Tried this out for the first time today. Having lived and worked in the area for quite a few years, I had never heard of Boba Tealicious. I was pleasantly surprised. Fast and friendly service and a refreshing strawberry smoothie that didn't last long. Thanks guys! You made my day!

Small Matcha Tea w/ Boba & Large Taro Milk Tea w/ Bo ba

Stopped in here on Thursday @ 3pm with my friend. We ordered a Large Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba and a Small Matcha Tea w/ Boba. We sat down and enjoyed our beverages. I have never been here before but my friend had recommended we try it. It is an interesting storefront as you would almost have to have heard about this thru word of mouth due to it being inside a city plaza building. But man were the drinks awesome! They gave us a punch card too which is inticing us to come back. They had some cool board games you could play which I thought was pretty fun and inviting. Thanks for making my afternoon that much more enjoyable!

Great place! It's like a hidden gem in through the hall! I love every single milk tea I have gotten here. The lady and her husband are the sweetest and kindest people, Lear go try you won't be disappointed

The best boba place in Chico. I prefer their milk teas. My favorite is the almond milk tea with the classic boba. I do like their slushes, but sometimes they aren't blended enough for my liking and have chunks of unblended ice so I tend to stick to the milk tea. The people who work there/own the business are always really friendly. Great customer service that makes you want to come back! I originally gave this place 5/5 stars, but they tend to have inconsistent hours that aren't posted and that can be frustrating

Large Thai tea x medium peach passion fruit FT with peach bursting boba

It was my first time in Chico and I wanted to try something new, so I came here. I would definitely recommend coming here for some really great tasting drinks. I got a Thai tea and was very impressed with its authentic Thai flavor; while my girlfriend, who is very picky, got a passion fruit and peach red bull infused tea with peach bursting boba, also known as popping boba. Didn't get her name, but she was a very sweet worker!

Yummilicious!

The pearls were boiled to perfection! Soft and chewy and still tasted good after being soaked in my smoothie for a while. I got the Taro smoothie. The smoothie is not as sweet as other boba drinks I've had from other places but after a couple of tries, the sweetness was perfect. We also tried to Thai tea which is also one of the best Thai tea drinks I've ever had!

The drink quality and snacks really stand out and could compete with the various shops you might find all over the Bay Area. The popcorn chicken has a nice texture and has the desired taste you expect from a Taiwanese style snack. It isn't the non sense store bought chicken that you might find at other shops or restaurants that try to cut costs. I really appreciate how you can taste the tea in the various drinks. Many boba places get this wrong by using too much syrup or get it too watered down. However, the ratio and tea taste is perfect here. The experience with the staff members here for the past few months has been more than great. Overall, Project Tea is the only place you should go to for boba if you live near Chico State.

I reeeeeally wanted to like this place and after many attempts to eat here (and finding them…read moreclosed), I FINALLY discovered them open during the Downtown Christmas Preview. I was beyond excited to try the spicy katsu chicken sando (I literally attempted eating here for 2 months but kept missing their open hours. They are VERY limited). The pricing I was charged was a bit more than what was on their menu, which I hadn't noticed until after the fact. :-/ When the sandwich arrived it was not at all what expected. I looked up the sandwich months ago and it appeared to be a juicy chicken breast between sliced cabbage on thick, fluffy bread. What I got was some beat up, flattened GREEEEEEASY gummy chicken that wasn't the least bit appetizing. It reminded me of frog legs and I was pretty much grossed out after the 2nd bite. The bread was exactly the same as Astesano Bakery Bread and didn't seem "home made" as their menu states. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't (home made) but it sure seemed like the same bread I buy at Safeway. Needless to say I was BEYOND bummed out. I guess that's partially my fault though, I mean... I saw a picture they used to have posted on their menu (it's no longer there) and had expectations that it was going to be exactly the same, which it most certainly was NOT. If I could sum it up in 2 words: Gummy & Greasy. Yuck. The best part was the cabbage so, that's what I ate and ditched the rest of the "sandwich" to the trash. So yeah, $13 + tip for some cabbage. Awesome. With that said, I don't recommend this place for the Sando's but! I may return for the egg rolls. They look good in the pictures however since I got 100% duped this time around, I think I'll ask if anybody I personally know has tried the egg rolls first before I spend any more money here. I do like their outdoor dining and if they could move the ginormous trash bins away from the outside dining tables it would be a great place to dine (who wants to eat next to trash cans??) I'll end on a positive note and say, I did like that they have an option of indoor or outdoor dining, if they move the trash cans, that would be my preferred place to eat.

Such a lovely and unique spot that adds to the fun of downtown Chico. Today I just tried the Hmong sausage and Thai tea. The lady working was sweet and let me sample the tea to test its sweetness. I think it's spot-on. The sausage is perfectly juicy, spicy and savory. It's rich, flavorful, and reminds me of the holidays.
