I felt really welcome right when I walk in and the store was beautiful and you can actually see the person behind making our drink. They have really cool and chill employees. The interior has a nice aesthetic vibe to it with good music. Most tables have outlets next to them so you can charge your phone and/or computer if you need to do your homework. I thought that finding this place was semi difficult since it's part of a plaza and not the store the faces the main road. If you follow your navigation system and give the plaza a whirl you'll eventually find it! Inside is super trendy with nice tables and seats. The space isn't huge, so I wouldn't recommend bringing a large group to hang out. I tried the OG milk tea and green Thai milk tea. Both of the milk tea itself is pretty good-- it's some what powdery tasting but the sweetness level is good. I got less sweet for the OG milk tea. I would recommend the green Thai tea over the OG milk tea. What really makes this bubble tea good are the tapioca balls. They are soft, nicely chewy, and at just the right amount of sweetness. Because of this, I would come back again. Pricing wise, I thought this was on the expensive end. It was around $6 with boba added, but the amount you get tends to be considered a "small" in some places. Overall, I wouldn't go completely out of my way for bubble tea, but I would definitely make a stop by if I'm in the area. read more

The good customer service has been very consistent ever since the first time I've been there! My favorite is strawberry seduction with crystal boba and/or lychee jelly.. soo gooodd! I think their signature smoothies are a lot better than their milk teas, and that says a lot because I order milk teas at EVERY boba spot except this one! They have really unique flavors which is what I really like about it here. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Ms. Vivian at BobaLust, Tukwila. Me and a good friend visited BobaLust and had asked about dairy alternatives and no-sugar options. Ms. Vivian was very kind and patient as she explained that there were select drink offers that used a Non-Dairy Creamer. She explained drinks that contained condensed milk, and also the drinks that use a sugar syrup, white sugar, brown sugar, and honey. We elected to go no-sugar and the non-dairy creamer with both our Milk-Teas (Jasmine Green, and Wintermelon). Ms. Vivian went out of her way to bring us samples of our drinks to ensure they were to our liking. She also made adjustments to my friend's drink to make sure the tea flavor was strong in the absence of sugar. In addition to all of this, Ms. Vivian allowed us to sample some of the mix-ins. The place was full, but despite the busy atmosphere, Vivian took time to offer wonderful customer service. To say the least, I would return to BobaLust not only for the yummy drinks (which turned out great), but because I was treated so well. Thank you Vivian for your excellent professionalism and patience. You were wonderful and should train all your co-workers to be a little more like you. read more

I remember seeing my friend's picture on her Snapchat story of BobaLust, and the drink looked really good! My boyfriend and I were on our way home from Bed Bath & Beyond, when I saw the BobaLust store and decided to make a detour. The place is really clean, and simple. People were sitting down and waiting for their drinks, and there wasn't a line when we got there. Upon observing the menu, I decided to get the Crimson Cutie. I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to taste good, since other reviewers were saying that the drinks are watered down. That wasn't the case at all! I didn't get a chance to catch her name, but the girl working at the counter was really nice! After ordering my drink, I stood near the tables and waited for it. She walked around the counter, and handed me my drink personally. I've never seen a bubble tea place do that, and thought that it was really polite of her. After coming home, I noticed that my drink had melted a bit. I put it in the freezer, and took it out about 30 minutes later. Considering that it had watered down a bit on the drive home, I thought that it wasn't going to taste good. Honestly, it was the best fruit slush that I've ever had. The sweetness level was perfect. I was disappointed that I forgot to add toppings, but the peach and strawberry bits that came with the drink made up for it! The fruit bits tasted sweet, and not bland like most places that sell fruit drinks. If they opened a location in Downtown Seattle, I'd go everyday! The cups are a bit smaller than the traditional bubble tea places. In my opinion, it's quality over quantity here at BobaLust. I'd rather have my drink be a bit smaller, than have a watered down bigger cup of bubble tea. read more

it's a cute store that keeps their interior up to date with things such having a tree up when it's winter time. it's a great concept boba shop in general and customer service is usually great. this boba shop adheres more towards people who don't necessarily like boba and people who are just getting into boba, which there's nothing wrong with that BUT drinks are extremely sweet and on the more pricey side (this is coming from myself, who consumes boba often and has been for years). i would say it's more a novelty thing instead of being based around being a boba shop for everyone, whether they drink it a lot or barely at all. it also gets EXTREMELY busy the later in the day you go and friday - sunday is one of the worst days to go. expect to wait about 15-20 minutes at least for your drink(s). i recommend going closer to opening times and during weekdays if you want to skip the wait. they're most known for their fruity drinks, these are the really sweet drinks, they're good in taste but really sweet that almost makes the drink undrinkable (but i would still recommend them, not sure if they offer less sweetness, so if they are able to adjust, i would do that). when i've had their milk teas (which i haven't had in a long time, so this is based off my memory), there isn't much flavor or taste. in general, they're a great place to start if you don't drink much boba or trying boba for the first few times in your life, but if you're a more experienced boba consumer like me, expect it to be more pricey than the sharetea in the parking lot over or a lot smaller less known boba shops across WA. i would recommend a less sweetened version (unless you like extra sweet stuff) if you're getting any of their non-milk teas. read more

I was staying near south center, dropped by to check it out. place is pretty nice but the drinks definitely didnt live up to it. Drink tasted medicore, kinda reminds me of those bbt in ma and pa shops in pho restaurants. i find it expensive for the size of the drink and quality given. ive drink boba tea in many countries and cities, this taste nothing like the good ones. boba was alright. wouldnt drive all the way here just for it. 85 degrees in south center has better drinks. but good to try out once for being a local business but thats all. read more

This is my FAVORITE spot when it comes to bubble tea. I've been coming here at least once a week and every time the service is prompt, the drinks are delicious, (apparently they soak their boba in honey...omg...so good ) the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions and/or make suggestions if you aren't sure what to order. I've truly enjoyed every visit I've made since discovering this place. The only possible improvements I think they could make (and I had to think about this pretty hard) is expanding their menu slightly. They have a "secret menu" and the offerings on it seem to change often which is a bummer because sometimes I look at it and think to myself, "that sounds bomb, I'll try it next time!" and when I return a few days later, the drink I had in mind is no longer on the menu. One other thing is the amount of boba you get is on the lighter side. My boyfriend contends it's not nearly enough; I didn't completely disagree with him so out of curiosity I asked for double and I felt like that was too much. That's a really minor thing though so if you're thinking of trying this spot out, do give them a try! read more
