Finished work in Lynwood, so was searching for some comfort food. Found Bobo's on another app and decided to give them a try. I ordered their "World Famous Pastrami" combo. Came with nicely cooked french-fries and a fountain soda. The fries were very good, cooked to perfection with a bit of crunch on the outside, but tender on the inside. The pastrami was okay, not spectacular. If I go there again, I would probably stick with a hamburger. I haven't had Bobos in many years. Grew up with these burgers as a kid and let me tell ya. Back in the days the burgers were big and the fries long and very seasoned. Today I tried then again to relive those glory days. My burger joint has gone down hill, unfortunately. They added water down thousand island and drips off the burger. Fries are lumpy. Too much oil soaked in them. Maybe it's the workers who prep and worked on these issues but, overall it doesn't feel like the Old Bobos. It's like your usual run in the mill burger joint. read more
