I ordered the jasmine tea with almond milk. Interesting enough, didn't taste like tea or milk. Their menu is not really focus towards tea forward drinks, so I get it that this place was not a good choice for me. The menu looks interesting if the drinks offered is in your wheelhouse. The girls staffing the shop are very nice and chatty. They were fast. Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

My friend loves this place, so I dropped by with him on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by how empty it was. There was only one table for two located below the menu screens which meant people were staring in our direction to look at the menu the whole time we were seated which can be off-putting, especially if you like your personal space. I asked for the chococat with strawberries instead of raspberries which they were able to do for me. It tased incredible like a chocolate covered strawberry and I enjoyed my drink. I just wished they'd offered oat milk since almond milk is just as bad for the environment as regular dairy. I appreciated how accommodating and friendly the staff were. The bathroom is unisex, and was clean when I went in. I also appreciated how clean the entire cafe was including the tables. Our drinks were made quickly and packaged well. My friend got a blue lagoon which is his go-to and he loved it. He also really enjoyed the music they were playing at the store.

I got the stargirl drink and it was delicious!! Hope to come back and try out some of the other drinks

Forgot to take a pic of my Purple Galaxy. Never had an Oreo/Taro mix but maan I loved it. If you love both and have a never tried this combo (and if you like sweet treats), this is the one. A bit cramped and long lines, and also a lil' loud on the inside. But don't let that stop you from getting that Purple Galaxy

Soooo YUM. Was recommended this spot while staying in the Tukwila area and was NOT disappointed. Loved the drink options, the staff was quick and the atmosphere was very cool. I ordered the Cuddles on the Beach Smoothie which consists of a peach base with strawberry and mango. Delicious! Will definitely make this a regular tukwila stop in.

This has to be one of my favorite boba places for fruit tea's. My personal favorite now is the lychee green tea with boba and lychee pieces. The drink isn't bitter or too sweet so it's a great in between. The restaurant itself is very clean and the service is pretty fast!

Great tasting slush, low price, option for 0% sweetness, quick service, very friendly cashier, what more can I ask for?! I wish this place was in Chicago! This really hit the spot after the heat this week! The music inside is bumping!

Love boba lust, always open late. I also love that the jelly's are fun shaped (lychee are stars!). The service is nice, the drinks are always solid. We both got half sweet and they're still pretty sweet. We decided to try the macaroons, we got four and it was 50% hit or miss. Half of them were really good and the other half were hard. Would and have gone back. Raiju (lychee passion fruit peach black tea with lychee jelly and peach bits): 9 Cali kiss (passion fruit black tea with lychee jelly and mango bits ): 7.5 Macarons: Viet coffee: 4/10 (hard) Strawberry: 3/10 (hard) Chocolate: 9/10 Milk tea: 6/10 (tastes like brown sugar not tea, not strong flavor)

Go here all the time and almost always get the lychee lemonade (one of their "signature teas"). The jellies are just the right chew and the drink is perfect sweetness and tartness and flavor. (It is realllyyy sweet tho- as are most of their drinks.) They're also open late (11pm). Tonight's staff member was super friendly (A+). 75 cent charge per add ons but most of the signature drinks have included toppings ($6-6.50). Milk teas, original teas, and original slush are all $5 (no toppings included, so you gotta add on). My cousins love the purple galaxy (blended taro and Oreo). Music is always a lil too loud so if that's your vibe go for it (music ain't bad tho, just loud if u wanna chill and talk).

Service was great. They were friendly and welcoming. The lychee strawberry explosion drink was good. I wasn't really into the raspberry, strawberry, honeydew drink because you could taste the artificial.

    Temima N.

I forgot to take a picture of my drink but I got the honeydew with tapioca. It was alright - refreshing after a long flight. I ordered this originally but I got a honeydew milk tea instead but the staff was really nice and they made me the right drink right away so I thought the service was good. They did run out of oat milk otherwise I'd keep the order but otherwise I appreciate the service & the boba did the job for what I needed.

    Thai tea

The Boba is pretty mid. Only came here because it open late. Customer service was weird asf. I get that they have sketchy teenagers coming here late at night, but scanning a $10 bill to check if it's real was weird, embarrassing and warranted a review. Maybe they thought I wanted free food because I saw they had musubis, but after getting a closer look I changed my mind because they looked gross. I get I came in modest joggers, and didn't look my best. but after they did that I felt the need to flash my Louis Vuitton wallet when I got my change back purposely not leave a tip felt extremely satisfying. Never judge a book by its cover.

Thai Green Tea with boba - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

I was lusting to suck on some black balls in the late night hours cause I want to feel something (not what you think, it's boba... chill lol), and BobaLust hits the spot in 2 dimensions: the chill ambience and their late hours. Before BobaLust, the typical decent Seattle boba shop will close at like 8pm and any later than that, you are stuck with very mediocre options that close at midnight (you know where). Some friends and I went here around 10:15pm while it was pouring rain outside, and I resisted the urge but failed. So many people recommended the Thai green tea and I personally haven't had Thai green tea before so I decided to get that with honey boba, so yolo, what is sleep. Now, the Thai green tea is worth keeping me up late at night until 4am because there is so much caffeine. It is very fragrant and even though I opted for half sugar and half ice, it is a full drink and nothing is watered down. The boba is very good, not the best, but excellent especially at this hour. It is soft and chewy, as you expect, and they are quite flavorful too. One small bonus is that you can be as wholesome or unhinged as you want here - the cup has "I only love boba & ____" and you can write anything you want! Let me know what you say!

    Cute decor :)

What exactly is the "Angels Envy" consisted of?

It’s a secret! What we can say is it’s made with two different flavors, one that isn’t anywhere else on the menu. It’s tart, floral, with a nice blend of fruitiness. Next time you come in, be adventurous and order the Angels Envy!

From what I saw, most of the counter staff behave in a rude, arrogant, and disrespectful way toward customers, although there may be exceptions. Some employees may not get involved, but the overall atmosphere behind the counter feels very unpleasant. There was a situation where a person was waiting in line, just standing a little to the side, and some employees started acting like he was trying to skip the line and began confronting him for no reason. Instead of normal customer service, there was attitude, accusations, and disrespectful behavior. Another uncomfortable situation was with the language. When someone clearly understands Russian or Ukrainian but deliberately responds in English and acts like they don't understand the customer, it looks disrespectful and unprofessional. Especially when it is obvious that the person understands what is being said. Again, the café itself may be okay, but the main group working behind the counter really ruins the experience. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of what language they speak or where exactly they are standing while waiting in line. Very unpleasant experience. I hope the owners pay attention to how their employees treat customers.

On a hot, sunny day around 2:50pm on Friday I decided to make the drive here after suddenly…read moreremembering one of my foodie friends had this place several times during other weekends. I actually had to park behind the building then look at other Yelp reviews to find out that there is parking on gravel near their dumpsters closest to LaShaun Daye Hair. Though I don't know if the parking lot where this building and E Marginal Way meet can also be used...street parking in this area was scarce, contrary to most Yelp reviews I've read. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!

I've been wanting to try this place since I first heard of it…read more GETTING THERE: It seems tucked away in Tukwila, but it's actually extremely easy to get to and not to far off the exit from Hwy 599 coming from South Center. It's maybe about 2-3 min off the Interurban Ave exit. After a couple left turns, it's right on the corner of a 4-way stop. You can't miss it. PARKING: The place isn't very big but there is plenty of street parking available. There's also a small lot by the convenience store nearby. AMBIANCE: It's a very small place with Vietnamese decor and an aquarium. It was giving vibes of the sunroom at my aunt's house Vietnamese music playing in the background haha. There are limited seats if you choose to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a couple tables on the side, or you can sit on the stools along the window. I think the place felt a little empty. It could use a couple more tables and chairs along the window instead of the stools. This layout kind of felt like a Baskin Robbins or a small local ice cream shop. SERVICE: I didn't see anyone at first when I walked in, but there was someone to ready to take my order by the time I got to the counter. She took my order then I took a seat at the table until she called me to grab me from my order. Not much else for service. FOOD: I mainly went here for the coffee, but I figured I should try the sandwich while I was there. I ordered the bánh mì đặc biệt (house special sandwich) and the cà phê trứng (egg coffee). The sandwich to me was alright at best. The flavors were unbalanced. I mostly tasted the chả over the other cuts and the meat was pretty cold. I get that it's called a "cold cut" for a reason, but it was really cold and kind of threw off the sandwich. The bread would've been better toasted, or at least have the option to toast it. The one thing I enjoyed was the amount of pate used. The coffee on the other hand was decent. I've been in search of more places that serve egg coffee and I usually get it every chance I get. I found it a bit weird that it comes iced. I usually get an option to choose if I want it hot or cold. It didn't specify on the menu and I was never asked. So I just assumed it was not iced because the only thing that was iced was the cà phê sữa đá. Well I was wrong... The egg part was super thick, fluffy, and creamy. It was the right amount of sweetness and saltiness too. Honestly it might be the best egg cream I've had on a coffee, but it would have been much better if the coffee was warm. I just think egg coffee should be served hot. It's a personal preference. The ice keeps the egg cream on top and I can't really mix the whole thing evenly. I would've enjoyed it more if every sip was a even mixture of egg cream and coffee. OVERALL: At the end of the day, I enjoyed this place. There are a couple small improvements that would've changed my experience. I did enjoy the coffee and that's what I originally came for. The sandwich honestly wasn't bad, but I think I would try the thịt nướng next time. Some places just do one or the other better. I think it's harder the get the cold cut sandwich right vs the grilled pork. Overall it's a nice little meet up spot and I would come back again just for the egg coffee.
