us. We sat down and waited for the popcorn chicken. 20 minutes pass by and still no chicken so we finally say something to the two guys working there, one who has dyed blonde hair and weird swirls on his head (who were just slicing fruit) and he tells me that oh! We were looking for you. But they never called or name. Or even bothered to look for us. We were literally two of the four people inside the restaurant, and we were sitting right in front of them. The food is good thats why I keep coming back its been 4 times they get my order late or wrong but Im patient , and the costumer service from what it seems to be the owner , she has an attitude :-/ , example : they forgot out popcorn chicken and I see them serving all other people , Im almost done with my plate my son still waiting for the chicken I go to the counter and say " Excuse me we are still missing our chicken" and she responded :" NO YOUR NOT MISSING ANYTHING WE ARE COOKING ! Okay food and absolutely no service at all! Please skip the Spring rolls. They were not good, and came with a sauce that swam in its own oily mush. Vermicelli was surprisingly delicious, and the portion was large enough to share with a friend. Nothing special about their bobas either, although I would like to try their fruit juices. I come here a lot for their popcorn chicken, honey green/black tea, and rose milk tea. Sometimes they make my popcorn chicken too spicy when i ask for mild. Good thing the popcorn chicken is crunchy unlike the other lollicup I went to. The rose milk tea isn't good when they mistakenly put too much sugar in it. It is no big deal. 4/5 stars because regardless of what I put this is my local boba place. read more

I love this place ! I have been going here for years! Today I asked for a jasmine milk tea instead of a jasmine green tea. I asked one of the girls if they can add more tea for me and she said yes. But then she realized i wanted a jasmine green tea and they said they can make me a completely new one. I later found out her name was Karina. I didn't get her coworker's name but I wish I did.
