Bobalust is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm down south and craving something sweet! Located just across the street from Southcenter mall, Bobalust is one of the few boba shops that actually remains open after 9 PM. If my friends and I are tryna hang and it's late, we'll always end up here. I think what's unique about Bobalust is that their menu is so expansive and unlike many other shops in the area! They serve more than just your regular jasmine milk tea, and have so many fun options for drinks and toppings. Service here is always fantastic as well - everyone who works here is always so genuine and kind! Bobalust is the only place where I don't get a milk tea - I always opt for their frozen smoothies or plushies! My personal favorites are the cuddles on the beach, lychee bomb, and strawberry seduction. I love the fruity flavors in these drinks and their fruit toppings as well! I haven't really had the opportunity to try their milk teas yet, I heard those are just okay in comparison to their slushes/smoothies. read more

We stayed in Washington state for the entire 2020 summer, and it was the most amazing weather I've had during the summertime since I moved to Arizona over 16 years ago. Well we were there lots and lots of restaurants were closed even though Arizona was already opening but thankfully the local Boba tea houses were open first. My brother knew of this location because he was near his job and they now have a brand new location right around the corner from his house, so I am looking forward to going back next summer. They absolutely have the most delicious drinks. The good thing is that no matter what you're looking for I'm sure they have it even though their menu is a lot smaller than most places. But that's the good thing you don't have to go through pages and pages of items you can mix and match exact exactly what you want. We will definitely be going back to all these locations because they are just so good my favorite Taro was just perfect my son loved the fruity freckled I believe it was called it was just delicious and fresh and there was always a line out the door so that's definitely a good thing. read more

They have a vast selection of drinks! It's hard to choose. Sometimes I'll ask staff what they recommend if I can't pick one flavor. I love how they are open late as well. It's a chill vibe with good customer service. Not a long wait for your drink (I've only ordered one at a time, I'm not sure how long you wait for multiple drinks). This was our first stop in Seattle, while I think boba in LA/Bay Area is better - this place does have a lot of fun flavors which is great for a wide variety of individuals. I saw that they had a thai green tea and my boyfriend and I shared our drinks. I have always been a fan of thai green tea and would say this tasted pretty good. It is on the sweeter side if you are one to want more of a stronger tea flavor.The other drink we had shared was their peach mango shaken, black tea with peach bits and mango jelly. I am a huge fan of teas and wanted to try it out. I will say there was nothing too special about it but I did like their combination of toppings. I have heard this is one of the better boba shops in the area if you are in Seattle, and I will say it is comparable to the ones I am used to drinking. I haven't had a thai green tea for a while so I was delighted when I saw they had it on the menu! I went right when they opened so it didn't take long at all for my drink to be ready. The people working were also very sweet and let me know they weren't able to get the cup to seal so they used a regular lid and gave me napkins. There's no seating inside so it's the place for boba to-go. They also have a lot of smoothies, slushies, and fruit teas to try from as well. I've been hooked on the chamolly. It's tasty and reminiscent to mangonada. I wish it had a bit more spice to it but it's good regardless. I get milk tea approximately 2-3 times a week at various locations. By far they are the fastest at making drinks, they impress me even when it's very crowded. Lychee drink a bit too sweet for me but my kiddo loves it. Overall I like it. I wish it wasn't so far from me I would come more frequently. read more

A good boba tea place in Tukwila. Easy to miss this since I did not see any signs on the main board of the strip mall. A small boba tea house. The menu is simple clearly shows whats in each and if you want add ons feel free to add them to your boba drink. We ordered the Chococat (divine - best of both worlds - chocolate and raspberry with the goodness of honey boba - A MUST try here) and the rose milk boba (this wasnt on the menu but they had it- just so good) A couple of things I missed here were the milk substitutions and also tailoring the sweetness levels! I typically have my boba tea with quarter sigar instead of regular but the only option I had here was 50% sugar, no sugar or regular sugar).. well boba sometimes is way too sweet for my taste buds (i dont have a sweet tooth hence) that is why i like the optionnof customizing the sugar level.. just my opinion.. Where have I been all these time missing on this wonderful joint? This place is in a pretty empty store mall with very minimal decor. However, the line tells you they got it right with no gimmick. We tried mango black tea, strawberry seduction, lychee lemonade and purple galaxy. All of them good. My fave are the black tea and the purple galaxy. Who would have though tarp and Oreo are like second sisters blend beautifully together. The drinks were perfect in this hot summer day. We will be back to try other flavors. read more

Bobalust in Kirkland is one of my favorite boba shops in the area, so I'm glad to see that they've now branched out to Tukwila. I got my usual drink, the legend of momo, and it was good, same taste as the other location which I usually go to. Service was super friendly, and they're very flexible with making topping substitutions which is nice. Also, not sure if I just didn't notice, but at the Kirkland location they usually give ice as small chunks which can come up in your straw sometimes - I didn't get that at this location, which was a plus. No seating in the shop for now, would be nice if they added some as they grow into the new location. read more

The staff is very friendly and the place has cool vibes. I tried the smoothie that has peach, mango, strawberry with peach bits. The peach bits are like actually pieces of peaches, but they don't give you very many. The smoothie itself it overwhelmed by the peach flavor and has a creamy tastes and texture- not sure if they peach dairy in their smoothies but they should be informing customers of this. I didn't really care for my drink, I threw it out after a few sips. I would go back and try a tea or slushie next time. read more

You have got to check this place out if you have not tried BobaLust. Of all the Boba places I have been to I think this is the best so far! From the fantastic list of menu items to the friendly employees. Cashier was friendly and also talk with us about where we were from etc. and not just taking our order and say next. Service was a bit slow since they were busy. Plenty of drinks to choose from and it was definitely hard to pick which drink to get. I am a sucker for anything lychee so I decided to get the Lychee bomb! It was very delicious and refreshing. Right when we left I wanted to go back and try another drink. This is definitely a big girl cup and chugging it while driving to Bellevue was kind of asking for trouble. But I enjoyed every second of it. I love Bobalust for their consistency. A big reason I keep coming back is that their boba (tapioca) will ALWAYS be so good. I bounce between this location and the one in Burien and am never dissapointed. The staff is always very friendly, the wait time is always minimal, and the drinks are always delicious. What a pleasant finding! I passed by this area when I was near the airport and spontaneously decided to stop in. I love boba (seriously... I do... and plz don't call it bubble tea, okay?) so I'm always on the hunt for some bomb boba drinks. LOCATION & PARKING // It's near the mall but there is actual parking in front of the actual shop. It's pretty easy to find. The location itself is incredibly aesthetic inside - let's be real, can boba shops even exist without being Instagrammable these days? - so it was nice to be in there. There are a few tables inside to sit down and chat. DRINKS // Between the three of us, we got: LYCHEE LEMONADE: This is, hands down, one of the most beautiful drinks I've ever seen. The taste of it was perfect too as it had a great balance of sweet and tangy. GREEN THAI TEA: What a fun twist on the classic orange Thai tea. It had the same flavor but wasn't as sweet, which I appreciated! CHAMOLLY: This was so unique and I was nervous about how they would make this. Meh. Disappointed. Boba tea menu lacked variety and what they did have was half (?) or so slushy or blended and almost every single drink except one(?) had caffeine. That's fine cuz some places do a small menu and they kill it ! This was not one of those places. Staff wasn't particularly friendly but meh, I'm not there for that so didn't lose a star for that. But they did lose one star for they lack of options on the menu in conjunction with the lack of non -caffeinated options (1?!) and the unimpressive one non caffeinated drink I did try. Sadly, they didn't ask about ice level. Or sugar level and didn't adjust for less ice. The drink was absolutely topped to the brim with ice displacing most of the liquid and allowing for maaaaaaybe an 8oz, if I'm generous, boba milk tea. Just all and all .... Taro is life. So when I heard BobaLust Tea House has a specialty drink called Purple Galaxy, consisting of taro and Oreo, I was down to clown. While in the area for a meeting I decided to finally check out BobaLust since I'm hardly in Tukwila. Although the door was open when I visited the friendly cashier let me know that they weren't open quite yet, so it may take a bit to get my drink, since the register was still rebooting. I wasn't in a rush, so didn't mind and it was nice of her to let me chill inside before the shop was officially open. Once the register was set she took my order and warned me that the drink may take longer than usual to get since they still had to get things in order in the kitchen. Since she warned me of this I expected it to take a bit, but it was ready way faster than I anticipated. The Purple Galaxy was a solid drink! I don't often order smoothies at bubble tea spots; but in this instance, I just had to try it. The Purple Galaxy had plenty of taro flavor, which I loved and was primarily the reason why I ordered this drink. I'm not particularly a huge fan of Oreo, so didn't mind that the taste of the cookie was light. (Just to warn you, in case you're expecting some Oreo flavor with.) Also, I thought there would be crumbs of the Oreo in the smoothie, but that wasn't the case. Again, the taro is what hooked me in. Overall, BobaLust was a great spot to visit while I was in the area for a taro smoothie! I would definitely come back to check out their other drinks, which most seemed intriguing. I've been here a total of three times and have experienced spectacular service each time. The employees always welcome you with a friendly smile and are pretty quick to complete orders. I really like the original milk tea - lots of tea flavor, and the tapioca is chewy and fresh and doesn't leave a weird aftertaste. They are also known for their fresh fruit drinks - though I do find that they tend to make them sweeter than my preference. I would come often if only I didn't live so far. Catching up on Yelp reviews. This is for a visit back on 7/14/18. Our party of 7 migrated from nearby Manila Sunset to have an assortment of boba and milk teas. Thankfully, the counter staff is efficient and weren't phased out by our family group and two other larger groups. Limited seating, but somehow all of us were able to crowd together and continue our respective conversations. Tasty iced beverages which hit the spot on that warm summer afternoon. Uhh kinda saw a health hazard.. I think this place has friendly staff but I could've sworn I saw one of the workers drinking out of the cap while making someone's drink ... like taking a sample taste.. But then the cap went back on when pouring the drink.. uh.....kinda gross. Tbh the quality is low, I got taro and I could tell it's just powdered flavor. I was stuck between giving BobaLust a 4 or 5 star, but honestly, I had a pretty great experience and no reason to knock them for anything... So 5 it is! I've been seeing this place allll over Yelp and it's literally a 10 minute drive from my house, so I've really been meaning to try it. It was a fairly nice day (like 55 and sunny in WA, so) and I felt like a mid-day sweet pickup would be fun! It's a really easy place to find. It's off to the side of the north entrance of Acme (different parking lots though) and right next to a Subway and some other shops in a strip mall type of joint. The inside is cute! Dark, swirly, modern floors and touches of plants throughout the store. There's also the iconic "be my bobalust" neon sign on the wall that you gotta get a pic of for the 'Gram. I ended up going with the "Pretty in Pink" which was the rose green milk tea. I absolutely LOVE rose milk tea, so I didn't even take the time to look at the rest of the options, really. The verdict? It's delicious! It's definitely a bit on the sweet side, but the rose flavor is perfect and the boba balls are sweet, and not too firm, which I like! It was indeed a lovely mid-day pick-me-up! I'll be back when I'm craving tea! I think the next one I have to try is the Thai Green Tea! read more
