While the wait was longer than usual, the atmosphere was filled with joy, kindness, and a real sense of community. The staff handled the busy evening incredibly well. They consistently thanked customers for their patience, even though no one seemed bothered by the wait because we all seemed to understand and expect it. I was genuinely impressed by the positive attitude of every staff member working the Monday night event. They radiated joy and patience and never appeared stressed or short-tempered despite how busy they were. Their communication with one another was seamless, and they were just as welcoming and attentive to every customer who walked through the door. In a community that has been grieving, the environment they created tonight was truly something special. It has a thick fat cap that my boyfriend likes. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND! If you get their grass fed one it will run about 17 bucks. If you go for the regular one it will only cost about 6.50. I love this place! Sushi...coffee shop..made to order pizzas..hot breakfast station..deli..nice wines..etc. The employees are always super nice! Best of all is that they have outside seating for pets and will allow well behaved small dogs inside while you are shopping! Ps. I was staying at Oxford Hotel, and their coffee is wonderful, so I had high expectations for this coffee shop. I asked for a black coffee, expecting a bold cup of steaming Java. Instead, I got a lukewarm cup of flavored coffee. I dumped it in the grass and went back for what I had requested. When I reiterated that I had wanted black coffee and I told them it tasted like almonds and vanilla, she informed me that was their "house brew" and gave me another cup. At least that one was hot. Tried to drink it, but started getting sick, so I trashed that one also. I had to wait until I got back to the hotel to get a decent cup of coffee. Ridiculous.
