It's a super cute boba spot. It's aesthetically pleasing and rather quick. I got two drinks, one a mung bean pandan chizu latte I believe (the green one) and a mango tea. The mango tea I got with boba and it was DELICIOUS. The mung bean pandan was okay. I wouldn't order it again. I'm not sure if it wasn't mixed long enough, but it had the chalky pieces of flavor in it and it kinda tasted like Froot Loops (not what I expected from a pandan latte). But a heads up, is that any topping like boba, lychee, red beans are an additional dollar. Almost all places I've been to it's only an additional 50 cent charge even for delicious lychee pieces or red bean to die for. The boba was a okay, not worth $1 in the mango tea. I'd be back to try basic teas and such to see what they really can offer since I don't know if they were having an off day with pandan. read more

I just love bubble tea and mochi donuts. This is seriously perfection confection here at Bober. Ordering is easy and pretty self explanatory but they are always there to assist and answer questions or take your order if you can't use the kiosk. Thank you to female staff today I dropped my drink on accident carrying so much goodness and she made me another drink and wiped the counter and floor. Having visited the Sacramento and Walnut Creek locations, this one might be the worst spot for me. Ordered a Matcha Tea for the first time because it was one of their top drinks. Why? I thought to myself that it's hard to mess up a Matcha drink. Apparently not. It was so grainy and I could NOT finish even two sips of the drink. It was just a waste of my money. Service is fine, the workers were fine. The store itself is pretty nice and decorated. But the drinks guys... Beware of the tapioca too, it was lowkey hard and not chewy. After a browsing the menu of a self service screen, we decided on trying the mochi donuts and the Chizu Cookies & cream milk tea with boba. Folsom location had Worst experience ever! I love Boba and I have been to this location multiple times in the past. Never had an issue until today. I ordered 2 boba drinks and 2 mochi-nuts and it wasn't until I realized I paid $8 for 2 when they sell 3 for $7.50. I inquired to the worker afterwards who never made the suggestion of just getting 3 for nearly the same price and she made a big deal about how they would need to refund me in order to give me the third one. That was fine and was not the issue because I understand how inventory works. What made this experience awkward was while waiting on the refund, I grabbed a straw and a sleeve for our drinks and she mentions how in the future we cannot have sleeves for our drinks and she knows it's cold and rainy outside but "we are a franchise and your drink doesn't come with a sleeve so don't expect it next time"... RUDE you can mention me not being "allowed" to have a sleeve for my cup in the rain but can't mention how I can get 3 mochi nuts for cheaper the price. She then walks to the back and pulls the curtain aggressively in a "matter of fact" manner. When I tell you I have never been treated so poorly in an establishment that I love to support until today. BTW both workers were "shift leads" who failed to lead in the situation. I would highly suggest further training in customer service and the overall experience of your customers. read more

terrible. To start off, we tried to order in person but the worker very rudely stated we must use the robot. After much difficulty, we finally placed our order. 15 minutes later, our drinks came out. We immediately pointed out how one of our drinks was made incorrectly. A different worker chimed in saying, " it's fine, it's what you ordered." I decided to just go. Came here for their BOGO grand opening day but the line was super long out the door so left. I was able to order for pick up a few days later which was very convenient. The store is small but super cute- great for photos. They mung bean pandan latter drink is very tasty but sweet- you cannot adjust the sweetness. The good news is you can mix with water or milk and make two drinks out of one. I also tried the chizu milk tea and asked for 25% sweetness but it tasted super sweet so maybe they didn't see the modification. Either way the drink is food. I definitely think this is one of the better boba shops in Folsom. I will be back to try some Mochi donuts! read more

Came up to folsom to visit family and wanted some boba. Saw this new shop and decided to give it a shot. Walking into the shop, you'll see it's a definite instagram trap. It's the perfect place for anyone who wants to snap a picture for some likes. I got the roasted oolong milk tea and it tasted like milk and sugar. Honestly there was very minimal tea flavor and it tasted very mediocre. I've for sure had better milk tea elsewhere. Staff was friendly and place was clean/new.
