Bidwell Perk absolutely nailed it. Everyone working there was genuinely friendly and provided excellent customer service. They clearly use high-quality beans, and as someone who drinks coffee black and is admittedly a bit of a coffee snob, that matters. I also grabbed a ginger snap cookie, and it was everything I hoped for: perfectly gingery without being overpowering, soft, and wonderfully chewy. We were only there briefly (mostly due to the prompt service) since we were just passing through on our way home, but if we'd had more time, I would've happily lingered and enjoyed the space. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.

They consistently thanked customers for their patience, even though no one seemed bothered by the wait because we all seemed to understand and expect it. I was genuinely impressed by the positive attitude of every staff member working the Monday night event. They radiated joy and patience and never appeared stressed or short-tempered despite how busy they were. Their communication with one another was seamless, and they were just as welcoming and attentive to every customer who walked through the door. In a community that has been grieving, the environment they created tonight was truly something special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening such a positive experience while supporting such an important cause. The food was delicious as always!

I stood there for approximately 5-7 minutes without being acknowledged, greeted, or even told that someone would be with me shortly. Finally, I said, "Excuse me, is this still the line to order?" The employee, whose name I believe was Emil (or Amil), very coldly responded, "Yeah, but as you can see, I'm busy," while he was working with one of the coffee machines. I told him that he could have simply said, "Good morning," or acknowledged me. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders and showed no concern whatsoever about how I had been treated. As a woman of color in an environment where everyone else appeared to be white, I found the experience extremely uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. I cannot speak to his intentions, but the way I was treated made me question whether I was being treated differently because of my race. It would have taken two seconds to say, "Good morning, we'll be right with you." Instead, I was ignored for several minutes and then spoken to in a dismissive and unapologetic manner. Customer service and basic courtesy should apply to everyone. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant first experience, and I will not be returning.

They hold events & allowed the birthday girl to put up some things to celebrate her birthday. We were allowed to order any drink such as specialty coffees, iced teas, sparkling, sodas, etc. And they also set out some water, iced tea, and a mango guava punch which were unlimited. each guest got to have two fusion tacos and a side of potato salad. Their fusion tacos were served on Naan and had really good ingredients. The two tacos that we were served one was Greek and one was Barbecue. They were very well balanced, and you can tell that there was a lot of care put into them. What I loved most about the tacos is the filling was different than what you would normally see for a taco. So for example, the barbecue had an apple slaw with pulled pork and the Greek taco had this mixture of zucchini and chickpeas with chicken. The potato salad had sun-dried tomatoes in it, and it was definitely different than I've ever had for a potato salad and it was delicious. For dessert, we were serve some cookies and a brownie. They were also very good. When I got a chance to sit down with my friend and talk to her about the food. She mentioned that they do pop up dinner sometimes, that the breakfast & lunch sandwiches are really good and that they make a lot of item "house made" for their drinks and their food . We also enjoy their butterscotch coffee and the Almond Joy and I'm told they make the butterscotch themselves. The staff/owners were great and were really trying to be so accommodating to our group. I was trying to decide on my next meal and was asking a lot of questions. She responded dismissively by saying, she "didn't have time for my questions." When I mentioned that she had answered all my questions the week prior, nothing changed so I pointed out that it was much busier the week prior compared to me being there for the second time, she maintained her viewpoint. I understand she was filling in while her daughter was on maternity leave at that time but that's still not an excuse to treat customers poorly, especially around dietary needs. Because of that interaction, I won't be returning. No second chance from me. If you have dietary restrictions, I'd think twice.
