I absolutely love this place and would highly recommend it! The atmosphere is bright, fun, and spacious! They have a huge selection of games to choose from (must ask the front) and their drinks have a wide variety. I got their Lychee Green Tea with Boba and it's so good! Parking is easy, around a center and the service is quick and simple. Love this place!

I wish I had discovered this place earlier, Darn! The vibe is simply amazing, the service is excellent, they play some great music and provide some great selection of fun games to enjoy. We ordered: 1) MANGO MILK TEA: The mango milk tea with boba and mango jelly offers a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Overall, it's a delicious and satisfying beverage. 2) STRAWBERRY SEDUCTION: This smoothie has the perfect balance of the classic sweetness of vanilla with the vibrant, fruity notes of strawberry. This drink is sure to please anyone. What else could you ask for?

The place has great ambience, friendly staff. We came on Monday afternoon during the holidays, it was empty! Our drinks got served immediately, they have a great selection of fruity drinks. We got the star girl tea and it was pretty good. The place started filling up after we came. There were also cute plushies! Overall it was a good boba shop.

BobaLust had really great boba. I ordered a Lychee green tea, 0% sweet and loved it. Any additional sweet would have been too much as it was quite sweet on its own. The service was friendly and prompt, and the seating very plentiful. We sipped our teas quickly and then headed out to grab a bite. I will definitely be coming back to BobaLust!

I'm a classic OG boba person who defaults to 25% sweet light ice -- the counter guy suggested no sweet (and have the boba balls carry the sweetness of the tea) and it was the perfect rec. Also the space is fun and welcoming, great community space they created! Visiting from Tahoe by way of NYC and SF (and Taiwan) - great spot, great tea, lucky for Bellevue folks!

My favorite place to get my classic black milk tea. The tapioca is amazing, specifically the honey boba. This establishment is always consistent with the flavor and service for the customers which I thoroughly appreciate. It is also nice that it is open pretty late, perfect for a late night craving. I don't really stay in the store, I just order and leave (quick service!), but it seems like a nice place to hang out with friends; I've even seen some people study here, so maybe that is something to consider.

Delicious drinks. Yummy, soft boba. Great service. Would definitely come back. We tried a variety of drinks from milk teas to smoothies and everything was so good! Taro tea with boba and custard was 10/10 (this is my go to at all boba shops). They have cute star shaped jellies/fruit which is such a fun detail! Everyone was pleased with their drinks.

Lots of love for BobaLust! This is now one of my top places to grab a tea. They have several unique signature teas, smoothies and slushies, most of which include fruit bits or jelly. I love the names... Legend of Momo, Lychee Bomb and Cuddles on the Beach all sounded delicious to me. If you want a more traditional drink, you can select from their menu of milk teas and original teas. Two employees managed ordering and crafting the drinks. The employee we spoke with was knowledgeable about the menu and had such a cheerful attitude which we appreciated. Since we inquired about the sweetness levels of our drinks, he offered samples of them at 0% sugar so that we could let him know if we wanted more sweetener. Surprisingly at 0%, our teas were bursting with fruit flavor and we didn't see a need to alter them. It was very generous of him to provide the samples and is something that makes BobaLust stand out amongst its competitors. I got their specialty STARGIRL ($6), which was a shaken raspberry peach green tea with mango bits (jelly). This was SO refreshing with bright fruitiness and juiciness from the mango bits! Additionally, they perfectly executed my request for light ice. I enjoyed every sip. At any other shop, I typically would have ordered boba, but I didn't miss it at all with this drink. I also couldn't help but notice that some of the mango bits were cut into star shapes - what a cute detail! My companion enjoyed an ORIGINAL LYCHEE BLACK TEA ($5) with boba (+$0.75). She said it had a strong lychee flavor and the boba was nice and firm as opposed to being soft. Their teas are on the more fruity side and dominate the actual flavor of the tea, but I didn't mind too much since I was more than happy with my drink. I'd definitely stop by whenever I'm in the area to try more of their signature creations.

6 stars!!!! I've been in several boba and so far this is my favorite: Flavors wise The friendliness The place is clean It's fun! I felt safe (lovely neighborhood) We definitely will come back to play board games and enjoy the milk tea. I'd say summer time is the best time. There's a lot of parking spots. Since it was our first time here, we went through the menu, mainly they have slushies, smoothies, milk teas. The original milk tea is out of this world!!! The cherry on top was when I placed my order they helped me with the level of sweetness. They delivered an amazing Blushing Dragon!! For the Pokémon lovers, take a look to their furry decorations. PS: next to BobaLust there are other stores conveniently close (Barthel, grocery outlet, ACE, gyms)

Drinks tend to be sweet if ordering "regular" so adjust your sugar levels! Otherwise great fruit flavors and tapioca boba texture 5/5 Raspberry peach was super refreshing. Was advised it's already sweet so did 0% additional sugar. This was delicious 4/5 the blue curaçao lychee was pretty good but it kept reminding me of a non alcoholic AMF cocktail. Similarly with existing syrups did 0% additional sugar Cute place to hang out and meet friends. There are free board games to borrow and cute Pokémon plushies for decor

I came here with my daughter for a Yelp Elite Experience and bought her a Taro Milk Tea with Honey Boba. She really enjoyed this drink and I enjoyed mine as well. I had the Stawberry Seduction. This Kirkland location of the rapidly expanding Bobalust is very tastefully decorated and has a large interior area. There are games behind the counter for customers to borrow. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Very considerate as well. Thanks Bobalust for being great!

Love the Chicha here!…read more They tasted better than the Chicha in Singapore!! SERVICE 5/5 Staff was so earnest, kind and attentive. The two times I was there, they gave me samples of tea to try. AMBIANCE 5/5 Very limited seatings but if you were lucky like me, you will enjoy sipping tea here. Bright, clean and very lively esp on weekends (meaning long line! lol). DRINKS 5/5 The first time I had the "Osmanthus Mango" (did not quite remember the name) and the 2nd time "Bee My Plum". Both drinks were excellent. Funnily, this ChiCha and a couple of other places would be something I miss in Bellevue.

Since Chicha San Chen opened its Bellevue Square location, I have stopped by a couple times. While…read morethey serve some of the best boba, the tea flavor tastes a bit diluted compared to what I noted in my previous review. Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #126…read more I've visited Bobae a couple more times at this point and need to upgrade them to a 5 for consistency. From my most recent visit on a Tuesday afternoon: Iron Goddess Oolong Milk Tea, Bae Size, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($8) - This is a really interesting drink that doesn't taste like any other Iron Goddess (Tieguanyin) that I've had before. Instead of a more oxidized, somewhat vegetal and earthy taste, this tea delivers the aroma of warm holiday spices like clove and nutmeg. At half sweet, it's still a bit too much for me (reminder for myself to get 25% next time), but it's not a harsh sweetness by any means. The boba is very good and have been consistently good in my prior visits (other than my first visit, which was an outlier!). The pearls are clearly sweetened in syrup and have a texture that compresses on the tongue, but remains really bouncy. It's one of the few places that allows me my favorite boba chewing technique - biting off six sides to create a boba center cube. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 Surprisingly, Bobae has turned into one of my favorite boba shops in the Seattle metro. It was definitely unexpected from my first visit! Drinks: [4.75/5] Service: [ ] Other: [ ] Final Rating: 5/5

I swung by to get their Nitro OG milk tea with boba, 50% sweet and light ice. I think that nitro…read morebrewed tea is a little gimmicky since I've been to Bobae's other locations and the tea always felt like a normal milk tea. Nitro coffee is real though, since it makes the coffee smoother and frothy at the same time. SO, I was surprised to see that the top of this tea was actually a bit frothy with tiny bubbles! Interesting. Maybe the other locations aren't doing it properly? Anyway, this made the tea have a silkier mouthfeel, although I'm still not sure it does anything for the flavor of the tea as milk and sugar are already added, making the drink super smooth and creamy to begin with. The boba here is soft, bouncy and perfectly chewy. It's soaked in syrup, adding another dimension of flavor. I'll be coming back!
