I came here with my friend and I ordered a Thai Tea with boba and she ordered a Taro+Lavender with boba. I loved the texture of the boba!! For sure the best texture I've experienced in Chico. The flavor of the Thai tea was also excellent! There was one girl working and she was great at communicating with us, it was our first time there. I thought it was incredibly cool how we were able to mix our drinks with 2 flavors! My friend's Taro+Lavender combo was great. As for the shop, I was impressed by how clean the tables were when we sat down and waited for our drinks. I wish this place was a little easier to find, I'm sure they'd get a lot more attention if they weren't inside the little mall. read more

Stopped in here on Thursday @ 3pm with my friend. We ordered a Large Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba and a Small Matcha Tea w/ Boba. We sat down and enjoyed our beverages. I have never been here before but my friend had recommended we try it. It is an interesting storefront as you would almost have to have heard about this thru word of mouth due to it being inside a city plaza building. But man were the drinks awesome! They gave us a punch card too which is inticing us to come back. They had some cool board games you could play which I thought was pretty fun and inviting. I do like their slushes, but sometimes they aren't blended enough for my liking and have chunks of unblended ice so I tend to stick to the milk tea. The pearls were boiled to perfection! Soft and chewy and still tasted good after being soaked in my smoothie for a while. I got the Taro smoothie. The smoothie is not as sweet as other boba drinks I've had from other places but after a couple of tries, the sweetness was perfect. Coming from the bay area, there were a lot of boba tea places but coming to chico, that was a totally different story (hardly any boba tea). Boba tealicious is very well hidden inside the Garden Walk so it'll be easy to miss. Street parking is your best bet here. The place gave a typical boba tea place feel from the bay area so it was quite refreshing and comparable. You got milk teas and fusion teas. For the fusion teas they consist of green tea and/or black tea base with a great selection of flavors. Cool thing is you get to mix two flavors into one cup. I got the fusion tea with peach and pineapple mixed together. It was cool and refreshing but didn't taste as sweet, not too bad. I would ask for a little sweeter next time. While I waited, the ladies offered me free samples of the milk tea flavors on the menu and they were really good; something I will definitely get next time. Overall, boba is still relatively new to chico and this is one of the very very few places to check out. Friendly staff and great service with a good selection of tea flavors. read more

So I was dying to try this place and missed it the couple times I was downtown because they close on Sunday, so yesterday we went out of our way to try it because we really wanted it. I got my usually lychee tea with lychee jelly and pearls and Bf got an iced coffee with pearl. As far as the tea goes it was a bit watered down but still good. The jellies were perfect but the pearls were way overcooked. They kind of mushed in your mouth had no bite to them and as I said in a recent review that is what makes a good pearl. It just has to a have a very small bite to it. BF hated his iced coffee said it tasted weird and I tried it and it was off. Maybe he's used to drip coffee I don't know but he said the same thing about the pearls overdone. If I am downtown and it's open I will come back but I don't think I will go out of my way. read more
